okay, i dont know how much of this is just like, the canon comic designs but. i just realized that cheavy and cmedic totally do that like, "mirrors that complete each other" thing, via like, the only part of cmedic that is regularly visible in the field suit are his eyes, and the only part of judas that isn't regularly visible are his eyes, bc of the goggles and. symmetry. i love them. <3

YES I love that design element.

Cmedic is the most heavily armored, but his eyes being visible means you can easily get a read on his personality. Eyes are the window to the soul, after all. On top of that, they're the most expressive part of the human face, so seeing Cmedic's eyes means greater potential for expressions.

Cheavy, however, is only beaten out by Saxton Hale in terms of how much skin he shows. And yet his goggles completely hide his eyes, meaning that it's much harder to get a read on him because he can't really emote beyond broader facial expressions. It's actually a really good design element given that he's a major antagonist who is designed from the ground-up to be intimidating. Not being able to see his eyes is really good for doing that.

Actually, now that I think about it, most of TFC has a similar design element...huh, that's actually a really smart design choice from the comic artists. Kudos.
