It's rare that I'm checking out a current, active fandom on Tumblr, so I don't usually see fandom doing the fandom thing. But right now, I'm overwhelmed at OPLA fandom going gaga, yet again, for the Skinny White Twink. You have a Broody Sword Man, and y'all are going gaga for the clown? Why am I not surprised. 30-damn-years in fandom, and the fans are ALWAYS going to go for the skinny white twink.

#I have pirate brain rot from the Black Sails/OPLA/Return to Treasure Island I'm watching #I mean not that this is weird or unusual for me #And I'm not compelled to sail off into the sunset for once #Though I did get married during Pirate Fest so like maybe I did sail off into the sunset?#But also I recommend OPLA if you need to help your pirate brain rot by watching a really fun pirate show #And it is not NEARLY as emotionally involved as our two gay pirate shows #Husband and I basically binged One Piece in a weekend so you know it's low brain effort and a lot of fun
