Regardless of what you think about Ben’s point about Kanye (and I have some serious issues with it), the fact he won’t condemn the GOP’s treatment of the clearly equally unstable and unhinged Herschel Walker says a lot about his principles. Or lack of them.

Oh, right. There’s a senate seat at stake. And that’s all that matters.

But Janet Wilkerson was having trouble filling work shifts at her chicken processing planet, and she doesn't now. Judges in Oklahoma are still sending her men to work for free. The "rehab program" keeps their wages and workers-comp for injuries on the job.

CAAIR, as it is commonly known, began more than a decade ago sending residents to work at Simmons Foods Inc., a processing giant that Walker touts as a principal partner and supplier to his distributorship, Renaissance Man Food Services. State judges assigned convicted offenders to CAAIR, giving them a choice between the residential program and its requirements or serving time in conventional jails or prisons. Simmons would then contract with CAAIR for labor at its plants; CAAIR program participants were not paid.

Herschel Walker, who was Donald Trump's preferred Republican candidate for the 2022 US Senate election in Georgia, appears to be one of those "Christian businessmen" who profits from the free labor provided by CAAIR.

These recent revelations about billionaires buying favorable outcomes from SCOTUS, and now this, should convince people that out political system is for sale to the highest billionaire bidder, and that America is an oligarchy.

The disastrous Citizens United ruling helped clear the way for this.

When Herschel Walker emailed a representative for billionaire industrialist and longtime family friend Dennis Washington in March 2022, he seemed to be engaging in normal behavior for a political candidate: He was asking for money.

But unbeknownst to Washington and the billionaire’s staff, Walker’s request was far more out of the ordinary. It was something campaign finance experts are calling “unprecedented,” “stunning,” and “jaw-dropping.” Walker wasn’t just asking for donations to his campaign; he was soliciting hundreds of thousands of dollars for his own personal company—a company that he never disclosed on his financial statements.

Emails obtained by The Daily Beast—and verified as authentic by a person with knowledge of the exchanges—show that Walker asked Washington to wire $535,200 directly to that undisclosed company, HR Talent, LLC.

And the emails reveal that not only did Washington complete Walker’s wire requests, he was under the impression that these were, in fact, political contributions.

You ever watch a stupid movie late at night, hopin' it gonna get better, it don't get better, but you keep watchin' it anyway? 'Cause the other night, the other night I was watching this movie. I was watching this movie called Fright Night, Freak Night, some kind of a night. But it was about vampires.

I don't know if you know, vampires are cool people. Are they not? But I'm gonna tell you something that I found out. A werewolf can kill a vampire. Do you know that? I never knew that. So I didn't want to be a vampire anymore, I wanted to be a werewolf.

But then anyway, as I'm watching this movie, and let me tell you how stupid it is, 'cause it's one in the morning. On my TV are these kids watchin' their TV, a vampire killed on their TV. So you know it's kinda stupid, but I'm still watchin' though.

As I'm watchin' this show, what was funny, these kids had a vampire in their attic at their house. So they were watchin' their TV, and I'm watchin' my TV, and they're watchin' their TV, and they see the vampire killed on their TV.

So they win this contest to bring this actor- now y'all gotta stay with me- bring this actor who's a vampire killer from that TV to get rid of this real life vampire in their attic.

So this actor comes to their home. He got all the right stuff. He got all the right stuff, because you know, gotta have the stake, gotta have the thing to kill 'em in the heart. And he got a necklace of garlic. 'Cause that work. I don't know what it does, but it work. Gotta have a cross 'cause it burns. I know that work.

And then all of a sudden, this what was so funny about it. As they're walkin' through the house, this guy's got the holy water, he's blessin' the house, this actor. Now he's all faith. He's blessin 'the house with his holy water.

And they walked upstairs, and this vampire, lookin' real good in this black suit, woah, that sounds like Senator Warnock, doesn't it? Lookin' all good in this black suit, floatin' from the ceiling. He floatin' from the ceiling lookin' good and cool.

And I'm thinkin' "Woah, they better get outta that house." If somebody floats from your ceiling, get outta that house. That's, that's not your house.

But as he floated from the ceiling, the kids jumped behind their hero. And they jumped behind their hero, this guy jumped in front of them with his holy water. Threw it in the vampire's forehead. He covered his eyes. Then he took his hands away. He started laughin'. .

And he said, "That don't work." He took the cross, he put it on the vampire forehead, and the vampire didn't even do anything. He said, "That don't work."

But that's the way it is in our life. It don't work unless you got faith. It is time for us to have faith. We gotta have faith in our fellow brother. We gotta have faith in this country. We gotta have faith in elected officials.

And right now, that's the reason I'm here.

Failed United States Senate candidate Herschel Walker (R-Georgia) — who had the backing of former President Donald Trump — has been implicated in an "unprecedented," "stunning," and "jaw-dropping" scandal involving crimes such as wire fraud and campaign finance violations.
