this is my addition to the hermitcraft propaganda. this is focused at dsmp fans bc i am one.

hermitcraft is a long running smp that started in 2012. it runs in seasons, with each season lasting around a year, often just over. they are currently on season 8, and started fairly recently.

the players on hermitcraft tend to change each season, but i have compiled a list of who i think you might enjoy, based off of your favourite dsmp member!

(feel free to add ur own suggestions too!)

IF YOU LIKE... TOMMYINNIT-

MumboJumbo: have you got ADHD? do you love how tommyinnit says Things and other people get confused? well then MumboJumbo is the hermit for you! he's absolutely absurd. a spoon. he's also over 6ft tall and built like a brick shit house. insane. this man is an enigma. he's also a cinematographer. who even is this guy. (he also does cool redstone builds and always sounds surprised when they work even tho he's been doing this since 2012.)

BdoubleO100: a rabid chihuahua in the body of a human. truly follows that feral energy that makes up tommyinnit. mans built an entire mountain last season and he's doing it again! crazy! he's also the king of sleep. night is a rare phenomenon on hermitcraft, since bdubs starts clicking his bed at the barest hint of sunset. gotta shweep!

Grian: the stereotypical pick. he's the prankster man, everyone seems to think he's pretty childish and he often has the younger brother role even though he's not the youngest on the server. has started/been majorly involved in two wars. had an alter ego called poultry man who would fly around dropping eggs and spawning chickens everywhere.

RANBOO-

Rendog: lore man lore man!!!! he has a bunch of fun and interesting characters and he puts a lot of thought into his episodes, from his builds to his mc skin, to make sure everything comes together perfectly. I don't watch his hermitcraft stuff but I've seen him via other hermit's povs and he rlly does pick a role and throw himself into it. it's amazing.

PHILZA-

EthosLab: do you like anime kinnies? do you like old gods of minecraft? well let me introduce you to ethoslab! i want to study him in a lab. he causes problems on purposes. he builds super random redstone things. he messes with noteblocks. he was head of shennanigans. his minecraft skin is kakashi hatake from naruto. there was a block named after him in the 2013 april fools update (the EthoSlab). who is this man. i think he also has the longest running minecraft lets play. what the heck.

Grian: bird man. good at flying. chaotic bitch. idk some of the vibes are there.

SAPNAP-

Tangotek: crazy redstone man. builds crazy minigames. idk there aren't actually many similarities here other than they're both often associated with fire in fanworks despite not actually having that much to do with it.

FUNDY-

EthosLab: aforementioned anime kinnie. crazy redstone. idk. Zedaph: in season 7 he built a cave of contraptions which contained these amazing redstone machines that found the most complicated and convoluted ways to perform regular tasks, just for the hell of it. what a guy! Iskall85: they're friends :3. that is all. (actually they both just have very similar Vibes. I have no other way to describe it. it's just Vibes).

SCHLATT-

Cubfan135: (specifically season 6). evil capitalist man (/lh). ran a big corporation with scar. they made profit from a war. idk i dont watch cub, thats all i could think of. GoodTimesWithScar: evil capitalist man with cub in season 6. in season 7 he got voted mayor and then started charging the shops to allow them to be accessed from the road. there was also a big "war" over mycelium. fun times. he's actually a very genuine and sweet guy. also his cat jellie is in the game bc he won a competition or smthin. idk man he loves his cat so much. you know what builds belong to scar bc there's just jelies everywhere.

TECHNOBLADE-

FalseSymmetry: okay listen the mcc teams are being announced as I'm typing this so my brain started thinkin mcc and basically they're both well known for being good at pvp. i dont watch false but i know she has a tumblr so i'd trust her with a knife.

Grian: thinkin mcc again. they teamed for mcc pride. you can go watch that if u want to get grians Vibes while still having a dsmp member present for some familiarity. idk.

NIHACHU-

GeminiTay: a lot of ppl say they like niki's streams bc of the comforting vibes and general chill atmosphere, and I think gem matches that pretty well. cy once said she sounds like fluttershy and tbh i sorta agree. shes an awesome builder and insanely smart and even though she's new this season im already incredibly attatched to her.

TUBBO-

Zedaph: aforementioned cave of contraptions rlly fits tubbo's vibe. i think he's going the mad scientist route this season too. Docm77: another mad scientist. already early on he made this super weird lighting farm thing? i dont even know but i've seen the clip and its MAD. even if you dont watch hermitcraft you should check out that individual clip.

FOOLISH-

literally any of them bc i genuinely belive wholeheartedly that foolish would fit perfectly on hermitcraft if he could manage not to swear. (altho maybe cub bc last season he build a giant pyramid.)

Infinity war. It may be the lesser of two evils, but it's still an evil. Of course, many things come to mind when you think of the movie. Crying, Thanos, the absolute bullshit that was Vision and Wanda's deaths...

I mean, I guess technically Vision died twice. So that the russos could have it both ways, I suppose. Commitment issues tend to come alongside idiocy, and they have piles of both.

At any rate.

Now there are arguments to be made in favour of how it all went down. "But no one really cared about wandavision after civil war anyway!" False... and didn't the russos direct that movie too? It feels like there are definitely people at fault for that.

"It had to happen!" No?!? I don't know how you watch infinity war, regardless of the garbage it is, and come out thinking "Wow, every plot point was necessary!"

Or "Wow, every Russo was necessary!" I wonder how many it would take to change a lightbulb...

Just?? Vision's death was... pointless. We know Shuri could have saved him. But of course -

The Russos can't write movies so they settle for shock value instead. Like the fucking morons they are.

No, maybe that's harsh. Not all of their writing is shock value, right? They had winter soldier, where Bucky was revealed to have lived, and it was revealed Hydra was inside shield and one of the key scenes is Nick fury dramatically revealing his other eye!

And not only that, they have civil war! Where wanda shockingly hurls a bomb at a building! Where for shock purposes, the Avengers split up! And spiderman is revealed! And the shocking reveal at the end where steve and tony shockingly fight !

You get the idea. If I ask someone their favourite not-for-shock-value moment from one of these movies, they'd likely struggle. I'm thinking now and... Sam Wilson is all I got and that's much more Anthony Mackie's acting than any virtue of the russos.

(Here's a game, if I were to hit a Russo's head with a brick and get them to write a movie, do you think anyone would notice the difference?)

I mean, the thing is, if the russos didn't have fish scales for brains, they could have done interesting things. Could vision have been dusted? Hell if we know! He's dead!

But they are, unfortunately, actual buffoons with the brain of a 3 year old writing a story about their stuffed animals. Fine for them, but they should never be allowed to mess with other people's stories.

Which is the issue really. Both wanda and vision are from age of Ultron, a film they didn't direct. We all know about ragnorok going down the drain. They lack any capacity to accept other's ideas and oh lordy lord is that a bad trait to be working on the mcu with.

And thus Wanda and Vision. Bukatra said their actions were meaningless? By god they are right and not only were they meaningless in universe, they were meaningless as actions in a movie too.

Oh sure, it was heartbreaking to watch Wanda have to take Vision's life (...). But it was already heartbreaking for her to be in the position where she might have too. All it really added was a way to show Thanos's power and... they already did that. Many times over. Too many really.

Wanda kills vision... he's resurrected seconds later and it meant. Nothing. I don't expect Wanda to have thought of the time stone, but someone should have. Rocket, maybe. The Guardians were talking about thanos be for ether split so it follows that if not Thor, he would have known something.

And that's ignoring Bruce. Who knew about the stones thanks to Doctor Strange. Even assuming he didn't fill the others in, he would have realised destroying the stone doesn't automatically mean safety. He aint silly. He aint a Russo. And he probably did fill the others in. Am I expected to belive Natasha hinged her bets on Thanos being stupid? No!

Honestly this was stupid all round and I don't know how the russos got away with it... Oh wait, yes I do. They knew they were shit so they refused to let the actors know the plot.

But what happened happened, and... it's still bad. Vision is dead and Wanda is dusted. There's no real fallout to this. Neither of them are mentioned in endgame up until Wanda is revived. It just feels like another stone Thanos stole. And some viewers felt that "Why didn't they turn vision off? He's just a robot!" You wouldn't say that about Data from Star Trek you heathens

Deep breath... calm... I'm good. For my next trick... We think of the movie without the actions of these two.

Wanda doesn't kill vision. Movie continues as it did regardless.

Vision doesn't tell Wanda to kill him. See above.

Wanda doesn't step into the fight. More people die but other than that not much changes.

Vision lives! Through Shuri presumably. Thanos maybe gets the stone, maybe he doesn't, it's irrelevant to my point because this came about by neither Wanda nor Vision really.

I'm struggling here. They really didn't do a whole lot. Ya know that sexy lamp test? Can we apply that here?

I don't want to diminish these characters. I love them! But they were not treated well.

The thing is, maybe the Russos were going for 'doomed love' or some shit. You know what hurts more? One of them living. Wanda, maybe, would have been a great addition to that conference. Or Vision, if he lived and Wanda was dusted. But I guess we have that now Wanda has returned. I fear for her character's future if the Russos are anywhere near it.

As I end this, I think of one thing. Vision and Wanda's treatment was very reminiscent of Gamora's death - Unnecessary, badly handled, directed by people incapable of handling anyone bar their image of captain america, and, oh yeah,

So you want to force fertile uterine-owners to give up nine months of their life, their money, their time, their happiness just because YOU (falsely) belive a bundle of cells is more of a human being than the person who's carrying it? You want to force these people to endure the strain and health risks and limited opportunities for something they don't even WANT? Yeah, that's TOTALLY ethical 🙄🖕🏻

I absolutely do not believe a fetus is more of a human being than the person carrying them. I have never said anything of the sort and that is an extreme assumption on your part. Not only that, but I have never met a pro-life person who has believed that.

I actually acknowledge the fact that in most scenarios, the parent must be prioritized. I acknowledge that they are sentient and have far more rights.

However, I also know for a fact that a fetus is both alive and human. Therefore, I believe that they ought to have the basic human right to survival. Simple as that. The right to remain alive. To not be killed.

Yes, I do believe that is worth nine months (time). However, I do not believe that anyone is under any obligation to raise the child. Merely to… not kill them or have them killed, and I believe that prenatal care is yet another right. So I do have to disagree with the money part.

As for happiness, I’m no stranger to mental illness, trauma, depression, etc, and I would never wish to worsen these things. However, I do not believe that the cure is to kill a living human. That sounds off. The rest, which is unrelated to illness, trauma, depression, etc, is awful but is still not an argument towards killing.

Am I 100% happy with my beliefs? No. Do I see myself as wholly just in my moral standpoint? No. If there was a way to stop the killing without forcing people to carry unwanted pregnancies, I’d be all for it. Because I don’t like it. I don’t see it as fair. This is why a huge portion of my activism involves working towards preventing those pregnancies from occurring in the first place. making pregnancies much more bearable/affordable, and doing what can be done to help after the child is born. This is also why I would like to target all of these issues before regulating/outlawing abortion.

I just believe I am taking a lesser of two evils.

I do fail to see where you were going with this. But since you started off with a very false statement, I’m assuming you knew very little about my views, to begin with, and just decided to go at me based on an assumption. So I hope this clears some things up.

Am I good or am I bad?

Am a saint or a sinner?

Is what I do fine or is it not right?

If I die will there be flowers or will they burn my bones and my flesh?

What I say are those things the truth or am I lying when I'm honest?

Is what I was doing the right or was it only another false try?

Will I vanish on this so called earth or am I refused to stay here until it's buried?

I once thought that all humans were good and I really belived it,

Then I started changing and began to realize that not everyone is that nice.

My blood started flowing and told me I should show them what I saw in them.

At least that is what I thought.

I was up to no good, now I'm not better in many cases, but I guess that's alright.

We don't have to be brave against our natural behaviour.

I mean why else do we kill? Because of the lack of emotions? Nah. It's because we were meant to be a predator, it's what mother nature made us for. In our natural surroundings everything is going to be build by something until there comes something else that'll destroy it.

The world's cruel, we're cruel, even the laws of physic are cruel.

Like If you started moving an object & another object forcers it to stop, the moving object will be brought to stand still, yet it tries to maintain his velocity. It really can't change his 'behaviour' that fast.

It was not meant to be like that so If you'd please stop acting like you'd change from one moment with all those awful things that you have done or you wanted to do. You need to accept whether it's your fate or your nature, you are what you are.

And that means good or evil isn't an decision it's a factor which we, the humans, have created upon our minds.

Nature tells us to accept her doing and if you really thought that you could change anything in this you were wrong, oh so wrong.

I wish there was a way to hold people off from rape, torture, murder or even stealing, but there's not always a choice like If you happened to be a child molester do you really think he only decided to do this? It's in our cells, in our DNA. Only some things of it are yet not activated, but time will tell when it's been leaked and unleashed.
