Ball Part 2
AU by @a-fandom-mess-and-a-half
-----------------------------------------------------------
Trollex was slowly waking up, vision blurred and the bright lights making his head hurt.
Rocko, who notice and took his masked off, turn to him, smirking. He looks over the tied, techno troll, getting close.
He picks his head up, looking over the still place collar on his neck, the 'H' charm taunting him.
Of course, he quickly got to work at trying to remove it, Trollex, even with gag, struggles against him, and words being muffled by it.
Minutes later, he gave up, picking Trollex up again, and runs off, before Hickory finds him. He tries to dodge populated hallways, as he tries to leave the palace.
A few guards notice, and even Tresillo, and Branch, easily following him without his knowledge, while one guard went to get Hickory, and tell him where he was.
Rocko pants, as he sets Trollex down, getting tired. The mertroll works at untying the ropes, just to get out.
Once done, he started to float up, going to float off. Rocko notice, and growls, going to chase after the techno troll.
Trollex floated down the hallway, turning down halls, and working at keeping the skirt up. He made a mental note about getting that stash back.
He push opens the door, panting. He looks around, noticing many looking at him, skirt hanging on his hips, and a strong heartbeat.
Rocko slam in, growling, jumping to Trollex, who jumped, and slammed him down into the floor, landing in someone's arms.
He didn't think about it, just cuddling into the chest, easily noticing the 'H' tattoo, and brown vest.
Rocko growls, as he glares at Hickory.
"Let the little cock tease down!" He growls out, angry. "He has a new owner!"
Hickory rolled his eyes, before jumping back, Rocko launching himself at him, with a small growl, he looks down at the slightly aggervsted mertroll.
"Chandelier, now" He orders gently, dodging Rocko more.
"But-"
"Now hun!" Hickory interrupted, and Trollex did as told. Now Rocko and Hickory was stuck on the ground floor, Trollex watching for the chandelier.
He didn't light the height, it freaked him out, especially when Hickory was dodging Rocko, and easily hitting blows onto the rock troll.
-----------------------------------------------------------
The fight lasted as long as it started, Rocko running off with his tail between his legs.
Hickory waited for Trollex to come down, looking up. He wasn't expecting Trollex to stick his head over, tears welling up, eyes filled with fear.
"I-i'm stuck... " He mumbles out, but still loud enough to make out. He looks around before hitting the wall next to where the chandelier was tied at, causing it to shake and scar Trollex out of it.
The techno troll zipped out, before hitting Hickory's chest, gasping.
"Hey hun... You okay?" He ask gently, kissing his non-existing nose. The mertroll smiles, as he kiss Hickory's check.
"I am now" He stated, smiling gently.

Handcrafted from reclaimed hickory branches and twigs, this 6 light twig chandelier comes in a more streamlined form with fewer branches and a cleaner, more minimalist shape compared to other twig chandeliers. This twig chandelier adds the perfect amount of hand made rustic charm that is perfect for lodge or lakeside decor. The size and shape of this twig chandelier make it versatile enough to use in foyers, dining rooms or bedrooms. In addition to being so "naturally" stylish, this chandelier https://ift.tt/2S4RW1t

Mid-century Modern Farmhouse
After seeing a some darling coastal interiors this week, I am excited to share this “mid-century meets modern farmhouse” with a rustic exterior on our weekly “Interior Design Ideas” series.  Here, the interior designer, Kelsey McGregor of Kelsey Leigh Design Co. shares some more details:
“The majority of my inspiration comes from elements in nature. This project was inspired by the quaint town of Telluride, Colorado, a mountain haven nestled in the Rocky Mountains. This home is in Edmond, Oklahoma, where there are, in fact, zero mountains on hand. That’s why we wanted to create a serene, home-away-from-home, vacation get-away. The design was a fusion of intentional rustic elements, traditional roots and fresh modern touches like industrial lighting to ground the space but also add a modern twist. The house is bathed in natural light and backs up to wooded green space, so we kept the space open with a lot of windows and painted the walls a slight gray to accentuate and mimic the outdoors. Hickory hardwood flooring is consistent through this open concept floor plan designed by McGregor Homes in Oklahoma City, which lent perfectly to the mountain vibes we were trying to achieve.”
Start pinning your favorite interior design photos and have a good time, my friends!

Rabbit on the shelf Ceramic Under ancient lute, guitar, the green scratched chair, small, unused though perhaps by a child once White off metallic Accordian, tiny oval mirror embedded in a book cover, golden leaves surrounding, two flowers pressed to a fragile white dress, frilled trips, a draping fluttered down in angle, triangle half Little wooden nook, hole of a diamond, elements in four corners Squat dwarf pumpkins, four to the right, one stands alone in the left corner, tube tv on the shelf just above, channel dials, grandfather suitcases, aged books as decoration, were they ever read? Will I read my own collection? Pretty on the walls, but better in the mind, better absorbed into concious makings, turnings, inside of itself, when you throw the ball forward it hits you in the back, like time
Various jars of infused liquors, vodka mostly, lanturns ceiling dangled, every other a chandelier, lights above the bar 2 by 2, four lights above, glasses rowed in fives, a larger chandelier in front and its lifted 9 lights. I like to count things, a comfort.
Newspaper bathrooms, writing cherrished, clinged to its walls in adornment, love letters, 2D animation on the television near the lavatory (la-ve-try, spoken in that accent that causes my ruffled feathers) transistor radio hanging, round washboard speaker, my wandering quiet inquiries of the sound it may produce hang with it, fructose mysterious, bird cage, records in shelves, silver trumpet in the hiding, violin rested, staff dressed to the nines, creamy strawberry lace, covered lamps, each unique, lush, lavished, one closest with floral branches, soft red rufflets, orange and white golden light, one lone ice skate, wooden ceilings, wooden floors, beige muted grains, perhaps cedar, hickory, cherry? No. Too dark. Brick wall to the right only, sepia tones and Red. Red caviar, buttered crepes, tea and ring-shaped buscuits, eggs finely diced, radishes, rich purple red onions, sour cream, leek, and salt to lick as the horses do.
This is my favourite restaurant from home. It is a character that speaks, and walks, and breathes more than it is a place, more than most people do. Once when I was sitting alone, a usual stance, a mime spontaneously sat at my table, and joined me for dinner. He was very kind, tall. He spoke without words, and we held a thoughtful conversation, moments of the day, the month. Then when it was time to leave, he carried my leftover components, and escourted me through the restaurant arm in arm. I will never forget you, friend of the hour, an instance fixed where clocks can not measure.
This reverie was written to remember a moment of comfort for the dark times likely to come. Behind every corner, absorbed in corneas as the center of the galaxy does, every preposition, in, out, surrounding, in the heart of all things, magic thrives.

Beautiful Homes of Instagram: New England Home
How wonderful it is to have you here today. Thank you so much for the visit my friends! I am also really grateful for having Ellen Sharpe of @featherglass on our “Beautiful Homes of Instagram” series. Ellen is a wonderful person and she has a home that should not only leave you inspired but also more relaxed… and get ready for this: her kitchen island seats eight! I am in love with her entire kitchen and I am sure you will love it too. Here, the homeowner explains more about her style:
“To say I was thrilled when Luciane asked me to be a part of her “Beautiful Homes of Instagram” series is an understatement! When I had only dreams of doing my renovation and addition, HomeBunch was a major source of ideas and inspiration for me.
I have always had a love of interior design. I would spend hours thumbing through magazines. But now with social media, there is so much design inspiration at your fingertips. During my renovation I started really working on building my instagram account to capture and share my process and ideas. It has been a wonderful experience where I have gotten to meet so many amazing people, including Luciane! I hope my followers are able to get daily bits of inspiration that they can translate into their own homes. I love when people reach out to me for design help and I am even able to offer remote design options.
My husband, my daughter and I (plus 2 adorable West Highland Terriers) live just 10 miles north of Boston Massachusetts in a small New England town. We bought our neglected little bungalow just down the street from where I grew up. Although it was in severe disrepair, the cottage like exterior and the stone chimney in front drew us to it. An initial renovation to make the house livable kept us happy there for years but ultimately we needed more space. We weighed our options and decided a renovation with a 2 story addition to include an open concept living space and master suite was what would work best for our family.
To save money, we upcycle a lot of materials and use repurposed furnishings. My design style tends to be light, clean, classic and comfortable. I love mixing in some French and farmhouse elements as well.”
Get ready to feel inspired and pin a lot!

Back View
Previously the back of the house had a pretty treacherous long set of stairs. We decided to break that up with a few steps down to a raised stone patio.
We utilized the help of Orazio Guevara Sr. from JustDrawit https://justdrawit.com/ to draw up our building plans. I knew I wanted to open up the back of the house to the outdoors and to flood the inside with natural light. The windows and doors on the first floor helped us achieve a classic New England look.
I always loved the look of copper gutters but that just wasn’t in our budget so we went with aluminum and chose the bronze color which gave us a similar look.

When we bought the house we were lucky enough to have a bonus detached space that we now refer to as the “carriage house”.

I come from a large family and we gather here often so for the interior space, we opted for an open concept. That entailed moving a steep center stairway to the second floor off to the back corner of the addition and doing the same floors throughout the entire first floor.

Carriage House
When we bought the house we were lucky enough to have a bonus detached space that we now refer to as the “carriage house”.

We designed a lot of detail into the woodwork around the windows and added some flairs to the upper portion of the siding. For this we enlisted the help of David Bilbilian of A&T Remodeling.
The addition was designed by me and built by my husband who owns and operates ProRestoration.

Wish Designs USA hickory branch chandelier, installations
Willow of Pittsburgh
We love dining out.  Dining in as well.  We’re pretty handy in the kitchen. There is something just nice about having someone else do the work!
The atmosphere can be as much of a draw as the food itself and set restaurants apart as go-to favorites.
Our lighting finds its way into a variety of eateries from micro-brewery to event venues and fine dining to neighborhood pubs.  Local to us in Pittsburgh is such a spot.
Willow is a fine dining restaurant located on Camp Horne Road.  They recently remodeled their décor but kept as a staple element the hickory branch chandelier that has graced a banquet room for a decade.  Another new addition to Willow is head chef Tim Howland.
Check out their website www.willowpgh.com and consider them if you’re planning a special event or evening out.  And while you’re there don’t forget to look up at the lights.

New Introduction "Radiance" non-electric lighting
Wish Designs USA hickory branch chandeliers and sconces are familiar fixtures in restaurants, banquet centers, barns and rustic buildings that have been converted into wedding venues.
Our fixtures have become more sought out by wedding and event planners specifically for destination, outdoor and temporary venues such as tented affairs.    Our latest branchelier series, Radiance, has been designed specifically for temporary settings.
Radiance is a series of chandeliers and sconces that are non-electric.  They are lit by battery operated wax pillar candles.
Radiance non-electric hickory branch chandeliers and sconces have given movement to the tented, outdoor venue.  Light weight and easily portable, not tied down by a cord, these fixtures bring the beauty, ambiance, and enchanted twig light feeling to anywhere you wish it to be.
Radiance incorporates the same care of craftsmanship as our UL listed hardwire chandeliers and sconces.  They are all that without the cord!  Lit by battery operated wax pillar candles that are remote operated, Radiance is the go everywhere ambiance Wish Designs USA is noted for.
Wish Designs USA chandeliers and sconces are Made is USA, UL / CUL listed hardwire for dry location.  Lead time is 3-5 weeks. Global transit time may vary.

Wish Designs USA Branchelier of the Day, Grace
The Grace hickory branch chandelier is pure, rustic elegance.  This fixture is illuminated by 10 gently staggered candles.  The slender center and simple branching of Grace are both refined and noteworthy.  Perfect for an entry, formal dining or home office the Grace is also easily converted to a 6 light version.
The Grace is standard 36” wide x 34” high and 30” x 30”, both with 10 lights.  Custom size and color options are also available.

This week’s Where We Are started in Boardman, Ohio and ended half a world away, all while never leaving our seat!
The day started routinely enough with a visit to the Ford dealership for a scheduled maintenance.  While browsing the reading material, Travel and Leisure, March 2018 edition, low and behold, you guessed it!  A Wish Designs USA authentic hickory branch chandelier!
The article on page 53 is titled “Lights, Camera, Paradise” and features New Zealand’s Lake Wanaka region.  That’s right!  New Zealand!
The fixture pictured is our Briarwood #60D14SAH48, 60” wide, 14” high, 14 lights in a custom white painted finish it graces the lobby of Piwakawaka Point Villa
The scan of the magazine does not do it justice!  If you are waiting on service check out the reading material.  It’s a great article!

This week’s “Where We Are” is courtesy of Madison from California.  Date night at Ink.Well was more than great food when she spotted not one, but two, Wish Designs USA fixtures across the room.  The Appalachian style, 6 light, hickory branch fixtures she spied were  ordered by Chef Michael Voltaggio himself for the opening of Ink.Well in August of 2017.
Located on L.A.’s La Cienega Boulevard, Ink.Well is a bar and restaurant combination that is described by Food and Wine as a “total package destination”.  Chef Voltaggio even mentions us in the article!
"I found chandeliers from some guy who harvested the wood himself from the woods in Pennsylvania." Voltaggio says. "I looked for people who made things with their hands."
Ron worked with the chef personally to achieve a super rush 24 hour processing of his order in time for Ink.Well’s grand opening.
Per Food & Wine, “Voltaggio, who won season 6 of Top Chef in 2009 and was named a Food & Wine Best New Chef in 2013 for his work at Ink, is a master of avant-garde technique and one of the country's foremost practitioners of modernist cuisine. But he doesn't want to make a big deal of it.”  See the full article at http://www.foodandwine.com/chefs/michael-voltaggios-menu-inkwell-full-surprises.
