if I was the dragon age developers and I just finished writing my 1,043,424th flag to keep the worldstate of the game consistent after all the 100 branching paths the story took since origins, I would be desperately looking for a way to reset the game board and destroy the world so that I could restart without having to deal with decisions developers made more than a decade ago

#especially when the fandom throws hissy fits about not every 21342342353453466 version of the story being perfect and thought of #Dragon Age #I can't imagine writing a fifth branching path game in a row #I feel like there was a reason mass effect was only a trilogy lol #don't mind me it's just 10pm so it's time for me to think about how Solas is going to be successful in his task #or something equally world-ending will happen #because anything else will retread Inquisition with the 'we have to stop the bad guy oh wow we did it whooweee'
