My favorite thing about Steph and Cass’s relationship, and something that’s been kind of lost in canon and fandom, is that originally they were NOT uwu wholesome.

Cass was kind of an asshole who DESPERATELY wanted to protect Steph and would undermine her to do so (sometimes violently), and Steph was DESPERATE to be taken seriously as a vigilante and would sometimes get in over her head to do so.

That being said, they formed a connection with each other anyway, and that’s what makes them so special to me. In an era that was very much into “let’s have the two girls fight,” it was so amazing to see two girls who wanted to do GOOD and FOUGHT to do so coming together and becoming friends.

Excellent moment from today’s stream: Scar telling Etho to kill Iskall, Etho killing Iskall, then Etho cowering behind Cleo when Iskall came back for revenge. Cleo politely asked Iskall to not kill Etho. Iskall refused. Cleo basically shrugged and said there’s nothing they can do. Iskall has been chasing and shooting at Etho for 20 minutes now.

one of the things i LOVE about clone high’s original run, is how few moments there actually were between joan and jfk…

yet EVERY moment they do share, it is always hinted that jfk likes joan. he makes little advances towards her. he agrees to help her with that school campaign. they work well together. he showed obvious interest in her even while john darc.

then it all builds up in the finale. he asks her to prom, and joan agrees, originally to make abe jealous. it is later learned he asked to prom NOT because of her makeover, but because HE ACTUALLY LIKES HER. they share a honest moment together with jfk explaining to joan that he sees more in her, drifting from his stereotyped jock persona

he has ALWAYS liked joan for who she is, and she doesn’t have to be someone she is not.

the show basically ends with joan finally learning abe cannot see her worth, so why chase after him, especially when there was someone who saw her beauty this whole time.

that is something i can never forget and oh STILL LOVE.

for a show meant to parody high school dramas, their relationship was built up and felt genuine.

alsp an assortment of sketches from this cutsey footsie little au of mine where basically its XXX years into the future (omg! reincarnation! so unique!) but obvi Vash is still og vash bc plant core. he opened up a little plant shop bc once Earth and No Mans land started trade, plants and vegetation became so much more common. and then Mr Woldwood is a mechanic! he mostly does bike mods (angelina core) but he often is js doing little repairs around ye old hopeland!

and then they meet and kiss a lot and wolfwood has an incurable heart disease and he dies and vash agonizes over losing wolfwood so young again :3!
