Little bit more Nem/Sym thinking because it’s a Treat to myself

Had some thoughts about the First Kiss today and like, there’s a bunch of ways one can make it adorable and sweet and thoughtful...

But like, considering that Sym wouldn’t make the first move because he wouldn’t wanna risk making Nem uncomfortable...

And Nem probably being like, neck deep in subconscious denial about any feelings she might have (and being kinda awkard abour romance to begin with)...

I think the funniest way to go about it would be Sportsball.

Like, last few seconds of a match. He sets her up and she makes the final goal, taking home the victory. Lotsa adrenaline and absolutely zero thoughts going on.

So she just leaps at him with a hug like you’d see in a football game under similar circumstances, except she lets the lizard brain take over a little bit too much and pulls him into a kiss.

In front of the entire colony.

So he is just in chock, and it takes her like two seconds to realize wtf she just did, probably blushing redder than her hair. But you know, they all just try to laugh it off.

Scene cut to Nem sitting on Sol’s couch, head in her hands like “Sol hepl” because now it’s getting a bit extra hard to deny any budding feels.

Meanwhile Sym is just trying to figure out what happened, humans sure are delightfully strange.
