Doesn’t William seem off to you? Like more than feral Dave. I mean Davetrap was clingy and obsessive, even more than regular Dave, William doesn’t seem at all interested. Plus he’s a different shade to Dave and has different eyes. He also, no offence to Dave, seems SMARTER. Like he knows what he’s doing beating you, and let’s be honest Davetrap was the dumber of the two Daves. It smells fishy in a way lizard men usually aren’t.

Jack: I just realized that we haven't ever explained illusion disks... I'm not sure how they work but you can't seriously think that both Dave and I are able to hide all that rotting with JUST concealer, right? I need both the paint and the disk to do this.

Jack: ...I am glad that I only have one overprotective eggplant to deal with instead of TWO of them, though.

Dave, who is now calm again (thankfully): Ehhh... I'll fully explain the disks later if it's ever important. But the basics are that they work differently when being used on a human rather than an animatronic, are solar powered, and are so annoying to Fazbender's that they specifically designed a program that was added to Gen 2 and 3 Phoneys which lets them see through it. I designed and made 'em myself, after uh... I started rotting after my first springlock failure.

Dave: Also, William's eyes are actually normal. Mine are supposed to look like his, but the disk makes them look like this to you instead. Dunno why his isn't doing the same. Maybe his is just malfunctioning, causing a different shade of purple and his eyes to not be changed as well.
