I know I gave Cal Imogen’s lightsaber design in Survivor as a joke but seeing it in important cut scenes makes me feel a certain way and now I’ve decided its actually gonna be a thing (ramblings and survivor spoilers under the cut)
Imogen first ruins Cal's day in the Lucrehulk on Koboh when he goes to rescue Zee (and maybe a couple more times after that), but I think their most prominent encounter happens in the Observatory before he kills Dagan. That's where I've planned their last "boss fight"
It's their most intense face-off cause up to that point Imogen has underestimated Cal or he's managed to escape/she's let him go for her own amusement. She's not messing around anymore - can't afford to when Tanalorr is within reach. Things conclude in a true stalemate and they ended up accidentally switching weapons during the struggle. So Cal is stuck with Imogen's lightsaber for a bit and vice versa.
Tumblr media
To his surprise, her saber doesn't resist him and he has no choice but to rely on it to save his life by putting a stop to Dagan. Now, with Dagan dead, his deal with Imogen is off and the only path to Tanalorr that she has is..... through Cal. Once again, they essentially want the same thing. But she detests him. And she wants her shit back.
By the time she tracks him down on Jedha, Bode has thrown a wrench into everything and fucked off with the compass. Imogen finds Cal unconscious, reaching for her lightsaber, and seriously considers smothering him right there, but she grinds her teeth and kicks him awake because she knows she needs his help and he needs hers.
Tumblr media
Imogen senses the Dark Side within him after they find Cere and she likes it. So she "forgets" to reclaim her lightsaber for a bit to see how it all plays out. After all, a dark weapon can feed dark urges. She thinks this will finally make him interesting.
Tumblr media
What she doesn't quite realize is that Cal's saber has an affect on her too. She realizes after seeing what it’s done to both Dagan and Bode that Tanalorr won't be the solution to her loneliness - that nothing will unless she's willing to let emotions in and make herself vulnerable. That is something she will not compromise on (not for Cal at least). The best outcome she can come to terms with is assuring that the Empire won't have the advantage of access to Tanalorr.
Imogen will not ask for her lightsaber back before she leaves, though. She takes it and gives Cal a stern reminder of who she is. It's almost more for her own sake as she doesn't want to forget either. She vows the last bit of mercy she will ever show him is letting him live and disappearing from his life for good. Her lightsaber never really feels quite the same after that..... but not necessarily in a wrong way.
Tumblr media
In conclusion: Kata makes both of them friendship bracelets

requested by anon: ok so for the bi!reader concept: last year i ended my relationship w this girl the main reason was because she was really insecure and jealous especially about me being bisexual like anytime i would talk to a guy she would just get so upset about it and she would make such gross biphobic comments and at the time i had so much internalised biphobia that i tried to convince myself i was gay n stayed in the relationship longer than i should have because i rly liked her i guess lol anyways (1/4) we ended and a while afterwards i started seeing this guy who i’d known of for ages (friends of friends type situation) but we just never really talked before or hung out but from the first date we clicked and the sex was crazy good like the type of sex were ur ditching ur vibrators cuz he’s that good lmao so one weekend we went to this party together and of course she is also there, i was so surprised and i could see her eyeing us the whole night, so when she came over i was anxious af (2/4) and this guy knew i was bi! it was no secret, i worked really hard to accept myself! so she comes over and she deadass goes “are you straight now? i knew you would end up with a man!” and she’s all smug but also hurt and im standing there like what the fuck and THEN this dumb man goes “ha guess the sex is so good i made her straight again” and i’m literally about to cry over how gross the whole interaction is and im so shocked i can’t even defend myself, i dumped him that night obviously (3/) last messgae: so basically can you pls do a redo of the gross situation where instead of being with that dumb guy its with calum and he is so protective n sweet n NORMAL n encourages u to stand up for urself about bisexuality / your sexuality, because what happened to me happens too often and its disgusting and gross and no one deserves that!! only if u feel comfortable/inspired tho, no pressure!! love u laura, thank u for creating such a safe space for all the queer babies it means a lot 💘 notes: i kinda enjoyed writing this one esp for my sweet anon baby. i love u and i hope this is everything you wanted ♥  warnings: biphobia, implications of emotional abuse

“Hey what’cha doing sweets?” Calum’s voice pulled you from your musings, your hand idly tracing patterns against the paper but the pen remaining on the desk. You wrenched your thoughts from the spiral you seemed to have fallen down, a smile crossing your lips as you felt your heart flutter at the sight of him.
“Nothin’. Just thinking.” You finally replied as he pulled up one of the spare chairs next to you, the bustling activity of the coffee shop falling into your background noise as his thigh pressed against yours.
“Really? Normally you doodle when you’re just thinking.” He countered with ease and your eyes dropped to the paper, noticing that the pen remained where you’d placed it when you first sat down. Subconsciously you must’ve realised that the route your thoughts had gone were not suitable to put down on paper, your fingers picking up the pen and mind falling blank immediately.
“Oh.” You breathed before placing the pen back down and packing away the pad and pen.
“What’s running through your head, doll?” Calum’s voice was quiet and concerned, you shrugged.
“Just, a lot on my mind is all. You’re not my keeper just because we’ve slept together.” You admitted quietly and he frowned before picking up his bag and for a sinking second you thought he was going to walk off, but instead, he took your bag from your hands and slung it over his shoulder.
He looked back at you expectantly and you sighed before standing up, leaving the coffee shop with him, your eyes on the floor as you fell into step next to him.
“Your place or mine?”
“E’s gonna be home and I don’t want to hear them rant about me bringing people back.” You muttered and Calum nodded.
“I think Ash is out. He’ll probably head out to Luke’s if I show up with you.” At his smirk, you rolled your eyes fondly before shoving him towards the bus stop. His indignant “hey!” was only ignored as you two waited for the bus, his arm slung over your shoulders.
Selfishly, you leaned into his touch, trying to ignore the fact that your stomach was doing flips at his touch alone.
The bus journey was a quiet ten minutes, but Calum seemed to understand that you weren’t willing to talk with so many people around, so he was content to just keep you close, and you were unwilling to pull away until his stop came up.
When you reached his shared house with Ashton, you noted that the car was gone from the driveway and Calum smirked.
“Looks like he’s out. C’mon.” His hand tucked around yours and pulled you inside. And for a second you wondered if you could distract him with sex, but then the guilt appeared and you could feel the tears of frustration appear as your thoughts swirled and you felt dizzy.
Calum had stepped ahead, turning to see you stood leaning against the closed door, head in your hands and he knew something was wrong. Stepping back to you, he dropped your bags and took your hand in his, pulling you upstairs to his room and your stomach twisted uncomfortably.
“Cal I-”
“I’m not suggesting that.” He muttered. You fell silent at that and as he pulled you into his room, you felt unsure, but he gave you no chance to really deny him as he crawled into bed before opening his arms out to you.
“Cal.”
“I know you. You don’t do emotional stuff well but I’m here for a cuddle and an ear if you need it.” You fell into the embrace easily, your head resting on his chest as his arms wrapped around your shoulders, his lips finding your temple as you finally felt something in you snap, the surge of emotions overwhelming and frighteningly vivid.
“I keep telling myself that I never was a lesbian, that I still found men attractive but Poppy made me feel like having that attraction was stupid since I was dating her and that I was a lesbian and it’s so fucking confusing because I like you, but I can hear her voice screeching that I’m not right, that I’m a lesbian or faking it or a freak.” And for the first time since you left Poppy, you cried.
Calum had been waiting for this. When the split had happened, you’d been ready for it, you’d already left her mentally, but this was what he knew you needed. He knew that the relationship with her had been toxic, but you’d never revealed the extent of her behaviour.
His heart broke.
“Just because you like both men and women does not mean you should feel so guilty over your sexuality. There’s a B in LGBT for a reason, doll. That’s you. You’re bisexual and you should be proud of that, not ashamed because some bitch with a control issue couldn’t handle the fact that you liked more than women.”
You found yourself gripping his shirt with your fists as you pressed your face into his chest, trying to stem the tears that seemed relentless. But Calum held his silence whilst you got it out of your system, knowing that you needed to get this off your chest.
“I’m sorry.” You finally got out, but he simply shushed you.
“She was a shitty person with an attitude to show. You shouldn’t apologise for the bitch.” His words were simple but it gave you a breath of ease, pulling away as hands rubbed your shoulders gently.
He was definitely too good to you, but he was there for you regardless and you were certain that you loved him for that.
“There’s gonna be a party on the other side of town in a couple of weeks. Ash took over the old Firefly down on Hartley. He’s revamping before opening the bar to the public. You fancy going?” And you smiled at the gentle distraction he was offering.
“We get at least a free drink if we show up, right?” And Calum laughed as he kissed your temple.
“He wouldn’t say no to me. Or you. In fact, I’m almost certain he’s expecting me to do full introductions on that night since Luke and Mike will be there with the others and their girls.” You rolled your eyes.
“It’s not like I went to school with Luke or anything.” Came your sarcastic retort and Calum laughed as the two of you settled for the evening.
“Pretty sure Luke last saw you when you started dating Poppy. He’s put two and two together but he won’t say anything unless you mention it. Even then he knows it’s not his place.” Your heart seemed to swell another size in affection for Luke.
“You’re making it difficult for me to not fall in love with you Cal. Good dick, you know how to use those lips and fingers of yours, you make me feel like I belong and you respect boundaries without me having to ask.” You finally muttered and Calum gave you an almost wistful smile.
“You may have been with Poppy but that didn’t stop me from being friends with you. You’re someone I’ve genuinely cared about from day one. Not gonna chuck that away because of who you are. Plus growing up with my mom and sister almost made certain I’d be in touch with my feminine side.” He teased but the sincerity and understanding in his tone eased your shoulders.
Your features softened at the admittance and you pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“Then I definitely got lucky to have you in my life at least, falling in love or not.”
When the day of the party rolled around, you felt sick with nerves and you couldn’t understand why.
When Calum rolled up to pick you up—he was driving to Luke’s who lived closest to the bar and you’d both get a ride back to yours before he picked up his car the following morning—he could see the nerves and the grimace on his face spoke volumes.
“What?” You all but demanded when you were debating outfits. He’d been sitting on the bed watching, but got up and held his hands out to you.
You took them hesitantly. His thumbs almost immediately started to soothe across the back of your hands to help relax you.
“Word has gotten around that Poppy is planning to show up. We haven’t exactly been quiet about our relationship, but I didn’t think she’d pull something like this.” And your stomach churned uncomfortably.
“We’re still going. Ashton promised free drinks and we’ll be in the VIP area right?” You checked and Calum nodded.
“Ashton has already told the bouncers that she’s not allowed near the VIP section. They’re checking and rechecking the lists to make sure she isn’t on one of them.” He explained and you let out a breath of air.
“Okay. It’ll be fine. It’s being handled and I’ve got you. Now which outfit do you think I should wear?” He studied your face for a second before a smile broke across his lips.
“The dark purple with the deep plunge. Is it wrong of me to flaunt in her face what she lost?” And you laughed as you kissed him.
“I mean, yes. But I also know that you want to show me off properly now that we’ve got things really settled.” You murmured and he grinned back unabashedly.
It was still an uphill battle, but he’d given you a lot to think about. And after gentle convincing, you’d found an LGBT friendly therapist who helped you process your thoughts. It helped you come to terms with accepting the toxic relationship that you’d been in but also it highlighted how beneficial Calum had been as a friend and confidant.
It also gave you the courage to ask Calum out officially, wanting to be with him entirely and not just in the evenings.
He took that in his stride and things shifted once more between the two of you. When you opened up to him about some of your sessions, you knew that your trust had been well placed because he never indicated anything to his friends and so you were never subjected to pitying stares or glares.
You were almost sure that you’d fall in love with him faster than you fell for Poppy.
The drive to Luke’s was filled with your nerves. You hadn’t seen Luke in years and you were also meeting his two other friends, Ashton and Michael as well as their partners.
“Ashton’s excited to finally meet you and stop telling me to be careful when I go to yours.”
Despite Calum living with Ashton, your schedules never seemed to match and more often than not, Calum could be found at your place, a small sanctuary from your hectic lives.
Ashton never begrudged that time you shared together, but Calum had mentioned a few times about how snappy he was being on the subject.
“He’ll chill when he realises I’m not out to break your heart or steal something.” You muttered with a chuckle. Calum snorted in return as he pulled into Luke’s driveway.
Your nerves return full force as he pulls you to the front door and steps in like he lives there.
“Hey fuckers, anyone about?” He called through and was met with calls of confirmation, another yell following that they were in the dining room. Your fingers squeezed Calum’s tightly and he didn’t hesitate to return it, his thumb soothing across the skin on the back of your hand.
“Look who it is!” A voice crowed loudly as he stepped into the dining room, followed by loud calls of greetings.
There was a flurry of introductions and you felt like the spotlight was being shone on you, under scrutiny from his best friends gazes once they had greeted their friend and Calum had introduced you. Or re-introduced you in Luke’s case.
“Well c’mon, the last time I saw you we were leaving school. What’s been happening to you?” Luke finally asked, indicating to the seat next to him. A small smile graced your lips as you sat down, Calum falling into the seat next to you as you shrugged.
“Life I guess? It’s been definitely more interesting with the different jobs and moving about. Building up a social life again.” Luke’s face filled with a frown at that.
Michael came in next.
“Building up a social life? Did you not have one?” His words held an innocent curiosity, yet you felt yourself hesitate.
“My ex was controlling to the point that I couldn’t do anything without their permission. They managed to make me believe that no one really wanted me around and I lost touch with old friends, like Luke.” You glanced to the side and he was frowning.
The others held varying degrees of stunned shock or disapproval.
“Well then he was a cunt.” Michael muttered and your eyes refused to meet theirs at the assumptions. Luke stayed quiet but his hand rested on your knee, squeezing it. You shot him a gentle smile in return.
“Well it’ll be good to have you back in our lives. Especially with these two knuckleheads.” He nodded at Ashton and Michael who immediately protested and you laughed.
It felt like you’d known them for years as you all had a few shots. Ashton, despite being the owner of the bar, wasn’t worried about turning up with his friends. He’d already explained to his staff that he’d be around for the rest of the night once he arrived and he’d told the small groups he’d be here and there.
After a handful of shots, the group of you made your way to the bar, your arm linked with Calum’s. There were separate conversations happening between you all, their girlfriends including you on their pamper night whilst the boys discussed a possible games night for all of you.
When you arrived at the club, you saw the queue of people waiting to get in and the subsequent groans from the line as the bouncer let you in, no questions asked.
Ashton guided the group of you to the VIP section and the music was still loud but you could still hear each other talking. You were chatting away with Luke’s girlfriend, arm still linked with Calum’s as Ashton disappeared to get drinks.
Calum pulled your attention away briefly, his lips by your ear.
“I’ve spotted her. She’s not seen us yet so don’t worry.” You barely nodded, acknowledging his words as you listened in, fighting to keep your nerves down.
The night continued and you were all a few drinks deep. Calum’s arm had barely left your waist all night as you talked and danced and drank. You’d been welcomed into his group of friends with an ease you never realised existed.
You’d deliberately not tried to seek out Poppy, silently praying that the universe would comply. But as the group of you stood out in the smokers area, huddled together under a heating lamp, your stomach sank as she stepped out, her eyes narrowing on you.
“Fuckin’ knew it!” You could feel the alarm in your face as you stepped back into Calum, his arm going around you protectively.
“Poppy, you’re drunk.” You felt curious gazes from your new friends, but you didn’t spare them a glance.
“You break up with me and go running to his arms, I knew you weren’t a fuckin lesbian. Pretending to try it out? Just another straight girl seeking attention. Fucking freak.” She snapped and your stomach sank.
“Get it through your thick head that she’s bisexual.” Calum snapped in your defence, earning a glare from Poppy. But Calum didn’t shrink from the glare, your glance to his face confirmed he was giving her his own. You were mildly impressed that she didn’t back down instantly.
“She’s a fuckin liar! Years of my life wasted on this bitch.” She spat at your feet and you took in a deep breath.
“You don’t get to control me anymore, Poppy. I’ve liked both men and women, but you never liked that because it meant that I had more chances of leaving you. And I wished I’d have left you sooner. Calum certainly thought so.”
“Of course you fucked the first man to pay you any attention.” Your heart sank once more at her declaration and you felt your mind fall into the old trap that you’d fought with for so long.
“No she never. In fact she slept with a few girls long before she slept with me. But I was her best friend as she tried to deal with the mess you created in her mind.” Calum snapped back. You felt your heart swell for him.
Poppy stepped forward, her hand raised but then Ashton stepped in front of you.
“Get out. You’re no longer welcome in this bar.” He made a gesture and security slowly made their way over.
“She shouldn’t be fucking welcome!” Poppy yelled back, but Ashton held firm.
“She is my friend. You are not. Get. Out.” When the bouncer rested a hand on her arm, she shrugged it off and stormed away. Your entire body was trembling.
“So that was the ex, huh?” Michael commented and you could feel your hands trembling as you nodded. “Why didn’t you correct me?” Calum spoke up for you as his hands took yours.
“It’s been a battle for her. Poppy had convinced her she was a lesbian, that she was wrong for having any attraction to men. In Poppy’s world, either your gay, lesbian or straight. Being bisexual isn’t acceptable in her eyes.” Calum’s arms wrapped around you and you stood there, holding onto him for dear life.
“Well that makes two of us then.” Michael’s casual comment had your knees go weak and you let out a weak laugh.
“Thank you Ash.” You finally murmured when you pulled away from Calum. Ashton didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around you in a warm hug that was both comforting and reassuring.
“Hey, you’ve been the best thing for my best mate. And you were friends with Luke once before. I’ve definitely got your back. And I get why you didn’t say anything and don’t hold that against you.” He muttered and you breathed a sigh of relief before returning to Calum’s embrace.
“More drinks or are we gonna go back to Luke’s?” And you shook your head.
“Let’s stay. I’m not gonna let her ruin it,” you leaned forwards so your lips were by his ear as the others went inside, “also I want to see if we can christen the bar in one of the toilets.” You breathed. Calum groaned as his grip around you got tighter and he pulled you in for a kiss that promised more.
“Oh you’re so fucked sweetheart. Especially since I know where the individual lips are and they aren’t attended by anyone.” You held back a moan at that thought before pulling away, your hand in his.
“Dance first?” And the innocence in your tone made him laugh as he followed behind you willingly.
“Menace.” The term was laced with affection as he caught up to you, kissing the spot just below your ear.
You simply grinned in return as you pulled him onto the dance floor, Poppy long forgotten as he danced with you.

tagging people who wanted to be tagged in my other fic (that i still havent started) if you want to be added or removed feel free to message me.
@screamingoutinrage @scaredysanders @evilmuffin @galacticallynonbinary @mythicalquill @pattons-potato
sorry for any mistakes but im on phone and i have no idea what im doing.
Summary: typical soulmate Au where the first words that you hear from your soulmate is tattooed on you since birth etc.. The idea came from tumblr but i dont know who wrote it actually so i cant credit them sorrry Warnings: death mention (dont worry its not mayor), DEAR EVAN HANSEN SPOILERS! Pairings: I think poly i mean idk i never wrote poly/lamp before but i mean enjoy lol Human! Au It was on his arm for so long. And he still didn’t know what it meant. I can’t believe Connor Murphy died. Who is Connor Murphy? Why is he dead? Why is this the first sentence he will hear from his soulmate? Why? Questions were building up in Virgil’s head. He spent the past 19 years of his life asking the same questions over and over again. He surely won’t find his soulmate after 19 long years. But his best, and only friend Patton still pushed him, still believed in him. He didn’t tell anyone, not even Patton what his tattoo said. Patton didn’t find his soulmate either and he was 20. But he never gave up. He went outside as much as he could, in hopes that someone will pass by and say these five words: This doesn’t make any sense. He also had no idea what his tattoo meant, what made sense but he was hopeful. And that is why they were sitting in Patton’s car to go the theathre. Virgil didn’t want to go, of course he didn’t he wasn’t the going outside type but Patton said he feels something is different. He couldn’t explain it but he said this night will change their life. And boy was he right. “C'mon Verge it’s going to be fun! I promise.” Patton beamed with a comforting smile. He loved going outside. Virgil didn’t. “Whatever. I still don’t like this idea. What are we even watching? I hope it’s something not that boring. But who am I kidding theathre is just boring..” Virgil said with a bored tone in his voice. He didn’t like theathre. It was dark, loud and they were sometimes singing. He didn’t like that kind of singing. He was more of the sad emo type. “It’s called Dear Evan Hansen! If I remember right it’s about two boys who go to high school. One of them is Evan Hansen and the other is… What’s his name? Verge check that little prospectus please. I think it’s on the backseat.” Patton said not getting his eyes off of the road. Virgil didn’t say anything just nodded and climbed to the backseat. It was not the easiest to find the little paper in the mess that was in Patton’s car but he succesfully pulled it out from between the two seats. “I found it” He said as he sat back in the front seat. “Check who’s the other boy in the play please. I can’t remember his name and you know I hate forggetting things.” Patton said. He didn’t hate a lot of things but his forgetfulness was one of them.
Virgil’s eyes scanned the paper for a few seconds when he spotted a name on the page. His breath caught up and he felt like he couldn’t breathe. “So what is it kiddo?” Patton asked. After a few minutes of silence he turned to look at Virgil who was just staring at the prospectus in front of him. “Connor Murphy” Virgil whispered and let out a shaky breath. “Is everything alright Verge? Do you want me to pull over?” Patton asked worriedly as he looked back at the road. He felt awful. He wanted to support his friend but he was in the middle of driving. Virgil stayed silent for the rest of the ride. He only shook his head when Patton asked if he wants him to pull over for the second time. “We are here Verge. Are you sure you don’t want to go home? You know it’s okay, I didn’t actually wanted to watch this that much, it doesn’t sound that interesting, so we can totally go home, it would be fine.” Patton rambled as an attempt to calm his friend down. Virgil just shook his head and started to walk towards the theathre pulling Patton with him. Virgil didn’t want to admit but he was actually kind of excited to see this musical. From what he knew it sounded interesting, but of course, it had to be ruined by some random person. “Will you tell me why are you so silent?” Patton asked as he was walking next to Virgil. The boy let Patton go when he was sure that he is following him. “No” Was all that Virgil said but it was enough for Patton to know not to push it. They will just enjoy this together and everything will be alright. They sat down in their seats at the front and waited for other people to fill up the theathre. Beacuse of Patton if they ever went somewhere together they were always super early beacuse Patton didn’t want to miss anything. The play didn’t start for another 15 minutes so Virgil decided to listen to music. As he reached in his pockets to grab his headphones he had to realize that they are in fact missing. “Are you searching for your headphones? Sorry kiddo but maybe today is the big day you can’t miss it out just beacuse you were listening to music.” Patton said with an apologetic smile. Roman’s Pov “Logan we have to go! It’s Dear Evan Hansen!” “I am aware Roman. But is it really that important? There’s no reason for me to go.” Logan asserted. “Yes there is silly. You might find your soulmate! But most importantly I might find my own soulmate. My princess. I’m sure she is beautiful and we will be a perfect match.” Roman exagerrated. “You shouldn’t assume Roman. You might be disappointed. What if it’s not even a girl? It can be a boy. Or a non-binary person. And what if you will be polar opposites. You set your bar too high, and that will cause disappointment.” The other boy stated. “You don’t understand Lo. I can feel it. We will be perfect. I can feel it.” The dramatic one said. “That makes no logical sense. And you can’t know for sure that you will meet them tonight. Also if you really want to see the play, we should go now or we will be late.” Logan pointed out. “Oh gosh you are right we need to go right now. C'mon Logan you don’t wanna miss the play do you?” Roman said and hurried out the door. Logan only sighed and went after the other boy. He was stuck with this drama queen till he finds his soulmate so he, secretly of course, also wants Roman to find his soulmate. And he would never admit it, not even to himself but deep down he too wanted to know who his “other half” is. It was stupid and illogical but he had to know. The theathre wasn’t that far away, it was maybe a ten minute walk and with Roman’s fast walking they arrived in less than five minutes. They went in and sat in the front row. Not that far away two boys sat around the same age. The only reason Logan noticed them is beacuse they looked like they are perfect opposites of each other. One of them wore a dark hoodie with purple paches and the other wore a blue t-shirt. The dark boy’s hair was in his face and his eyeshadow seemed to be under his eyes rather than on his eyelids. They looked odd but Logan didn’t think about them for too long. Everyone fell silent as the play started. Time skippity bc im lazyyy and also dont have any fucking time lol The first act has finished and there was a 15 minute break. Almost everyone stood up to go to the bathrooms or to call someone etc.. They passed in front of the two boys when Logan heard it. “I can’t believe it kiddo.” The sentence was followed with a sob which meant the person was crying. Logan grabbed Roman’s arm and pulled the royal boy with him. “Jesus nerd calm down you look like you just saw a ghost or something. What’s up with you? Why do you look so frightened?” Roman bombed the other boy with questions. “I saw him. My soulmate. I saw him. I heard the sentence.” Logan breathed out. “Why are you so weird? I thought you didn’t care. I mean I’m happy for you but you said you don’t care.” “I thought that too.” Was all Logan said before they heard the theathre guy tell them that they have to go back. Logan hurriedly went back to his row not even waiting for Roman. He kept muttering this doesn’t make any sense. Apparently he was too loud as he heard a squeal from next to him. Of course he was standning right im front of the odd boy with the other weird guy. “Virgil, Virgil, Virgil.” The boy shaked the dark one next to him. Logan just stood there looking at what the two were doing. “What happened Patt? Are you hurt? Why do you look so… happy?” The other boy, Virgil as he just learned his name asked. “Look!” He pulled up his cardigan’s sleeves and revealed that his tattoo was fading. Then Virgil noticed Logan standing there. “Oh. Cool. So you are the guy. That’s cool.” Virgil said as he put his headphones on. At least there was an attempt to put them back, when he heard it. “I can’t believe Connor Murphy died.” It was a boy who wore an outfit close to a Prince’s. There was no way that guy was his soulmate. “You! You are the one!” He shouted suddenly. The royal boy froze in his place and the two boys next to him looked in his direction as well. “Roman?” Logan asked. “Wait you know this guy? I don’t even know you. What’s your name anyways?” Virgil asked as he turned to Logan. “Oh apologise. My name is Logan and that right there is my roommate. His name is Roman. And it seems like you said the words that are on his back.” Logan stated. “Well Roman you spoiled the whole fucking play you know that right? You could have said literally anything else that didn’t contain these words but you, you had to say this. Thanks for spoiling this play. It was really great living my life in fear beacuse the word dead was on my arm. So really thank you.” Virgil scuffed. After a few minutes Patton broke the silence. “Verge calm down, it’s not Roman’s fault. It’s no one’s fault in fact.” The fatherly figure tried to calm both of the boys down. “You… you are a boy. And-and you wear all black and you literally just look like an emo nightmare. I’ve waited 20 years for this?” Roman asked as he pointed towards the dark boy. “Woah there. You don’t have to be mean. You don’t even know Virgil. You just critize him by his appearance. And that is not a good thing to do.” Patton said with a serious voice. “Very much so. Roman I told you. If you set your expectation too high you will probably be disappointed. Your soulmate doesn’t have to be a girl that is just plain stupid. Gender shouldn’t matter. Nor appearance. Personality is the one thing that matters.”
Virgil’s eyes were scanning between the three boys in front of him. They were defending… him. Of course Patton always stood up for him, since he started high school the bubbly boy was always with him. But this new guy. He didn’t even know him. Why can’t the smart and kind boy be his soulmate? As he was thinking about this he felt something burning on his upper arm. It seemed like the three other boy experienced this too so they looked at each other then at their arms. He pulled up his sleeves and saw that the question What? was on his arm. But that’s not all. He also had I don’t understand and This makes no sense all tattooed on both his arms.
"What?“ Patton suddenly asked. He was as confused as the others but everyone gasped as the word What started to fade from all of their arms. "I don’t understand.” Was the next sentence that started to fade from the boys’ arms. It was Roman who said this in complete confusion. “This makes no sense” Logan stated. The last sentence faded from Virgil’s arm. The other three looked at him. They all had the same sentence on their arm and Virgil said it immideatly. “I’m gonna faint.” He said and he fell to the ground. Or he would have fell if Roman didn’t jump behind him to catch him.
okay so im ending this here beacuse im shit at endings sorry.

Cars 3 Review (Spoilers)
2 Weeks after seeing the film I finally post a review...XD
Heads up, spoilers in case you haven't seen the movie. ;) The start of the movie brought me right back to the first one, absolutely loved it. Having Doc being mentioned practically first thing I could tell right away that he was going play a huge role in this movie. The intro really felt exciting and nostalgic at the same time, especially with the music. I felt like they rushed the beginning a little with Lightning having friends on the racetrack like Cal and Bobby, I feel like they could've been fleshed out a bit more. Also I feel like Jackson Storm's introduction was a bit unrealistic, like why would only at the end of the race would he notice that there was a new rookie racing with him? I get what the writers were trying to do, and I get why it would make for a good introduction to his character, Jackson is basically an unexpected character to appear in Lightning's life, taking the race by storm as you would say...XD But from a literal stand point, Lightning should've known about Jackson prior to the race...then again Lightning was always in the front...and Jackson didn't decide to be up the front till the very end so...make sense I guess. When it comes towards the crash scene (and I really hate that I saw this part back in January...cuz as soon as I saw it on screen I knew what was coming), I could definitely tell that this was reality and not a dream as many had speculated in the trailers. The music here is just so emotional, especially after Jackson Storm takes back the lead and Lightning fights back and I could really feel his pain. And when I saw the reaction on Sally's face...I was practically in tears (though for some reason I just can't seem to cry in public so I actually didn't, but mentally I was breaking down). I just love how there is nothing but silence as the crash takes place, the movie really wants to hear every scrape, every smash and every hit that Lightning makes before he tumbles to a stop. It was truly a shocking scene, I really wanted to see some sort of hospital scene, but I was disappointed to see it skip 4 months, it would've been real nice to see Lightning in hospital, everyone around him and all. I feel like the writers would've included it if they had more time for it but I guess they didn't, oh well... So they skipped 4 months, a bit of a bummer there. Nice to see Radiator Springs again...then we move to Lightning painted in nothing but primer and a 95 on his sides, this scene I could just tell how down and depressed Lightning was. I really like that about Pixar films, they make the emotions so realistic I just love it. Anyways, the flashback scene here from the first movie really got me, it just really makes you think how much time has passed from when Lightning crashed into town and then in that part of the movie he had just been in a crash and was now trying to mentally recover from it. When Sally came into the scene, I just knew I was going to love what was going to happen because I love these two together, and I loved already how much attention Sally is getting so far. Sally helping Lightning get his motivation back was a great idea, it just felt kinda rushed that with only two weeks left until the next racing season starts...and Lightning's spent 4 months doing nothing but stay in Doc's garage...that Sally could've encouraged him a lot sooner, unless she did behind the scenes but we'll never know I guess. Also I just loved it when Sally called him Stinky instead of Stickers, and I'm really loving what a character Sally is becoming, more witty but still as confident and self motivated as she was in the first film. It is also in this scene where we're introduced to Mater outside of the races (the same went for Sally, but I'm talking about mainly from the viewpoint of the 2nd movie), it's nice to see that Mater is back as that comedy relief sort of character and not the front stage. Moving ahead a little, I loved how Pixar brought back Rusty and Dusty from the first film (though I am aware one of the brothers has passed...RIP). Things from here really started to speed up, I feel like that with a little more time this section of the movie could've been fleshed out more to provide more of that realistic feel of recovering both physically and mentally from a crash. So far this movie has had so many call backs to the first film it almost seems like a remake of it, especially after seeing a travel montage with Mack and "Kings Highway" playing, truly settling, but it'll never beat "Life is a Highway" for sure. Oh, and my number one scene in this movie so far is when Lightning and Sally say "love you" to each other, aww...^^ And we get to the training sight, man when I first saw it...it was just huge, I didn't even think Rusty and Dusty could make that sort of thing, I knew there was someone behind it other than those two, obviously the silver car from the trailers known as Sterling. At first glance I felt like something would be up with him, and later in the film I was right. But first, when Cruz and Lightning first met, I totally fell for Cruz saying Lightning was a fake, insulting him but I just love how she turned back around, telling him to use that for motivation. The next several scenes I felt like Cruz shouldn't have treated him like he was old and brittle, she had seen him race before, and most definitely in the more recent times leading up to the crash, so shouldn't she understand that he can go a lot faster than that? At the same time this was all after the crash so it was a little understandable that she wanted to take the training slow with him. When I got around to seeing him on the simulator, I just knew this wasn't going to work out, with the confidence Cruz was lacking in him and with Sterling watching I just knew things were going to go wrong...and they did. But I do find it funny when Lightning said. "I have crashed." Lol so funny XD Things get intense after this, I knew Sterling was up for retiring Lightning, just like what happened to Cal and some of the other racers last racing season. All he could see was dollar signs, not a racecar who could keep going, he wanted Lightning to retire so he could start making Lightning a brand. But I love the turnaround Lightning makes here, and I knew within an instant that Cruz was coming with Lightning to train the moment Sterling said he would be taking someone with him. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard the good old Mac start up sound with the treadmill, hilarious. I still think Cruz isn't treating Lightning right here, she should know he trained on this sort of terrain before, but I understood why she wanted him on the treadmill, since she wasn't experienced like Lightning was. And then begins the montage of Lightning beginning to train Cruz, I can just see Lightning acting a little like his old self here where all he wants is for his speed to be measured and be on with it, but he had to train Cruz how to drive on sand. And I just love the "crabbies have gone night night" part, so cute! ^^ The Thunder Hollow scene was spectacular, I made sure to look into how realistic the mud look because I knew that the animators had a hard time working with that. When I saw Miss Fritter, I could just see that she was super awesome right away, you could see she's a badass character... XD Anyways, with Lightning and Cruz having no choice but to race, I could see that I was going to be in for one heck of a ride. I was surprised at the end that Cruz actually won the race, and how Lightning and she barely got damaged...other than Lightning losing a wheel (it always seems to be the back ones with this guy huh? XD). But I kinda hate how perfectly timed the next scene was...with Lightning being revealed, the water tank coming to Miss Fritter's aid...passing Lightning at that very moment, with Cruz just narrowly passing the water tank truck at that same time felt all too perfectly timed for me. Anyways, skipping ahead a little, I just loved Lightning's annoyed or "So Done with you" look while Cruz gloated a little about her victory. Then this is where emotions start to kick in, I can really connect with Cruz over this part. Feeling like you didn't belong and decided to back out instead of taking that chance...I could just imagine myself in her spot, there had been so many opportunities I could've taken that could've changed my life but I didn't take them because I was worried I didn't belong there. I could really see how hurt both Lightning and Cruz was in this scene, I could connect with Lightning too, not having realised how much of an impact you have on others until they tell you at their lowest point. It was truly an emotional scene that I'll never forget. With Lightning calling Mater instead of Sally afterwards I felt like it was just a scene the writers put in so Mater would have a bit more screen time, although he had his own movie they needed to acknowledge Lightning's best friend still. And I could see even more of why the writers made Lightning call Mater instead of Sally, I can't totally picture Sally telling him to find Doc's teacher...don't know why I just can't. So the next scene is hilarious with Lightning trying to make it up to Cruz, I felt like I was just laughing in embarrassment and feeling sorry that Cruz had to see that. But seeing Lightning dance to that same training music from earlier was simply priceless...XD Nice to see that Cruz came around and decided to go with Lightning (just so he would stop dancing...XD), I still find it a little rude of how Cruz assumes all old cars (especially for someone like Smokey) to have passed away, man I can't wait for her to meet Lizzie then! XD So anyways, I was surprised at how soon Cruz managed to "turn right to go left", it took Lightning a few days to do, this was literally the day after Cruz was being taught how to do that (sort of), it kinda feels a bit rushed, and it feels a little too coincidental that Lightning and Cruz just happen to find Smokey there at the abandoned race track when they were actually looking for him in the first place, but I love that Smokey's first assumption of why they were there wasn't the actual reason. It was really interesting seeing the other legendary racers like River Scott, Louise "Barnstormer" Nash and Junior "Midnight" Moon and how they reminisce about the good old days when Doc was racing alongside them, and seeing that signature move Doc made was amazing. It was sad for Lightning to assume that racing was the only time Doc was truly happy, but after Smokey showed him the letters from Doc, and seeing him on the wall with Doc...I could truly see just how much Lightning realised how important he was to Doc's life. The flashbacks made it even more memorable, and seeing Doc speaking was even more amazing. Then moving onto the training scene, I just loved Cruz's character here, putting her motivational skills to the test with Lightning, and seeing Lightning going through the struggles of realising he's a slower car now and needs to learn new moves. And when the camera panned to Cruz, I just knew that all these valuable tips were going to be useful to her real soon. With the last bit of training before Lightning leaves to Florida, I could really tell just how torn Lightning felt about himself, this was where he was beginning to process that Cruz could really be a better racer than he is, and how he had to really accept that he couldn't beat everyone anymore. Then we're taken to the Florida 500...damn that race track dome structure looks stunning! It was nice to see Sally come back into the picture, and I just loved her witty talk to him about moving on from him no matter what happened during that race. So cute and hilarious. And then we see Jackson talking like his usual self again, putting others down and bragging about himself, truly a jerk like Sally put it. SO we commence the race, I could just tell something big was going to happen, seeing Smokey coaching Lightning on was a true callback to the first film with Doc, only it didn't have the same amount of excitement as the first one unfortunately. Then this is where things begin to take an unexpected turn, seeing Sterling just labeling Cruz as a trainer and not a racer, it really hits Lightning then and there that Cruz is truly meant to be a racer. I could just see it in his eyes, and when Lightning came to pit, I was not expecting Cruz to be fitted with racing gear so she could race, I was just as shocked as she was. This part was so intense, the music, the arguing just made it feel like that split second decision, and I loved it. So now Cruz is racing, and I felt like from this point on Cruz was going to win, not that I had seen it in spoilers but because it wouldn't seem right if she didn't win...then again now that I really think about it...no, moving on! It didn't feel right with Smokey telling Cruz what to do, I could definitely tell that Lightning was going to be coaching her, and when he did I couldn't be happier, I was truly amazed at how much of a great crew chief Lightning would make. And all in the end this causes Cruz to do the unbelievable move Doc made on his encounter with a rude rookie, in a way I could see it coming, but when the music kicked up as Cruz crossed the finish line first and just how nostalgic it all was from the first film truly made it feel more memorable. ^^ Also it came no surprise to me that Cruz quit Rusteze and raced for Dinoco (if only they could hold out the merchandising...XD), but I was more surprised to see that Lightning did technically win the race too, part of me should've realised that sooner. It was great to see that Lightning wasn't retired, and I was more surprised when Tex actually bought Rusteze. The ending scene was on point, ending where the last two movies ended, with a race around Willy's Butte. Seeing Lightning painted pretty much like Doc was priceless, and that ending music is now my favourite song ever, it is just so awesome! I loved the photograph of Lightning looking a Cruz the same way Doc looked at him when he was younger, it truly shows what you can teach the new generation and what fun you can make out of it. Overall it was a truly amazing movie, however it doesn't top the first movie unfortunately, I don't think any amount of Cars sequels would ever par with the first film, but I will say I enjoyed it far more than I enjoyed Cars 2 (which was barely at all...lol). It taught me that life long lesson that the best part of anyone's life is not when they're in their prime, but when they're watching someone else be in their prime because of their influence, and in the future I hope to do that to the next generation. I hope I make a great impact on the next generation just like Lightning has done with Cruz. Truly a spectacular film. Overall Ratings for each film
Cars: (10/10) Cars 2 (5/10) Cars 3 (8/10)

Stars Align 2
The first episode I saw at the anime club, so I’ve skipped straight to ep 2 for the coverage.
Hmm? I thought this would cut to the OP…it didn’t.
Oh, poor Maki! He has a slap mark on his face!
Why is it uniforms are so gendered anyway? Not just sports ones. (It might be because I’m so used to wearing other people’s hand me downs, regardless of their gender, but…yeah.)
The real tennis-playing dude is Kei Nishikori…LOL.
That’s the 3rd Ishigami for this season, methinks. (The others hail from Dr Stone.)
Come to think of it, the most I’ve ever done in one shot is 10 laps of a court (and that was with lots of practice). 20 would be torture…
The animation…where it goes black and white…that’s awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee, y’know???
I like how Maki’s just splat on the ground without his hands to support him.
Windows tablet with stand. I’ve seen those in stores and catalogues before…they should run Windows 7 at the bare minimum, 8 or 10 if they’re newer.
Maki’s top says “continue” on it. It’s a good shirt for a boy that really does continue, despite his hardships.
I-Is Maki’s mother having an affair…? With Shou? Or is Shou a good friend of hers who happens to be male?
The way Toma wears his jacket…it reminds me of Chuuya (BSD). Pretty badass for a middle school kid, don’tcha think?
Kenkou = health, so a squishy ball is a health ball…makes sense. It’s good for the circulation and all that.
When Toma started explaining the grips…I realised I’d fallen into what I just called the Tsuritama trap…that is, when I watch a show for entertainment and end up learning about skills I’ll never need in the process.
Both boys are righthanded, I noticed.
Didn’t notice at first, but Toma put the ball in his pocket.
Is it just me or is there CGI in this show…? (That’s a feeling I’ve had since ep 1, but haven’t been able to confirm since it’s so well integrated.)
Hmm…I heard there was plagiarism going around with this show’s choreography…I didn’t see the Chika dance in context, so I wouldn’t know if it was copied from there. Still, it’s interesting how the guy on the left (if there is one) generally does better than the one on the right. Some of them just give up in the end, LOL.
Hmm…Hoshiai no Sora means “The Sky where Stars Line Up” or something of the sort…hence, “Stars Align”.
“Even in an ever-changing world, the starlit sky will not change.” – That’s the words that sometimes accompany the title.
BnHA 65
Yeah, how are the League any different to the yakuza anyway?
The interesting thing is that Deku also has “power he can’t control”, but we see more of that narrative.
I love how Mic’s words were put into the visuals too, culminating in the “HA!”.
Okay, so Togata’s pun is that he’ll ittemirio, a pun on his name (obviously) and ittemiro (let’s go see). The English says I Togata see, which keeps his name in there and keeps the level of cheesiness to boot! Good job subbers! (By the way, that pun’s not in the manga.)
I already know what happens in this arc (thank you, free Viz chapters!), so now I have this sinking feeling when it comes to talking about Nighteye…
Apparently Bubble Girl was a winning design from a competition. Sorta like how Horikoshi appeared in One Piece one time and that, you could say, was the start of his career in print (so it’s a legacy in a sense).
Iruma-kun 3
Oh hey, I just realised Asmodeus’s nails are bright red…that’s kinda cute, actually. (In that “boys are hot” kinda “cute” sense, people.)
I have no idea what the lyrics to Clara’s song are meant to be in Japanese…not that I could track down whatever the heck she’s singing anyway.
Okay, so “play house” appears to be mamagoto (literally “mother’s thing[s]” (in a metaphorical sense, playing house is replicating mothers’ chores, so…yeah, mothers’ things), but it’s got the character for “demon” twice instead of what it should have. Hence “murder house”.
Hey, couldn’t you at least make Azz-Azz (as you call him) your husband?(!) (small LOL)
Demonathon = marathon, but with the character for “demon”. That’s actually straightforward in both languages…for once.
The alarm clock is a cute bird with horns!!! So cute!!!
I feel sorry for Opera. Which reminds me, why would Sullivan need a butler if he was living alone?
Whoa! Iruma actually refused before Clara said “please”! He’s growing a spine! So early…(whispers “My boy is growing up so fast…” as a joke)
Clara’s nails are a bright pink…a few shades off from Asmodeus’s red, but still really bright.
*vending machine appears* - Now that’s what I call “getting Yocchan some cold drinks”!
Azz isn’t dressed in white, he’s in pink! Dang colour palette, going against what Clara says!
I just realised Asmodeus wears two jackets…or is that a jacket and a long shirt?
There’s no pun in that segment title…it’s just “Akuma no Otomodachi”.
Poor Opera…it looks like he’s wearing two pairs of pants…or maybe that’s his shirt? Or his boxers? Who knows?...Actually, when I think about it, that might just be his shirt. Sorry, Opera.
Wait…so if most of the demons fly to school, why do Asmodeus, Clara and Iruma walk…? (Well, Iruma can’t fly, but the other two might be able to…) Update: We do kind of address this in the next ep, but that doesn’t answer why Clara hasn’t shown she can fly in that ep.
Oh, if it isn’t Sna-er, Kalego…(LOL) But seriously, Kalego’s hairdo is actually kinda nice for a guy. Then again, I’m the one who likes dudes with long hair, so…eh. I can take it or leave it.
Did Kalego never meet Clara…?
Eggie-sensei…no kidding, that’s what she says. It’s from the –ego in “Kalego”, of course. (But I have no idea if “Azz-Azz” is what Clara actually says for Asmodeus…) Similarly, the school store guy is called Kamukamu-san, so it’s literally “Comecome”...as in “come and buy from me”. Update: Yes, Azz-Azz is what she calls him.
There aren’t a lot of girls in that crowd, Eggie-sensei and Clara…
Eggie-sensei really is shaped like an egg! So fluffy! I wanna plushie of him in that form!
Wait, the sticker costs 333 bills? Iruma’s gonna have to pay for it later…Update: 2 stickers = 666 bills.
“Pay me.” – LOLLLLLLLLLLL! I’m so sorry, Fluffy Snape, but you were hilarious in that scene!!!
Demons don’t even have the concept of “friends”…? That’s…cute! Way too cute!
The mochi Clara refers to is because tomodachi is the word for friend (it has “mochi” in it, see?).
There’s Sullivan’s face on his stamp, LOL.
See? Asmodeus does have black wings like the demons you see in all those morning shots of this show!!!
Dr Stone 16
Byakuya (Senku’s dad)…his face keeps getting censored, even though it’s right there on the spinoff promo material…! *points to the spinoff page on Viz*
The piano music in this scene is nice…I heard the OST is on Spotify too, so I’ll chase it up later.
“Senku, the science guy” doesn’t have as much of a ring to it as Bill Nye does.
Taiju’s just got this proud face, like he didn’t really know what he was doing but he claimed the credit anyway…the big oaf. (LOL)
There’s a banana on Senku’s phone, LOL.
Hmm…where’s Senku’s mum? Did he ever have one?
Shamil’s face looks like Tsukasa’s so much, it almost unnerves me…
[TMS Football Stadium] - TMS is responsible for this anime adaption, I’m pretty sure…LOL.
A Byakuya reboot just started in manga form. I wonder if the Dr Stone anime will cover any of it…?
BnHA 66
Notably, “hero work studies” = hero internships. Those two translations seem to be interchangeable.
Normally, the end of the phrase would be “Boy Meets Girl”, right? There’s an important girl in this arc, y’know?
The contract is kind of hard to read, but I did make out the word “Nighteye” in katakana.
Technically, Midoriya should be in possession of a funny bone - the humerus, y’know??? (<- comically missing the point)
Mirio kinda reminds me of Araki (Area no Kishi), for some reason…it must be because they both like comedy. Then again, Midoriya at the moment is reminding me of Bakugo, because of all the mouth shapes being similar…
This is interesting. In the manga, the scene pointing out Ochako and Tsuyu weren’t going to be at their original internship places wasn’t at the dorms.
Ooh! They’re even foreshadowing Hawks, which wasn’t even in the manga at this stage!!
I do believe this “Hado and Amajiki talking to the students who’ll be relevant to this arc” is also anime-original. Todoroki’s joke was definitely AO (anime original).
Shinchou Yuusha 3
…can we not with the boob jokes??? Rista doesn’t have a flat board, people. Update: She also acknowledges this…we don’t know Aria’s size, but Rista is a D cup.
Oooh, oooooooooooh! I spy a ponytail boy in the back there and me likey! (I guess I’m still feeling a bit bummed out because I attended a wedding yesterday and ended up crushing on a cousin’s younger brother-in-law – precisely because he had long hair, but then he put it up into a man bun and I went, “Nope, I can’t have him,” not to mention he’s married already. Plus the Area no Kishi episode I found today – ep. 30 – had a kinda chubby Araki, so I noped out of it and as a result, I need me some bishonen to appease the eyes. Good thing Seiya does the trick.)
Marth, eh? *thinks about the blogger* Then again, there’s my reaction when it comes to Ariadoa…
Oh, this is like a PreCure dance ED. I see…then it turns out to be Rista’s figure alarm. The logic checks out.
Iruma-kun 4
Seriously, Azz doesn’t sound like he should be Iruma’s age…but that’s part of the joke, I guess. *gets pelted with tomatoes for revealing said joke*
So “The Misfit Class” is technically the “Problem Child Class” (Mondaiji Kurasu), but the alternative reading given to mondaiji says “Abnormal”.
It seems “devi” is an alternative way to say “very” in this show, hence the ED being “Debikyu” (Devi Cute).
I…think these demon ranks may actually be Phonecian letters (which I learnt about from Star Driver)…
That “thinking reed” business I knew from somewhere, but…turns out it’s just a person called Blaise Pascal.
A “heugh”? Wassat? (It just sounds like some noise you’d make when you barf…) Okay, I’m joking, here’s the real meaning: “a steep crag or cliff” or “a ravine or glen with overhanging sides.”
Clara, stop fiddling with Sabrock’s tail…!
Oh, demon birds are cute! Like regular sparrows, only with a different colour scheme! The demonitors are cute too!
So many cute birds~. I’m so spoilt~!
Hmm…if humans cause demons to heal…no wonder they’re delicacies.
Hmm…I suspected this episode would end with a cliffhanger. The plotline was running far too long for just 23 mins.
Stars Align 3
Geesh, Toma’s got a huge bag…Update: (They all have huge bags, what are you saying???)
Lemme guess – I know nothing about tennis, but the best tennis doubles need good communication. I learnt that sort of thing from the Amazing Race, to be real with you.
Come to think of it…it’s always the mother with her unconditional love, huh? Any single fathers in anime? (No, I don’t mean like Father Fujimoto in Blue Exorcist – he’s an adoptive father.)
Judging from the cacti and fossils, Toma likes paleontology and biology. Or maybe that was from Ryoma…who knows?
Toma appears to have green frames for his glasses and then standard black frames.
Dang, it cut in the middle of that revelation! If this were a manga, I would’ve been chomping at the bit for the next chapter! However, it does get finished at the very end, so keep watching.
Update: There’s not a lot of music to this show…not that that’s a bad thing. It’s good for tense moments, in fact.
No Guns Life 3
This OP rocks, man!
Ayatsuri Ningyo = Manipulated Puppet. Or Puppet for Manipulation.
That thing on the door says “best luck” (daikichi). It’s a very Chinese thing to do.
His apron says “meat”. He’s probably a butcher or something.
How does a guy with a gun for a head drink coffee? (small LOL)
I remember someone called Juzo with Basket “a Nezuko cosplay”.
Does Tetsuro’s voice change for the Extended he affects with Harmony?
I noticed in the ED Juzo has an arm missing…must be important later.
I believe Mary’s shirt in the ED says “skill” or “technique” (read as “gi” or “waza”).
