was playing rw and wondered what the overseers project at the end of rivulet's campaign. turns out its moon and pebbles playing dominoes??
arrghskdjalsk board games (is dominoes a board game?) to me are so human in a way i can't explain?? it's just such a universal experience i think, its simple, it's inherently collaborative, its perfect for reconnecting. i've certainly gone for coffee and cards with old friends.
idk theres something about these massive supercomputers beyond anything you can possibly comprehend who look at each other, talk to each other for the first time in forever and they just... play dominoes. maybe it's a crutch but here they both are trying! they don't know how long either of them are going to survive, they're shadows of what they once were, but even so they can say thank you and i'm sorry and i forgive you and let's play a game. because we can, even if its all we can do. honestly i think this more than anything really cemented them as siblings, to go through so much, but then without needing to talk or to dwell too much on what happened, just agree stay in each others company and do something together. THAT'S ART THAT'S FAMILY THAT'S LOVE!!!

i love how unfatherly crowley and aziraphale both are when it comes down to it. sure aziraphale is more than willing to give the young people in his life help and advice and be their friend but he and crowley spent six years (eleven in the book) practically raising a kid (you just know his parents weren't around that often) and by the end they didn't even like him. crowley even suggested they just fucking kill him. he turned three kids into lizards for annoying him right after he destroyed their house. like it was that or kill them obviously but he did NOT hesitate with the newts. that's so funny to me. they're just inherently disinclined to parenthood. we need more characters like them actually

why do antis think it went:
- steve lies
- billy breaks a plate over steve’s head
when it actually went:
- billy gets smacked around, called a slur, then threatened all by his father because max ran off on his watch
- billy had to drive all around town to track down where she is, while he’s supposed to be on a date
- max sets the tone by saying “he can’t know i’m here. he’ll kill me. he’ll kills us.” (which babe way dramatic jfc)
- steve (a borderline 18 year old) lies about the whereabouts of max (a 13 year old) to her stepbrother. he also lies about even knowing who she is!!!
- billy calls him out for lying
- steve says “oh shit”
- billy sends steve to the ground for being weird
- flirting
- billy goes inside
- billy sees that not only was max with steve but three other boys as well (boys that billy has only ever seen making max upset)
- billy sets his sights on lucas who he already told max to stay away from (we can talk all about the racist undertones of this interaction but that’s not what this post is about)
- billy pushes lucas and tells him to stay away from max
- lucas kicks billy (rightfully so tbh)
- billy makes a threat that 100% was not serious (you think he would actually kill a child? be fr)
- steve punches billy
- billy’s reaction to steve punching him is laughing (LAUGHING but we don’t have time to unpack allll of that)
- more flirting
- billy swings at and misses steve
- steve punches billy again
- steve punches billy a third time while the kids cheer him on
- billy is still laughing
- steve punches billy a fourth time and backs him into a corner
- like mother like son billy breaks a plate over steve’s head
- the fight turns and now steve is getting his shit rocked
- max stabs billy IN THE NECK with a syringe with an unknown substance in it (this easily could have killed him)
- max threatens billy

incoherent rambling about tammy usher
for a start her self worth issues which are pointed out to her by verna just before she fucking dies. but then this bitch also has like 5 million mirrors. probably because she likes to torture herself as she stares at all her self perceived flaws.
I think she has a very high opinion/standard of what beauty is and this is likely party tied into her mother and how Annabel died young. This most likely gave her a complex with ageing and also her mortality.
The mirrors also clearly play into whatever kink she has going on for watching her husband and another woman. This woman who is clearly her little dress up doll, who she is moulding to be either a budget version of herself or the version of herself she wishes she could be (I can't quite tell which.)
This combined with the mirror on her ceiling, an odd choice, is also probably linked to her control issues, she needs to know what is going on, everywhere, at all times. She likes to be in the know, all seeing, as it helps her to feel grounded and in control of the situation.
Personally I read this as i's likely tied to her having suffered some kind of assault/abuse, most likely after she met her husband because she states during their fight that they used to be sexually involved.
Which leads to the fact she has deep rooted intimacy and vulnerability issues anyway. She will not let herself be in any sort of position of vulnerability, she shies away from physical touch (the flinch when bill touches her arms in e1 and pulling away from juno when she tries to hug her in e6.) She has a hard time expressing her emotions, which she seems to be trying to do in episode 6 in her own weird way. The scenes with Bill and with Juno where she has just the faintest hint of tears in her eyes during both before she bottles up her feelings again.
I think her admission that she misses her husband was genuine but Madeline shuts that shit down extremely quickly because she clearly doesn't believe that women should have to rely on a man for anything. And Tammy wants so desperately to be able to live up to her father's name that she's willing to sacrifice almost anything to get there. But that moment where she is yearning for her husband to be by her side and for them to do the right thing (save the company) together is the one moment I think she's most like her mother and we see that tiny bit of her shining through. But as always Maddy is not here for the soft housewife approach, she wants results that she thinks only women can produce.

It is time for the crossover question. So first (and kinda most important) how do you think Ornstein from Dark Souls would react to Radahn’s armor. They both have lion themed armors after all. And second how well the royal families of Dark Souls and Elden Ring would get along ?
ok I’m sooooo sorry but the most I’ve played of dark souls was when I started the game last summer determined to go in completely blind and I ended up fighting and dying to skeletons for like an hour and my reward for finally making it through was a sword I couldn’t even use then I finally broke down and googled a guide and it was like you shouldn’t be touching those skeletons until you’re like level 40 or something and I was like ok so there’s something wrong with me. then I did the first area but I had to stop playing because I went to grad school
anyway basically my knowledge of dark souls lore begins and ends with the opening cutscene so I’m appealing to my followers on this one… please leave some comments or reblogs!
I can tell you how radahn would react to ornstein’s armor though I feel like he’d simultaneously be like wtf that looks sick as hell are you also part of the godfrey fanclub but he’d also be kind of threatened because he needs to be the most specialest godfrey fan in the world and also this guy is even stealing his signature flaming red mane like huh???
