Setting boundaries and disappointing people is stressful. My roomie ran out of it weed like a week ago and he's not having it. Been pressuring me to get something but I lost the dealer's phone number (or one of my parts deleted it on purpose idk) and the other person I've been getting my weed from doesn't want to go get some (which is understandable because it'd be a three hours walk for him). My roomie's in a bad mood because of it (and I fear he thinks me losing the number is an excuse). But I gotta tell myself it's okay to dissapoint people.

I remind myself how I would have reacted in the same situation. I wouldn't be mad or think badly of the other person. And if my roommate thinks badly of me now, that'd be on him not me.

A/N: Starting of short for Niko, then full fics I promise! Gotta write for my boy Niko, can't believe I've neglected him 😔😔

DUMB EXCUSES FOR HOLDING YOUR HAND

Honestly you don't know when he decided to start holding your hand all the time, you haven't even started dating when you did.

"Your hand looks heavy let me hold it for you." was a classic excuse he would use with you. It was cheesy, yes, but it got you to hold hands with him regardless. Making him smile like a cutie.

When walking on the side walks he would hold your hand, just to "make sure no one tries to kidnap you on the side of the road"

He would also walk on the outer edge of the sidewalks as well while doing so.

When you did finally start dating, holding hands was one of his key agreements in the relationship.

Sitting beside each other? Holding hands. In the car driving? Holding hands. Well, one hand on the wheel the other with you ;)

STAYING CLOSE TO YOU IN A ROOM FULL OF PEOPLE

When you're at a party with the beta squad or filming a video, especially mafia. Niko always seems to be by your side.

Magically, always teleports to your side, and when you laugh, you automatically clutch someone's arm next to you. And Niko wanted to be that person, so you best believe he's sitting next to you or standing beside you.

And if you're at a party, he would definitely stay by your side. If any guys try to hit you up, he's scaring them away with 1. His height and 2. The fact that he can look intimidating when he wants to.

And it will kill the other guys ego off instantly and make him avoid you for the rest of the night.

Speaking of parties, if you didn't like them much and wanted to step outside for a bit of air. He would come with you, and he would make sure you had a good time, whether that would be going to eat somewhere or just staying under the moonlight in each others arms.

He would want you to be comfortable at all times.

BRUSHING HANDS UNDER THE TABLE

This is when you were dating because if you weren't, best believe Niko ain't getting much courage to do this.

He's a brave guy, but when it comes to you, you honestly take that courage away when you weren't dating, of course. But now that you are, he's gonna be impressing you left and right and "trying to be the bigger man." (Last part was in chunkz words)

Sometimes, if you both were at a gathering, when he was bored, he would take your hand and just draw on it with his finger to pass the time.

Or just squeeze your hand, signalling to you that he wanted to leave, but wanted to be discreet about it. So you would make up something awfully more important than this, to excuse both you and Niko and off you go, you've escaped the boredom!

I'll leave it to you to can guess where you end up ;)

DUMB EXCUSES FOR STEALING GLANCES

When you first met, he would've looked at you a lot. Most likely stunned by your beauty, and you would often catch him looking at you and then looking away faster when you caught him, almost always earning a small giggle from yourself.

If you're right next to him and caught him looking at you, he would come up with an excuse since he knew he wouldn't get away with saying nothing.

His excuses would either consist of violations:

"Oh, sorry, I just thought I saw a rat infestation right in front of me."

"Can I have the name of your hair salon? I need to know where not to go."

"You do a great job combing your hair. It’s impressive how you’re able to hide the receding hairline." "Yeah, I learnt it from you."

Or would consist of him stupidly denying it:

"Yeah, you're imagining things because I was just scratching my eye, and you happened to be in front of my view."

"I was looking behind you. Not at you." "Niko, you're behind me..."

I Shall Master this Family! is a rare princess story where the art is like, outrageously skilled, unique in its consistent level of detail, unreal historical fashion dedication, so much so that it successfully carries what's an overall mid story. You might notice that it's a mid story (I certainly have) but they throw you another sumptuous princess Guinevere sleeves and you're goaded into another chapter.

Normally this isn't enough. If anything I've found too good art highlights bad writing, thoughts wandering to how the artist(s) deserves better than the slog they're supporting.

But I'm stuck with this annoying isekai girl ignoring all the more emotionally intriguing subplots in favor of chapter upon chapter of isekai-based ego-stroking (can you believe this little kid came up with this brilliant business plan? Can you believe a 9yo identified the genius of a commoner? It's like she knows everything before it happens! Lay it on thicker!) because a) artist team that can conceptualize adults over 30??? b) artist team that draws old women??? Real ones???

b2) men too though it's more impressive that they drew a beard like they've actually seen a beard before. Old guys are common but distinguished and healthy looking ones less so

c) you can tell this is based on a historical fashion because nobody invents cultural male-garb unless they're meant to be eroticized. I can't think of another story where any real attention was put into what the guys are wearing unless cleavage was involved

I don't know if I even care for the fashion itself - that there's conspicuous effort into its portrayal puts it in a class of its own. Everyone else is satisfied with the certified male love interest paizuri shirts, cravats with medievallish suits, and generic npc peasantwear.

d) I don't know how many times I've given up on a comic because the artist had a fetish for blondes, making it nigh impossible to tell anyone apart. This story takes place in a Scots-inspired land, so a sizable chunk of the cast are redheads and the endless shades of red and curl textures never gets old. I like that blondes are still sort of gingery and shout out to the colorist for not being weak, blue-eyed apologist.

It came far too late but I finally understood why Shananet fell for this loser's act when he whipped out the brown/blonde puppy combo. Wish the writers were capable of juggling plots so we could have seen more of it.

I'll have to get into it in another post but the writing flaws are grating in a skill issue way, maybe too much ambition that should have been scaled back. For example writing men as being generally less substantial, more hysterical, while making women intelligent, well-rounded, characters with depth of various alliances only works if your story focuses on the latter. If you give me cold, calculating ice queen, I won't be satisfied with the plot spending more time on the dumbass loser 30-something eldest son throwing tantrums when his stupid plans fail. Likewise, how do you think it feels learning that the cool-headed, clever woman who gave up on potentially taking over the clan for a worldwind romance was played for a simp by her (quite obviously) less intelligent husband who doesn't even hide his seething hate for her family well? It makes everyone look like a clown. Writing structure crit imminent

It's a shame but unfortunately I like the way it looks too much to drop it😔

MLB Ship Tier

Marigami

ranks at the top because of the their interesting dynamic though they were off to a rocky start due to them being rivals for Adriens affection. I find their moments in the show to be funny, cute, and amusing. (They both enjoy drawing which would be a cute date) I also feel like Kagami would make a great candidate for Ladybugs partner. Shes smart, articulate, efficient, and determined to succeed. Marinette teaching Kagami how to be open with other people and herself, and Kagami teaching Marinette how to be more comfortable in her skin. One of my headcanons and theory is that while everyone may assume Kagami is the top in the relationship its actually marinette, another theory of mine is that Kagami is the top and Marinettes a bratty bottom but canonically they give me switch energy. However like other things and relationshis in the show its a shame how their interactions aren't explored more or touched upon beyond their liking to the same bland white guy (who doesn't deserve either)

Lukanette

This ship is a very sweet ship to me and one that I shipped awhile ago (when it was first introduced) I believe on of the many reasons Adrien stans and love square shippers hated Luka so much was because he did what Adrien couldn't. He's able to give Marinette actual good advice (*cough cough* Adrien take notes) Marinette is comfortable around him so we dokt get embarassing cringey 24/7 and......say it with me everyone

Boundaries.

Ur favorite white catboy is unable to respect his love interests boundaries? But Luka can? Awwww...too bad.

He doesn't push Marinette further than what she's comfortable with and many Adrien stans argue that this makes Luka "bland" (since when is respecting someone bland???) Other than that I like their interactions in Canon, I'm glad he's one of the very few people marinette can actually talk to and doesn't get embarassed around. It feels good to know she liked a guy and was actually able to talk to him. One of my most unpopular and controversial theories is that Luka would make a pretty decent deuteragonist. Seeing how the writers pretty much wrote Luka & Kagami off so they wouldn't tear the love square (they really weren't going to anyway) and broke up the only actual healthy romantic relationship Marinette had, (because Marinette can't have nice things, am I right?) I know for sure there's no reviving Lukanette despite this, it still makes the top of the list. RIP to a really good healthy relationship✊🏾😔

Chloedrien (fanon)

This ship surprisingly ranks high. I can see them together especially in fanon. But because the writers are incompetent in the progression department and development their Canon relationship is definitely lackluster. Chloe invades Adriens space, he's visibly uncomfortable (feel familiar?) Chloe complains about her "Adrikins" Yada Yada. However if the show were written differently and Chloe actually talked to Adrien in attempts to strengthen their friendship I can see a good relationship.

Fela

Not you....

You.

This ship only interests me friendship wise. I can't see Lila and Felix together as a couple in spite of the similar personalities manipulative, cunning, discreet, calucating, and sly. I see power imbalance, trying to outsmart and manipulate each other and both of them being unable to think of anyone but themselves. Which is why a friendly alliance between both anatognists suits better because I can see them easily challenging Marinette and Adrien.

Nialya

This Canon couple is pretty decent, the feelings are mutual and we see many episodes with both being concerned about the other one (which is cute) and the consistent normal interactions they have are okay I can definitely see Alya being the dominant one in the relationship.

Lukagami / fanon /

It fanonically works better due to reasons (I'll list for Canon version) but in fanon they work pretty okay. I can see like Marinette & Adrien they're supposed to be opposites despite them having few interactions in the show. It'd be nice see their different personalities communicate. I cant say too much abt them.

Fecloe

This pairing is a easy hit or miss. I can understand them relating to each other as far as their dysfunctional families but I see Chloé annoying Felix with ease. She'd be a childish distraction (i argue the same with her relationship with Lila) and Felix would break up her instantly Felix is the type to basically desensitize himself from any emotions and rationalizes everything. And Chloe already an insecure brat with a touch of entitlement and narcissism is the cherry on top of it all. And with the direction the writers are attempting to go with Felix (being a antihero and having a moral gray compass) I don't see him supporting Chloes unexplained Bullying (which is rlly annoying bc why exactly do we sill not know Chloes reason behind Bullying people especially Marinette for so long?) But yeah this is one of those pairs they could be alright acquaintances at best but....romantically no. And working together? Hell no.

Alyanette

It's already bad enough their friendship isn't healthy with alya not respecting marinettes feelings or boundaries actively going against marinettes wishes and attempting to get her and Adrien together (physically holding her hands in place likes thats totally ok) thinking she knows what's best for marinette than marinette herself and not even trusting Marinette enough to believe she wouldn't do certain things (but a girl u just met can be trusted?) The OOC writing these past seasons is so painful to watch it makes my ass itch. I can already see her being overbearing and domineering in the dynamic. In Canon their personalities complement well however I don't see the connection romantically

Chlila

This dynamic is better as close acquaintances who help each other sometimes. (Keep in mind sometimes) Like Chloes relationship with Felix the one with Lila is no different as she would clash with her constantly. I also feel like Lila's the more rational one with the plan and Chloe is more impulsive and dives into things for the fun of it. Automantucally making their motives contrast and their characters. Their relationship reminds me alot of Cleo and Torelai's relationship (Monster high) I believe seeing more interactions between the two would be fun.

Lukagami / Canon/

Ah yes, the love rivals who could've served as good development and plot progression but like everything else with this garbage dump of entertainment, they never met their full potential. I don't ship this ship because it feels more like a way to bring them further away from the Love Square and just a way for people to say "hey on the bright side everyone wins!" But luka and kagami deserve better than to be casted as plot devices , which it feels like than it does a actual genuine ship and the only time we really seem them interact directly is in Determination which was centered around Marinette & Adriens relationship (its almost like they said "Hey! Fuck any progress we almost made, let's right the characters completely OOC and inconsistent moving forward. Either way the ship could work....but with how the show is already written I wouldn't pair them as a couple canonically.

Lukzoe

This ship isn't bad it's cute however I wouldn't pair them together canonically or in fanon I like how the writers already have Zoe liking Marinette and I honestly like Luka and alot of other characters without a relationship because I feel like it isnt needed. Though I feel like their friendship would be amazing.

Feligami

A controversial Canon ship that I had to recheck to see if it was actually Canon before saying

What the hell.

This ship is another hit or miss and to be honest I feel like the writers knew that they'd have to write Kagami and Felix OOC for this pairing to work in the first place. The pairing feels like a cop out for Kagamis unresolved feelings for Adrien and the writers went "Oh yea! Let's pair her with Felix, Adrien's "evil" twin" who happens to look just like Adrien just is less "Nice" having the ability to stand up for what he actually believes in and for Felix....I cant see him in a relationship. He's one of those characters that I feel does really well solo (like Lila) when u add people in the bunch it mushes his characterization up. They decide to pair them up in Representation and the two get into a secret relationship. They pair Kagami with Felix guys. The same guy who SH Ladybug, wiped all of Paris out (except for 3 people), as if that wasn't bad enough they have them both conspire a plan to deceive Marinette (so much for being marinettes friend). Kagami defends her newfound boyfriend to Ladybug and Chat Noir in Pretension. I liked Kagami better single, it's almost as if she had "more" braincells that way.

Lilanette

Aside from the pair being abusive and toxic, their interactions as enemies canonically are interesting. I'm interested in knowing just how far Lila's willing to go with Marinette with her lies and deceit, thus shipping doesn't work as a couple undoubtedly because of how abusive it is and I can't see Lila caring abt Marinette as much as Marinette would Lila (if she werent a villain) Feels more like a cat and mouse dynamic.

Lilalya

Lila and Alya feel lackluster to me and Canon makes my feelings on them no better. Their relationship in the show doesnt even make the slightest bit of sense. Firstly I'll say in the beginning when we first meet Lila her lies are believable but as time goes by and seasons go on the lies get less and less convincing and Lila isn't seen as this smart evil genius (she wasnt even before just a manipulative insecure teenage girl who wants attention wherever she can get it because her caregiver(s) neglect her ) the class including Alya shouldn't even be this dense still after 5 seasons in, just shows u how bad the writers of this show are at writing a believable consistent storyline and characters. I feel like Lila would love bomb Alya until she squeezes all the juicy information and benefits she can get from her then hang Alya out to dry.

Adrigami

I wouldn't have much of a problem with this ship if it weren't for.......the one and only notorious bland...blonde....the Adrien Agreste (the main reason I also don't support the love square) While I see them understanding where they both come from, I honestly can't see a what Kagami seen in Adrien. He's blander than oatmeal, and is described as not just by the Fandom but the shows creator himself "this perfect, innocent, catboy whos sheltered from the world and needs protecting and sympathy all. the. time. boo hoo. Not only did he lie to Kagami, which led to the breakup, but he technically cheated on her. by harassing his partner Ladybug (who clearly tells him she doesn't like it almost.every. episode.) while in a relationship with Kagami. Them being together doesn't feel rewarding seeing how he has treated her and how he treats other female characters in the show in general, especially Ladybug/Marinette. She deserves a lot better than what Adrien has to offer, and so does Marinette.

The Love Square

Ah yes, saved the best for last, this quadrupled pair ranks lowest of all for many reasons, if u didn't know by now, now u know I hate the Love Square and the message it sends the audience. If it isn't Marinettes forced embarrassment and humiliation to cover for the writers blatant misogyny and racism because Marinettes character persecution is set up as the shows comedy go to and her struggles are made out for a "good laugh" because thats really funny Thomas.....haha. Then theres Adriens problematic creepy predatory harassment towards Ladybug that's seen as generally "ok!" And cute and romantic *kiss kiss* he does as Chat Noir bc no one knows whos under the mask leaving him to get away scots free the general message it sends is its okay to keep harassing the target of your affections with enough determination and charisma added with a sob story you'll get them in the end. Doesn't matter if they're visibly uncomfortable or disgusted doesn't matter if they vocally say they don't reciprocate ur feelings all u gotta do is Try try try again!

Let's not even get started with how bad Adrien's jealousy gets....

Right.

He gets antsy whenever he sees a new Temp helping LB out as if he actually helps her in a major way anyway. He refuses to help her when she declines his romantic offers and grows really petty, snarky & sarcastic when things generally don't go his way with her. He doesn't take his job serious enough to even have his spot as a permanent miraculous holder and not to mention one of the most powerful miraculous there is "misusing the miraculous many and multiple times, making corny embarrassing puns and failed flirtations during battle essentially distracting Ladybug making her job harder. I honestly don't think it'd be much of a difference if he weren't chat noir.

Not to mention the double standard that exists between Marinette and Adrien in general

Marinettes' actions while problematic are checked in the show like her exaggerated obsessiveness, jealousy tendency, impulsive issues, and awkwardness around Adrien (and by many fans, sometimes to the point of bashing and purposely highlighting what has already been established) Adriens are all glossed over and we're expected to feel sorry for him. His dad abuses him and his mommy is nowhere to be found so now the writers use our female protagonist as emotional support when she herself needs emotional support. The writers are so bad at writing they can't even make the main couple communicate clearly and simply ever. Thomas himself goes out of his way to say to the world "Adrien is not flawed, the world is" yet his stans have the audacity to say mArinEtTes mOre Of a MarY sUe thAn He iS!. Her jealousy is called out but Chat Noirs is swept under the rug and is seen as her responsibility. Let's not mention how literally every female character that has had interest in Adrien has been pitted against Marinette but Luka, Nathaniel, and Adrien coexist just fine in kumbaya because remember kids

"Girls are spiteful petty backstabbing and catty while boys are practically angels who see each other as /bros/"

While also saying in the same breath this show is all about "girl empowerment " but has the white male deuteragonist harass, abuse, and manipulate our biracial female protagonist for 5 seasons straight, right?

WcWd: This OC I introduced but refused to elaborate on a couple weeks ago

I should start by introducing him: his name is E'lim! I chose it because it sounded partially like "Eli" with a bit of the word "limb" mixed in. TBH I just mash random syllables together when coming up with names (this was moreso the case back when E'lim here was made, but that's still part of my naming process sometimes)

I mentioned that he usually wears a more plain attire when he appeared two Wednesdays ago. Well, turns out that I never settled on consistent shoes, either. Here's a couple more pixel art drawings I found of him:

There's quite a few more (probably unfinished) drawings of this fella hidden within the containers for nigh every medium I used around 2019-2021. After that? Not sure what happened, but suddenly I didn't like him. Like, I think he'd be more appealing as a character if his arms were noodley but I always drew them so stiff as though they had bones and it looked weird.

Looking back, I didn't have a good enough grasp of how to make this type of character: noodley limbs that definitely don't connect to the rest of the body in an anatomically correct way, oversized shoes that will inevitably result in cursed imagery if taken off, gloves that are likewise over-inflated and never to be removed... huh maybe I should do a character design study on Sonic characters

I also constantly gave him that stupid-looking smile. It reminds me of the Dreamworks face meme now and I hate it. Now, if I were to redesign this guy? I'd embrace the fact that he's supposed to be stylized, and NOT worry about whether or not he appears to have bones because it seems like that's exactly what I did every single time I drew him and, poor guy, that's not a good look for him 😔

...I wanted to end the post with that paragraph, but then I started typing up the other two-thirds of this post in the hashtags. So here's my rant about the canvas sizes: the "Halloween" one was WAAAY too big for starters. There was this whole era of my drawings where I wanted to be able to capture the details that other mediums offer, but I also didn't want to use other mediums because pixel art was what I was best at. I ended up just taking an unnecessarily long time on massive pixel art canvases, all because I had concerns about working in a software like ibisPaint or Procreate. "Pixel art doesn't require brushes, so how would I know which brush to use?" "What on earth is a 'blending mode'?" "I can't draw a straight line for the life of me, and you want me to add weight to them now??" I'm pretty sure most self-taught artists have struggles like those, though; I was just a bit late to it because learning those things wasn't needed in my pixel artist skillset, oddly enough

Anyway. Those two drawings of E'lim with a clipboard are actually some of the last I made, both of him and in oversized pixel art. You might can tell that I was beginning to address all of the problems I've brought up in this post already; the scale on it is smaller than the Halloween drawing, and the face isn't just a widened smile peering directly into the viewer's soul. Regardless I still wasn't proud of how he kept turning out in my drawings (and also didn't fit into my shifting ideas for worldbuilding) so I lost interest in drawing him and he fell out of being one of my main OCs.

8. If you have any, what are your special interests?

i have a strong special interest in miniatures as in those really teeny tiny things that look like common objects like chairs or books or cookware. even better if the thing is made of realistic materials or actually functional like these one miniature playing cards i have that are an actual full deck you could quite literally play a card game with. they are actually sooooo cool. i also love dollhouses (esp calico critters bc they're so detailed) and miniature scenes.

i also enjoy dancing and choreography as well as watching people act. performance arts are very fun for me as they are both entertaining to watch and be a part of. i also love to imitate it just for fun.

i also enjoy art and its history as well as the process of game development and story building. reading and writing are also tons of fun for me. media analysis is very fun to me too as i find it fun to both consume a story and break things down about it to analyze and consider different perspectives on and i especially love talking to people about them.

psychology and behavioral studies are also very interesting to me. i love to consider the multiple possibilities of something in accordance to the circumstances that someone finds themselves in and i find human development fascinating. i also loveeeed science as a kid especially animal science and botany but in general i always found everything about it fascinating.

there's more like specific special interests i have but i can't think of them right now…. i know there's definitely media i'm interested in in regards to shows and games too but people usually mean more general things in regards to special interests than say the games that i like or something lol. but i still think they can be considered special interests too :) tho most the time i call those hyperfixations as i have adhd too but tbh they overlap most the time.

i want to say probably stuffed animals and maybe cats and hamsters. i had and have many stuffed animals still as i always felt like i needed more little buddies to be my companions with. i also for a time remember being really really obsessed with this pumpkin i got to decorate in kindergarten and i was always writing about it in my little daily journal that they had us do until it unfortunately rotted and i had to throw it away. i remember the little drawings i did of it though with orange crayola markers but sadly i don't know if we have the journals anymore 😔😔

oh for sure!!!

when it comes to hattytime i believe quite a few of the characters are autistic, namely bow kid, hat kid, snatcher and conductor. they all have a certain vibe to them that gives me the impression that they are. though i'm sure if i thought about it enough, i could most definitely see many of the others as autistic too.

bow and hat also appear to have selective mutism, which is a trait that i share with them myself so i always found that to be the one clue to that. they also appear to both be very analytical about their approach to things and seem to have respective fixations in regards to their manner of dressing, where hat kid seems to like more simple and loose, flowy, comfy clothes and bow kid seems to like more decorated styles of dress and i think that is a part of how they express themselves. not to mention i always saw some of their idle animations as a stim of some kind.

snatcher it's hard to explain exactly but i feel like with how consistent he is in his social interactions and desire to be left alone gives me the impression that he is autistic. he also seems to have a special interest in reading and studying things, even the subcon time rift cluing to a possible interest in science and experimentation. he also seems to share kind of a lack of social understanding especially when he was still the prince and how he's portrayed within the storybook not quite understanding why vanessa was so upset with him. also, the way he has a default stance that he stands in with his hands clasped, something that i often find myself doing too in finding a very comfortable position to be standing in.

conductor i find to be autistic as well just because of his special interests in movies and his train. he also has a similar way of standing in a default way with his hands behind his back or fidgeting constantly as a form of stim. he also seems to struggle a lot in social settings and comes off very direct and blunt and seems to struggle a lot with emotional regulation. it's just very obvious to me that he's autistic. i also think on top of his autism he has a form of ocd too, something that is comorbid with autism.

i think maybe grooves i could argue similarly that he could be autistic too? but i'm not sure because i hadn't really considered it but i'm open to the idea of course ❤️ :) though i mostly considered his to some anxiety disorder or adhd explaining his behavior but i could also see him being a bit autistic .

outside from hattytime tho, i believe max caulfield from life is strange to be autistic. she shares the same traits that i personally do and has a special interest in photography. it's also possible that chloe also is too just by how she interacts with the world and how she had a special interest in science.

when it comes to mgs, i believe naked snake/big boss and the other snakes to all be very autistic. they all seem to have their respective interests and just how they interact with others socially and romantically really gives me the impression that they are. i want to argue possibly that revolver ocelot and some the cobra unit are definitely autistic too. also otacon and the rest of his family for sure given me the impression that they are too.

from toh, i know that i definitely like to think of gus and luz as having autism. luz of course adhd and autism at the same time and gus i think is very much autistic. i don't often have many hcs for the toh characters but just solely based on vibes.

rena ryuugu, rika furude and satoko houjou from higurashi i also believe to be autistic and it's solely based on how their personalities come across and their means of expressing themselves.

i'm sure though if i went through the many other medias that i enjoy and made a list i would be able to point out characters in each one who i believe to be autistic but ough this list has gotten very long as is. thank you so much for asking though!!!!!!! ❤️

Yeeeaaahh Adaman’s going through it 😔 I was also thinking that to free him from possession, the player/Rei or Askari would have to like, do something similar to the final Origin Dialga fight, just run away him and through stuff while he tries to laser beam you. And it think it’d be cool too if you could use your Pokémon to fight him in his hybrid form, since I feel robbed that we didn’t get to battle Mother Beast Lusamine in Pokémon Sun/Moon (Pokémon battle??? Nah I wanna get her with my Incineroar). I think he’d basically have the same abilities/attacks as Origin Dialga, but I also think it’d be cool if he had like a Roar of Time ability where he roars, and it makes time slow down or pick up around the player, which adds extra challenge!

ever think about coming back to rp?

So I've been Rping off and on in World of Warcraft and FF14 recently. Nothing as crazy consistent as it used to be, but I am slowly dipping my toes back in.

To be honest, it's pretty difficult for me to get into in the way I used to for a variety of reasons which I will now detail because it's 2am on a work night and I've been cursed with no sleep.

The first reason is pretty predictable: Logistics. I work a lot more than I used to and have a job that has a pretty demanding on call schedule when it's my turn to take it. I live in a timezone that's also always too late or too early for most events, especially since I work Saturdays.

Reason two is also pretty "Yeah that sounds like him." I have -really- bad ADHD, and I find it really difficult to do forum or discord RP. I like writing in longer sessions because it helps me 'get into character' and keeps my focus since I'm constantly engaged. I like... Don't like to use my phone a lot for fun at work either. So it just means I forget threads exist or completely lose interest because things are going too slow. A lot of my RP partners have taken it personally which I feel bad about. But it's never that I don't want to it's just... I like having dictated time and the bonus of having an in game model to pose like a doll is honestly very helpful for retaining my focus.

And the final reason I'm struggling to get back into it is a bit more arcane.

I've had a lot of really fun and good rp experiences, but also a lot of not so great ones. And I guess I'm just super world wary of groups these days. I don't feel... Welcome or like I fit in almost every group I join. Part of that is for sure a personal problem, but I think I've just come to terms I'm sort of an acquired taste type personality. Sometimes ya boy can't help but be extremely opinionated even if the room clearly won't vibe. It's something I'm working on so I'm less abrasive to others. But it's still difficult. Checking myself is only one of many variables. I'm afraid of being hurt or disappointed when a story I spent months on falls apart because the participants lose interest.

So I still have all these grand ideas and full ass character bibles for cunts I don't even draw/rp no more. I'm just too chicken shit to put myself out there.

Recently I found a cool guild in wow for now. Hopefully it stats chill. It's low key for the most part. However, can't lie... I wanna dm them rp events again. Idk how the fuck I just logged in and did that shit.

In short, Anon, I'm trying but I'm weak.

I'll always love rp and do it off and on. I do wish I had the enthusiasm for it like I used to 😔

Kind of a random question, but have you ever considered / done commissions? Whilst there's a character or two I'd love to see you draw, I'm curious. (And also broke. So I can't afford comms. But I'm curious!)

i have done them ... but i don't like doing them so it's not something i do for no reason. something has to be like Wrong. the reasons for that are complicated but it basically boils down to

i dont enjoy it very much

my hand/wrist is unreliable and i feel uncomfortable not being able to give clients an accurate estimate for turnaround time because at any given time my hands/wrists could simply Decide that it's time for a (possibly several weeks or even months long) delay

so it's like i appreciate it a lot when people are interested but i'm not likely to open them unless i'm cornered bc i just don't feel like i'm reliable or consistent enough... 😔

i don't really take requests either, but you're welcome to make a suggestion... i just won't promise i'll actually do it. depends if it catches my fancy. but sometimes people ARE right about characters i should draw. BHJGFJKMG

confession time bc i started this "drawing every day for a month" thing on instagram and i got halfway thru and then my anxiety about getting a job shot through the roof and i haven't been able to draw since 😭😭 and like ugh what do i even say bc i feel embarrassed that i can't even see my own challenge through 😔 but also damn i think my creativity is SO tied to how im feeling that it makes it hard to stay consistent when my life is so up and down...
