i saw this clip, minimal context, and thought it was insane

i was hanging out with the crush, my best friend of three years, and i was telling him about it. i believe my exact words were "one of them was spitting in the others mouth. can you believe that"

he responded "ill spit in your mouth" in that homoerotic half joking way

that statement was so gay that it made me think about all the other times he had flirted with me in that manner

5: What part was hardest to write?

oooh... probably the end!! i wasn't quite sure where to leave off - i didn't know if i wanted them to Talk About It afterward, but i thought it was better to leave tommy to his own devices and anything that happened after up to the imagination <3

6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

this fic is SO. okay so i really wanted a fic that just... captured a snapshot of domesticity, you know? i've touched on domestic intimacy in all my fics but i really wanted like. True intimacy. taking care of someone just because you love them. and i feel like this fic encapsulates that entirely. there is technically an end goal to this fic, the accidental love confession, but it doesn't really get resolved in any way so it feels incidental. like this is just a day in their lives, one where spencer needed to be taken care of and tommy was there to do it. anyway it's just my ideal relationship summed up into a fic so it's really important to me ya know.

11: What do you like best about this fic?

i am unashamed to say i love a lot about this fic <3333 but to me the dialogue just sounds so much like them... saying so much without saying a lot, you know? it's playful and silly but still tender and soft... yeah. the dialogue is why i really put it on a pedestal as one of my faves ever <3
