Reading the story multiple times,the title really made me blushed and squealed 😣💕 And no,no,no! Please don't redo anything 🙏🏼❤ It's as perfect as perfect can be. I actually felt sorry for you that you did both bank & home robbery in the same fic cause double the work. But being the talented writer that you are,you managed to fit both of them in the same story and made it work and both of them fall perfectly into the context of the story. My brain could never lol. I would be sad if you redo it 😢 IT'S ONE OF THE MOST PERFECT THINGS I'VE EVER READ. And I'm glad to know that you wanted to do both instead of feeling pressured to do it and it would be a lot to write BUT OMG! You did it anyway! 😳 And in what,2 days? Have I told you you're talented? Probably a millionth times by now but you are so damn talented 🤯 Small World is ONE OF THE MOST PERFECT PIECE I'VE EVER READ AND YOU WROTE IT IN 2 DAYS?! Now about the story,I'm blushing! I'm blushing hard reading it,okay? ☺😳😭 It's so hot! Small World Bucky is seriously hot 🔥 He's just the right amount of soft and mean 😣💕 I'm in love with him! ❤😭 He doesn't even feel guilty at all that he took her,didn't he? For everything he did to her. And yet,I still feel sad when he got caught & taken away from reader while precious innocent little reader just waits for him to come home as usual (like a good little wife already) but he didn't 😭 My heart breaks reading how soft he's being with reader after he robbed (ha) her of her virginity,how he offered to be the breadwinner for them both (I know I requested this but it's still so cute seeing it come to life with your writings) & imagining their domestic life together afterwards- 🥺😭 I have a few headcanons of their domestic life together such as how excited Bucky was when he got his first paycheck from his new honest job because he wanted to treat his sweet little future wife as his new improved self to something nice,even as he's saving for that diamond ring he promised her. Or at least tried to because I can see reader refusing to let him treat her,because she only needs her Daddy's attention everyday,making Bucky's heart swelled for her more and refused harder to ever let her go. The second headcanon would be the kind of job he got. I imagine this soft dark robber Bucky would probably go for a job requires a lot of physical,so I imagined a construction worker or mechanic? Stereotypical,I know 😂 Again,I'm lame like that 😅 Idk if either of those paid well tho. Or is it a blue collar job? In an office? Because robber Bucky probably need intelligence or maybe know how to hack a bit here & there. Or maybe a security job? The third is the dates they go to. I know you wrote that Bucky excuses her out of her outdoor obligations which I understood to mean that he asked (demanded to quit her job) but since he improved himself,wants a marriage and the normal/regular domestic life with her (with the added dd/lg elements to it) that most couples have,he probably takes her out on dates as a start,right? It's not like she's gonna run away anyway,she's way in too deep in the stockholm syndrome and he's 100% aware of this. She doesn't even realize she's his captive this whole time. Ofc,this would be as months passed where they grew closer and reader starts to fall for him. Imagine they went on a carnival date where Bucky tries to win her a stuffie friend for Kiki,I could cry just imagining it 😭 The calm before the storm 😭💔

I can't hate Bucky at all in this. I just can't. He's so lovable even in his own fucked up ways. And may I add,roguely charming 💘🖤 Oh and funny too. I giggled at that scene where his cock kept sliding off and he just giggled and called her pussy a brat that needs taming 💀 Like the whole thing is a joking matter to him while Reader's fearing for her life lmao. There's so many things I can list off about this Bucky. You fleshed him out so well and so hauntingly beautiful,especially in his obssession with reader. And his determination to get her back no matter what. I can't imagine him going about his day working while daydreaming about coming home to his future wife like he usually does everyday and only to have a bunch of authorities showing up and seizing him (or worse,tackling him to the ground) and not letting him come home that day after all. Omg,I'm sobbing..... 😭 Seems like he misunderstood that reader's the one that reported him or maybe he has that paranoia lingering everyday during their domestic phase together that she one day would report him & escape him. He must've felt some kind of betrayal & held some kind of grudge for reader for thinking that she reported him while he's locked up in jail for some time while being perfectly aware that he's the one started all this in the first place 😂 Did he feel some kind of guilt at all? He let her come to the realization of everything and just let her speak while emotion passes over his face for a brief second. Is it guilt or is it because she realized and finally shook off her stockholm syndrome? That he's afraid she won't be compliant as before? That he would have a harder time to have that normal domestic couple life with her again now that she's fully aware that their domestic life together before wasn't just that,it was also him keeping her captive? I think it's the latter,I don't think he feels guilty and regrets anything he did to reader at all,he went to get her back after all. Reader definitely still loves him even after she realizes,she's not even putting up a fight and just let him take her,again. He'll cling to her for sure and will never let her out of his sight again in fear she would be taken away from him for a third time. Maybe they'll both cling to each other because Reader just misses him as much as he does her. Oh,he's definitely finally getting that diamond ring he promised her this time so she's truly his in name now. I can't tell where he would bring her to live this time tho to be off the radar and not getting caught by the police again.

Oh,can I also talk about the psychological aspect you smoothly incorporated into the story? It's genius! 🙌🏼 You're brilliant! 🙇🏻‍♀️ And heartbreaking on Bucky's part 🥲 Where she doesn't seem to remember him for a second Where her brain is trying to supress her memories of him and their time together because of that therapy since she took a while for everything to come back to her. She doesn't even remember his name or his face when Bucky pushed her to remember him 😭 I'M CRYING 😭😭😭 Man,that therapist must've been really good OMG. She literally NEEDED to see HIS FACE to finally remember EVERYTHING. To finally remember him. He was a bit mean with her at the bank but I can feel his heart breaking into a million pieces when Reader said "I don't know!". Which is another reason why I don't think this Bucky is dark DARK or outright fully mean. He's soft dark for sure. I don't think he really meant it when he said he's gonna cut her tongue out. I took it as he was just really angry and said it as an empty threat that he won't actually carry out because he still thought she reported him,went to therapy on her own and willingly made herself not remember him,willingly erase or suppress him from her memories. The way he did it is not gentle but I still felt my heart clench when he kept pushing her to just remember him by demanding her to say it's him while he roughfucks her. That part is angst to me,can I count that as angst? I feel like I got Stockholm Syndrome too since I seriously felt pity for Small World Bucky & wanted to protect and defend him lmao 💀

Hi Chrys! Just curious - have you watched the Amazon WoT show? And if so, what did you think?

I'm on the fence about actually giving it a shot, but I only made it to book 7 or 8 before I just didn't have the time anymore. Thought maybe the show would do it justice??

Yes, I have!! And honestly I really, really like it, which I know isn’t a very popular opinion a lot of people have.

(Bc of potential spoilers for those who haven’t made it as far in the books—if anyone else who follows me is even reading them, lol—I’m putting the rest of my thoughts under the cut. Also bc I will probably have a lot to say.)

So, first off: I am all about soundtracks. Soundtracks are an element to storytelling you don’t really get in any other form of media other than, like, film and television. The stuff you watch. I’m obsessed with the one in WOT. It’s beautiful and a lot of the songs use the Old Tongue, which I think is so, so cool. (Caisen’shar is my favorite.)

One of my favorite scenes is in the second episode. I don’t want to spoil anything, so I won’t go into too much detail. That scene alone, though, is just… it’s gorgeous. It was one of my favorite parts of Eye of the World, and it is my favorite part of the show so far. I look it up on YouTube to watch it a lot because I love it so much :)

I absolutely do not blame you for not reading more of the books, haha. The series is long and to have made it through 7 or 8 is a lot of reading, and I’m really impressed! The length of the book series is another thing you have to consider, though. There a lot of story printed on those pages. It’s too much to feasibly adapt, even with a television series. There’s just so much.

Season one covers Eye of the World, but I think the plan is for them to do some condensing because of how long the book series is. Which honestly, I’m not very upset about. It gives you a chance to explore some elements of the story you already know, and to maybe experience other parts of it in an entirely new light. It’s what I’m most excited about with season two, whenever it’s released. I love the different ways the same story can be told.

Also, I’m a huge Brandon Sanderson fan, who is the author that Robert Jordan’s wife (and editor) asked to help with finishing the series after he passed. Sanderson is also involved with the production of the Amazon series, and has talked about it on his podcast. He signed a deal that allows him to share his thoughts relatively freely, and he talks about how book-to-screen adaptations are on a sort of… spectrum. Some you can translate pretty easily to script and cameras, because they work that way. Some you just can’t, but you can reshape it in a way that is still faithful to the soul of the story.

That’s mostly where the WOT show falls. People who go into it expecting a perfect, scene-for-scene adaptation of the books are going to be disappointed, because it isn’t that. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, mind. It just isn’t a direct translation. But I’ve read all 14 books of the main series and the prequel (New Spring) and I think the Amazon series does a good job of knowing the limits it has on how much it can and can’t do, while still remaining faithful to the feel and soul of the story that makes Wheel of Time what it is.

That’s more where the WOT show falls. People who go into it expecting a perfect, scene-for-scene adaptation are going to be disappointed, because it isn’t that. That doesn’t immediately mean it’s bad, mind. It just isn’t a direct translation. I’ve read all 14 books and the prequel (New Spring) and I feel like the show still does a good job of capturing the feel and soul of what makes Wheel of Time what it is.

(Also, you can’t ask for a more perfect actress to play Moiraine. I am probably bias, but I think Rosamund Pike is another reason to give the show a try, if nothing else, haha 💙)

7. What element of writing do you struggle with most?

There are a lot of things about writing that I struggle with, honestly! I have a hard time crafting plots that have a solid 3- or 4-act structure, especially the climax and falling action portions. I love writing the build-up, not so much the denouement. At a certain point in the writing, it's like my brain just goes "Ok, but you've already decided how this ended, so it might as well be written" and leaves me to muddle through on my own. Coming up with the perfect ending line is the absolute worst.

The other biggest thing is just having time and energy to write. I switched jobs in the past year to a job that's a lot more demanding on my creative faculties, and even though it's not like I get to write fanfic at work (except for on my lunch breaks, lol), I do find that it makes it really hard for me to write on weekday evenings like I used to! I've had to switch to getting most of my writing done on weekends, which is why I've been producing fic a lot slower this year.

16. Any guilty pleasure trope(s)?

Ehh, I wouldn't say any of the tropes I enjoy are something I necessarily feel guilty about? I love a good smut fic (most of my bookmarks on Ao3 are smut, honestly, they're just mostly private bookmarks), and my latest iddy trope has been pining-while-fucking, which I didn't think I could make work for GaaLee, but I managed to! I would read a million pining-while-fucking fics, lol. It hurts so good.

26. Is there anything you want to write, but you've been too scared to try?

In the past year, I've definitely gone more outside my comfort zone with writing stuff that I was nervous about writing. I've branched out into smut categories I never thought I'd touch, for example, and I've been more willing to experience with genre and style.

I'm working on an A/B/O fic as part of the Naruto Big Bang, which is definitely a trope I've never written before and something I was apprehensive about approaching because it's a trope I myself am very picky about reading. Plus it can go in a very non-con direction really quickly. But so far I've hewed very unconventional with the dynamic and I'm having a lot of fun writing it (even if the document title right now is "oh god why am i doing this").

There is one fic that's been marinating in my "Ideas" list since like 2017 or 2018 that's about Lee realizing after Gai-sensei's inglorious death that the shinobi system is deeply corrupt and needs to be reformed and partnering with Gaara to do that, but I just don't think I have the plot skills or political savvy to write it in a way that's convincing. I would get deep into the weeds and probably not enjoy writing it much. It's more a story I want to exist in the world than one I necessarily want to write, I guess.

I am enjoying the story, Mimi! I initially set out to wait until you posted all and then binge read, but I couldn't help it. I'm currently on summer break from school, and have lots of time. But also, I realized you're posting every 3 to 4 days (like OMG thank you!), and then learning you write everything in one go fueled me to support you as you're releasing each chapter! You've worked so hard and we need to return the favor!

Okay on to my thoughts. I usually can separate the character of Jin in fiction from real life Jin, so that's definitely not a problem. But I definitely love how I as a reader don't have to start from a blank canvas because we all have a certain idea of Jin already, and then the stories build from there. You do a great job at building the character, the world, the conflict, the resolution, and manage to do it with so much depth and build in lessons that are just perfect.

I love the way you incorporated the dead stars element. Gosh it was beautiful, and poetic.

I was initially frustrated with Jin's character because he is fickle. He isn't being fair to Seri. But then the cliffhanger where he goes to see Seri to break things off... he finally made a choice. I'm like good, finally, make a CHOICE even if it hurts someone, just stop prolonging it. I'm left with the lingering question of will OC reciprocate right away? I see her in the future feeling immensely bad for being a homewrecker because she already does feel bad and they're only "faking" it. I do wonder what Seri will do/say in the next chapter tho! We haven't heard much from her except to say she is fine with the whole arrangement.

The cliffhangers are welcomed because I have learned to read multiple fics at the same time so I'm not yearning so much for the next chapter of a story LOL.

I never saw Seri or Namjoon as the villain either... I saw complexity. Complexity that waits to be unraveled by our characters. I see Namjoon as lofty and a free spirit. Seri, I don't know her well enough to judge her except that she was okay with being a secret for five years :( which makes me sad. There is an element of filial piety with OC and Jin that I see. I also think when you're taking on a new role running a huge corporation you don't have much time for building a relationship. It's like Seri was the starter wife (sorry to sound crude!), but that's not to say that she didn't mean anything to Jin and vice versa. I'm waiting for him and her to explain things tho. Okay, that's it for now.

I'm sure I missed a lot of things in this but I just wanted to offer you something in the form of feedback because you deserve to know that there are those who are thinking of your story, and reading them!

Wahhhh this was so lovely to read 🥹🥹 feedback lets me know if there’s something else to tweak or clarify in the next chapters hehe and I tend to be a little protective of my characters and want readers to understand their humanness and complexity. I like that word and you described it well. Even if we only hear bits and pieces of Namjoon and Seri, I think there’s enough for us to understand them a little and their own desires (we’ll know more about Seri in chapter 7!) and how those affect our main characters, too.

And yes, about Jin. I wanted to show the juxtaposition of professional Jin and personal Jin and how they’re so different. There are things people lose in the midst of becoming successful and working for the good graces of their families; we can see that with both Jin and OC. And you do know OC well 😉 but I can assure you that more will happen involving all our characters and I’m excited to know how you think!

We watched the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Sitcoms are really comfy to marathon through, perfect shows to smoke to if they can consistently be entertaining. I was quite surprised that Smack and Smokey could hold my interest so well, because as a kid, I irrationally did not like the show from afar. I thought, like most Disney shows, that it was a bit dumb of a premise and the main characters just seemed a little too marketable -- yeah even as a 10 year-old, I'd choose to not like things if they were too marketable-seeming. Wtf was wrong with me.

Anyway this show proved to be really charming and it'll be missed. The cast of characters are just so likeable and colorful, and the actors are awesome, you can tell they mostly enjoyed their characters and were probably having fun on set. This is a huge difference from the last Disney sitcom I watched, Hannah Montana, where you had a handful of quality actors burdened by Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus' performances. Dylan and Cole Sprouse are super talented and have a clear understanding of how sitcom humor works. The writing does really well with its cast and making every episode feel very full and fresh. The hotel setting is just perfect for a sitcom, you can come up with any reason to have weird characters on the show, plus you have both the elements of a family household AND a workplace environment organically grouped up, leading to a bunch of fun situations where the two settings crossover.

More than anything, they managed to make the show feel like a cartoon. It's sooooo easy to imagine the cast as animated characters, especially with that catchy intro that does a great job encapsulation the up-and-down chaos of the show. The actors put so much color behind their characters, and the situations themselves end up being wacky and weird without usually going overboard. There's just a couple of episodes that get REALLY wacky, but their inclusion feels nice as these extreme episodes that stand out with their gimmicks, like the Halloween episode or the episode they go to a parallel universe.

I ended up really enjoying a lot of the characters, it's hard to pick favorites. London and Maddie are girlfriends and there are so many little hints that suggest the writers wanted something between them.......... even if it was probably for the sake of male gaze. Beyond that, these are just two great characters; a total-airhead rich girl and the poor candy girl that works at her daddy's hotel. Mr Moesby is iconic here honestly, I love all the hotel staff and it's such a treat to get to see some of them brought up from the background. Norman the doorman and Irene the concierge, the cranky housekeeper, Skippy the night manager, the pool guy... god I really did like everyone except Arwin. And Arwin was... fine, but god his bits with Carrey were getting a bit too frequent. So often I felt like Carrey's actress was just fed up with the weird shit theyd put her through, but then again, that's also sort of Carrey's character, so maybe Im looking too deep into something that isnt there.

We didn't actually watch a lot of season one, so if I really wanted to, I suppose we could back in time and watch those that we skipped. But I enjoyed what was had. Season two is probably the best season of the series, and season three was fine, but has the issue that Ashley Tisdale was doing High School Musical 2 + 3 at the time, so they had to severely cut down Maddie's inclusion. This made for some awkward bits trying to fill in for her... but ultimately Im impressed they got as much out of Maddie as they did. The first several episodes have Maddie semi-involved, but I guess since she couldnt film alongside Zack and Cody easily, they set her scenes in a summer camp and had her interact via phone calls. Later on they squeeze her into some episodes as normal, but by that point, the series is already kinda done lol.

Anyway this was a cute show and I'd recommend it to anyone that specifically likes kid sitcoms lol. It aged pretty well and had a lot of charm. Uh we're currently testing the waters (heh) of Suite Life on Deck............ but........... yeah it's kind of immediately missing some of the original's charm, so I'm not holding my breath (heh).

What made you ship it? I think I found out they were getting a show before I saw endgame. I was like "what?" and then I was like "No, wait. This could work." and then I couldn't stop thinking about them. Then I saw endgame and they were already acting married in it and I was doomed.

What are your favourite things about the ship? I love the dynamic of this weirdo (hot) bird enthusiast being adored and pursued by this charming bad boy character. I love how they support each other in canon and I'm into their bickering dads thing.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? OK so there's all of the usual drama.. but I think there are enough sam fans out there making those points that I don't need to repeat it. Instead, imma go real niche:

There's this trend in fics to write bucky as retired or wanting to retire from superheroing. As far as I can tell this is in response to Infinity War, where he looks like he'd rather be doing anything else. But the thing is, in tfatws, it ends on the clear promise that Sam and bucky are going to be superheroing together from now on: they're partners. Moreover, the show goes out of its way to show Bucky helping people directly for the first time and finding it really rewarding - he wants to do this. So it's not canon compliant is my point. That's my controversial opinion.

But more specifically, a lot of these fics are just here is Bucky who is perfect going about his perfect day and oh look there's Sam. He's home, back from his nine to five job at the captain America factory. Like, they're just surreal and while that's funny for a bit it gets annoying after a while.

Who knows, this could be a thing (I sincerely doubt this will be a thing)

Despite not shipping it, do I have anything positive to say about it? Well, she's a hell of a get from Shinobi's point of view. Hmm... idk maybe he could help her relax, show her some stress free living? He's a party animal and lord knows she needs some time off.

Okay alright first of all

This is not your generic go-to netflix crime thriller if you are watching it with that intention everything is wrong with you

This Film is dark , not just dark but dark as hell which is filled with gore elements which also includes a multi layered story telling and the film is filled with a group of astonishing cast members and every one of them has a potential to carry the whole film on their shoulders with no hard work but just with grace and ease so these reasons altogether might have over hyped few people's expectations and i think that is the main reason why i am seeing some mixed reviews here and there online or maybe just because you started watching this film with a very wrong intent or wrong mind set like i said before and i am stressing this so much because of in my opinion this film is just perfect maybe there are flaws obviously every film will have flaws but i just couldn't see them ? Maybe because i am a big fan of tom holland i might be little biased but to me this film is top notch and this is a perfect film film

Now speaking about the cast & film overall

This is a very slow paced slow burning piece of art

It takes you to the places you can never think of mentally and it makes you feel completely lost in emotions by the end of the film making you numb

Antonio Campos is a fucking genius i love his way of story telling

He's honest , he knows what he is doing , he loves taking risks and he never fears when ever he goes out of the conventional film making style and i very much love how he connected every character in the film like i mean every character in the film is interconnected and if you remove any one character you will feel the void , disturbance and unbalance in the film.

Film lovers might argue with me or hate me for saying this but i feel this film is so much better than christine 👀🤝🏻 atleast to me ? And this is coming from a person who also loved it a lot

I cant speak about everyone in the film because this has such a long list of talented actors 😭 who rocked in the film i am only going to speak abt some of my favourite performances as of now i promise to speak about every other cast member and their performance in the later days coz i am very sure this is a film i am going to talk a lot from now and this is also a film that i am going to watch and enjoy in the future days

First TOM FUCKING HOLLAND

I have been seeing this dude's films even before the civil war where he played the spidey role and i always felt he was a very raw and potential actor since his childhood but after seeing him in civil war and spider man hoco its just impossible for me to not like him as an actor ? HE IS SO GOOD ON SCREEN and he makes you believe everything when ever he's on screen maybe its swinging from wall to wall or putting a donut or whatever into a guys mouth while kicking his ass and making it look bad ass af🔥 few might feel this are such a silly examples to say but to me this is about how tom brings a realistic approach to a scene and makes it good and i have always been a big fan of tom holland since spiderman hoco and this is nothing related to tdat but y'all might already know timothee was the second closest option of mcu to cast as spidey and tom grabbed that role ever since tom is just busy with mcu films and where as timothee had a incredible and unbelievable growth as an ACTOR for real to me that is stunning because he did it in such short of span and to me as fan of tom holland part of me was always loving him as spidey but a big heart of me felt a void and sad because tom is missing a lot of great opportunities which has a chance to showcase his real acting abilities which made me think what if timothee got the spidey role instead of tom? Maybe we would have seen a serious tom holland as an actor and this thought killed me everytime but everything happens for a reason and tom holland is undoubtedly the best spidey we have ever got and anyways when films like tdat happen many people realise and understand how great and how fucking incredible tom holland is as an actor and i love when everyone appreciate him for this !! It makes my heart very happy and this is the exact reason why this film is so personal and special to me

And speaking about his performance in the film he is just surreal and outstanding . The character that he played is a very complicated one not many relate to that character but every one can understand his emotions, actions and intentions in the film and all the credit goes to tom for bringing a life to that character and playing it in such a beautiful way listen to me very carefully when i am saying this not many actors from this generation can bring bundle of emotions at the same time in a same scene but tom holland does that with such an ease and i stg i am not exaggerating if you watch the film you will know what i mean !! My dude's been killing it since remember me and as an actor like i said in the Tenet Review he has matured a lot as an actor since good time and he played a very powerful and sick role in the film i am not gonna spoil it for others just go and watch the fucking film atleast for him he did a great job and i dont understand how the women and gays are dealing with him? Seriously even as a straight guy its hard for me to concentrate on the film or scenes where ever he's present because this asshole is so fucking hot and sexy 👉👈 The directors should either deglamorise him by making him fat or bald or just hide his face with prosthetic make up or sth just like how directors hide tom hardy's face in every film he's in 🙄. Now coming back to his performance its really hard to dominate him when ever he's on screen dude just want all the attention towards him , such a selfish actor huh

He played a very important and crucial role in the film he maynot have big screen time but we can totally feel his presence through out the film i think this one sentence explains how important his character is to the film and how well he potrayed the role and he's the only guy in the film who got an incredible character growth throughout his journey in the film

Harry Melling

It would be very unfair if i dont speak about harry's performance in tdat

DUDE KILLED IT . HE SCARED ME WITH HIS EMOTIONS AND EXPRESSIONS . He didn't even a play a negative role but he just added a lot of depth not only to his character but also the film with his intimidating portrayal

Sebastian stan

This is the most honest and a very raw performance from Sebastian stan so far ( i am saying this based on the films that i have seen of his ) i just wish he had more screen time thats the only thing that i didnt like in the film also there are so many blanks that needs to be filled about his character

Eliza Scanlen

I dont remember her from any film or tv series that i have seen before but she's outstanding in the film , the character doesnt have much something new to offer so i can't speak a lot for her but as far as the character concerned she did her best and her performance is a impressive one and many people are gonna love her .

Riley Keough

Unlike the previous films & tv series she's been in

This film gave her a very challenging role and she's the only women in the film who's been through ups and downs and has a very complicated but a impressive character growth with minimal limitations and dimensions

She was fabulous and incredible . It just stuns me how the character has begin and how it ended at the end

And special mention to jason clarke and the old couple who played grandparents ( kind of ) to Arvin Russel and lenora . Not all heroes wear the cape.

Finally despite the mention of god several times in the film this is not really about god at all its about the DEVIL , The DEMON that carries and plays a very pivotal role in the film you cannot see it but you can sense it and feel it

Its about the blind faith, its about the irreversible & inescapable fate . I really love how Antonio Campos has connected all the dots by the end of the film with a very impressive film making and with a steady gothic theme running till the end internally and i haven't completely finished the book ( The devil all the time ) but if anyone really wants to completely bring the book life they cannot do it in a single film it will take you atleast 4 or 5 tv series to do so but Antonio Campos did it with a single film and added a very deep meaning to the core of the film w/o deviating from the roots of the book & even touched the aspects like duality of a man and some of you grateful fucks are complaining about him

OBVIOUSLY films ard subjective but you all need to be more open about this film

In simple words please fucking watch this film guys 🤗❤

This one is not for everyone but everyone will have atleast a small aspect in the film that y'all are going to like / love / hate / discuss about.

The devil all the time is violent , brutal , honest and perfect in every possible way atleast to me and i really want you all to watch it if you're into such type of stuff

Remember No country for old men ? Now make it 10 times more violent but add some meaning to it with a realistic approach but more slow burning drama and a little bit of darkness ... now that is what The Devil all the time is .

hello! i know it's a bad idea to engage in any shipping discourse but for the sake of constructive criticism, i asked an sns shipper if she thinks there's atleast potential in ss if ever sakura had that capacity to stand up to sasuke and if she wasn't as much fixated on him during shipuuden and the war arc. i even brought up the wasted opportunity of sasuke vs sakura that was shown in the game. the sns shipper gave a very structured and well-versed answer and i do agree with some of her points. i'm not even anti-sns and i understand the support this ship gets. but this person really hates sakura. so her answer to my question if ss has potential is straight up NO. hate is an understatement. she explicitly said she DETESTS sakura and ss xD. granted, her hatred is valid since sakura's writing is very flawed and inconsistent. what i didn't like was when she said why am i trying to change sakura's personality (her standing up to sasuke whether physically or verbally) when "she's constantly on heat when he's around". gosh, i really wanted to retaliate here and say it's called freakin character development. i mean, that's what she's mainly hated for right? the fact that she's obsessed and a pushover when it comes to sasuke. having that change especially during the war arc doesn't mean she's out of character, it means development. but gah, sakura haters are really hard to argue with so i just stayed silent.

to briefly summarize, her main point of argumentation is that sakura was toxic to both naruto and sasuke. sasuke's relationship with naruto is more defined than whatever he had with sakura. she brought up ss's pt.1 moments and said that sasuke would do the same to naruto, if not even better. as for naruto's case, sakura was a mean bitch and was so unfair to him throughout the series. simply put, even if sns has questionable elements, they are more organic and healthy than sasusaku.

this got me thinking. between sasunarusasu and sasusaku, despite both having toxic elements, i think the reason why there are relatively more sns shippers is because there's balance. compared to sakura, sasuke has shown more consideration towards naruto and we all know naruto cares for sasuke just as much and he isn't afraid to stand up to this guy.

idk what i'm even trying to ask here. i guess i'm just ranting lol. i've always seen your comments in youtube vids defending sakura and ss and i know you have an extensive knowledge of the naruto manga in general. you could only imagine how shocked i am when i found out you're a male. it's really rare to find someone like you. :)

anyways, i just feel so disappointed and pressed lmao. ss shippers couldn't catch a break from haters. like yea, some of us know it has shit writing in the canon and explanations regarding their relationship in the series is very limited. i already accepted the fact that they are underdeveloped and was borderline toxic. but then, between kishimoto's pitiful inability to write female characters properly and SP's biased treatment towards sasusaku plus the manga's main narrative focusing on naruto and sasuke, i just feel like it's kinda unfair for antis to shit on ss shippers when in reality, most of us just hold onto it because of nostalgia. most sasusaku shippers came to be when they were very young. i even found comments saying they started shipping them when they were 6 or 7. in my case, i was 12 lol.

it's kinda unfair since sns has the upperhand bcoz the series is mainly about them. naruhina has retcons and SP and what does ss have? small pt.1 moments, headcanons, fanons and to top it off SP's biased ass shitting on it. the ss fandom isn't perfect and has its fair share of immature stans as well, but i'm still glad that didn't stop authors and artists from making content. ss has got some of the best fanfictions, fanarts and doujinshis. i just wished antis won't attack them as much.

anyways, i'm not even asking a specific question. i just ranted. i just needed to get this out of my system. sorry for that 😅

Hey! It's been a long while since I got asks like this lol! Once tumblr went all anti-nsfw a few years ago, we all kinda migrated to Twitter for our SS/Anime cravings tbh but I'm glad and flattered you decided to ask me on my thoughts! :)

I won't write long as again, tbh, I'm kinda retired from debating/arguing with antis on things of SS/Naruto/Etc (unless I'm simply too triggered to let it go lol. You've already probably seen my long Sakura video so I won't go too much into details of what I already covered with Sakura's character. But to answer you, I'll keep it to the point.

It's ok of course to say Kishi's writing is flawed, I mean he is human and we know Naruto has holes. Every manga/story does of course. When it comes to SS, I personally bring it to this: Sasuke and Naruto's relationship is NOT Sasuke and Sakura's relationship. And that's (imo) ok. Sasuke and Naruto obviously have a bond only they have. Both lonely and orphaned, rivals with each other, haters to brother, you know it all. But Sakura is different. She's simply a normal, head-strong and caring girl. Kishi wanted to write a normal girl, and he did a darn well good job, because just like normal girls (or people in general), they're imperfect. That's why she first appealed to me.

Anyway, to the point, SS is pretty easy to follow. Sakura likes Sasuke....what's the problem? Where's the toxicity, lol. Sure she fangirls over him as a 12 year old girl, but again, Sakura is normal. Most girls I knew that age did the same thing. Most BOYS I knew were super...*cough* ready to be with girls (*cough cough*, puberty, everyone, *cough*). Sasuke is cool and confident. Sakura lacked confidence, so naturally she was drawn to Sasuke. Sasuke at first found her annoying (as he did with Naruto too) but as the became a team, she bonded. SS' bond is NOT NSN's bond. SS's bond is built upon a simply caring basis. Sakura always cared for Sasuke, and Sasuke always was protective of Sakura. Forest of Death, Sand Invasion, etc...add in the angst of Shippuden (nobody can tell me one was better than the other during Shippuden, Sasuke was 'bout to axe everyone while in darkness lol), blank period bonding, and then Boruto. There it is in SIMPLE terms.

As far as "standing up" to Sasuke...not sure where this person is coming from....again, NSN is NOT SS....Sakura has stood up to Sasuke at times. In the FOD where she indirectly called him a coward, when she pleaded with him to not fight in the Prelims and threatened to tell the proctors of the curse mark, trying to stop him from leaving Konoha., etc. If she was a "doormat", she would have said "Ok Sauske, you do whatever you want, it's all ok my love!" That was chapter 3 Sakura. A LOT of haters can't move beyond that chapter tbh...moving on. The main thing is, she wasn't STRONG enough to stop him by FORCE. She wasn't written to. Sure I woulda liked some angsty moments of them fighting, TRUST ME, you already know. But Kishi wanted the fighting to mostly be between Naruto and Sasuke, as most battle Shonen go. It's Goku and Vegeta, Deku and Bakugou, you name it. She was written to LOVE him unconditionally. And despite Kishi's misses here and here, it's clear as day to many people that they do indeed, love each other. Sarada is a product of years of redemption, forgiveness, and understanding between SS (which is....literally some of the themes of Naruto....Zabuza...Haku...Gaara...Pein...Obito....list goes on...).

And of course Naruto and Sasuke's relationship got more spotlight. They're essentially the Shonen "duo" like I explained before with Goku and Vegeta. It's a common tope which can be a bit annoying imo since other characters get shafted, but they're gonna be seen more by the public. At the end of the day, Kishi modeled NSN after his relationship with his BROTHER....that was one of Naruto's main story plots. AGAIN, OF COURSE it's gonna be pushed and seem like it's more "balanced"...it's a battle Shonen, not a love story lol. The love stuff is sprinkled in. This isn't a Shojo. If it was, SS would be the main focus (or...I guess NSN if Kishi WANTED to go that route).

So to finish off, you're right with the SP thing. But it can't be helped. If people wanna say NSN has more "development", let them. At the end of the day, they're shown more to the viewers because they're the Goku and Vegeta of Naruto. They push the narrative, not a romance. They're Kishi's go-to boys. They're the essential main character and rival. It's nothing new. But you know what else? They're. NOT. A. COUPLE. SasuSaku is, and again, romance is SPRINKLED in. It's N O T a Shojo and not the main focus. Honestly...the arguments that NSN shipper used are a bit weak knowing full well that SNS represent Kishi's brother and himself.

I mean...tldr, I could just say "Kishi and his bro are Naruto and Sasuke. SO nah bro, NSN has no romantic development. I wasn't meant to lol."
