This question has a darker tone so I hope you don't mind. Shu has shown his sadistic and violent side with Callista? I mean, you know, during the full moon.

I love dark questions ~ I make it a point to try to keep my stories as close to something canonically possible as I can!

Also, I am so sorry this took me forever dear Anon. Summer Term started up and I am swamped! I didn't want to half-ass your question, so thank you for your patients.

So, what is in a Full Moon? What exactly happens to vampires during this time? From what we know, they become more aggressive. Blood thirsty. Vampire's powers are amplified with the moon.

What about other demons? Do they feel such things when the moon is full? Or does the moon affect them at all? Personally, I like to think that each type of demon has some kind of reaction to a natural force. Adler's (being of German language) should then have something that they are linked to in this world. What that is - I do not know yet. Something I will be looking into.

For the time being, you are asking if/when Shu shows his sadistic side to Callista. In the short version, yes. They are intended to be married, and as such, spend a long time together - eternity even. So, at some point this side of him would no doubt come to the surface.

In their courting stage, I am going to say that it does not - as Shu has matured since the days of the cannon. While his more sadistic side had not vanished, he has learned better than to simply lash out with it. Not to mention, Callista is not a human. She is not something for him to toy with - like a human would be.

When it does happen, I like to think it is in the midst of Shu taking over the throne. Perhaps just before the battle with Karlheinz. The two of them have been rather tense with one another as of late. Shu and Reiji both decided that it would be best NOT to tell Callista of their plan to over throw Karl - and so, she has no idea why Shu has been so busy lately.

This would definitely be the first time Calli would see some real emotion from Shu. Up until that point it was always somewhat fake, simply a duty he needed to fulfill. On this night they would be emotionally connected for the first time. Shu attempting to belittle her, but Callista not backing down from it.

I think, although violent, the night would ultimately do good for the two of them. After it all cooled down Callista would be in on the plan and things would be able to go that much smoother.
