Hello! Can I plz ask for the ROTTMNT brothers (separately) react to their s/o being cute and innocent? Like they love watching animated movies, become a blushing mess if there's a kissing scene or in real life, love to draw, cook/bake, and dance, also are curious about everything. Oh, and they don't understand dirty jokes and if someone curses they put a hand over their mouth and look flabbergasted. They also are shorter than them and have small hands.

RISE BOY'S WITH AN INNOCENT S/O

Mikey:

Oh mi gosh,

You two are the most wholesome couple this side of anywhere.

Literally two peas in a pod.

Disney movies every movie night,

You bake together,

You draw together,

And he loves watching you dance around.

One of your favorite things to do is to walk around the city at night,

Just to see what you'll find.

He loves how easily flustered you are,

He thinks it's just the cutest!

Mikey thinks it's hilarious how shocked you get when someone swears.

You'd think someone just killed your grandmother!

The first time it happened is a treasured memory for the whole family.

Leo had fallen off his skateboard and smacked his face on the ground.

"Shit!"

*Le gasp* "Language! Oh my gosh!"

Everyone just kinda looked at you then started laughing.

Mikey loves how much shorter than him you are.

I mean sure, it's only a few inches,

But he likes to rest his head ontop of your's.

Leo loves to make "That's what she said" jokes around you,

Mikey hates it,

He's scared you'll lose your innocence.

But everytime Leo goes, "That's what she said!"

You'll just look at him and say, "That's what who said? Who is 'She'? And why won't anyone tell me for gosh sake??"

"I'll tell you when you're older Cutie Pie."

You and Mikey are literally the sweetest couple, like, ever!

Donnie:

He finds your innocence impressive.

With the excistence of the internet,

He assumed there were no innocent teenagers left.

But you are on a whole new level of innocent.

And he thinks it's adorable.

Donnie does his best to shield you from Leo's jokes,

Because he is not about to let you be ruined by his brothers' crude sense of humor.

So imagine his surprise when you come ask him what one of these jokes mean.

He looks at you,

Then sighs,

You look at him confused as he stands up and grabs his tech bo

"NARDO!"

*Que screaches of fear*

Donnie loves that you dance too.

You guys have small disco parties every Saturday night.

He also loves how naturally curious you are,

Because it usually leads to him answering your endless questions about a ceratain topic.

But he doesn't mind.

He likes it when you ask him questions.

He also thinks its adorable how easily you get flustered.

Especially when it's over something as little as a movie scene.

He will tease you,

Just to fluster you even more.

And holy truffle mac & cheese,

You're so small!!

He has a habbit of resting his elbow on your head.

Kinda like how he leans on his tech bo.

You'll usually wave him off, and grab his hand instead.

Raph:

Raph loves your innocent nature.

It just plays into how sweet you are,

And Raph loves him some sugar.

He's more than happy to participate in your hobbies,

Especially if it means you're trying to teach him something new.

You just look so cute when you're concetrating!

Like Donnie,

He does his best to keep you from Leo's awful jokes,

And like you,

He isn't very fond of swearing.

He'll act just as flabberghasted as you if one of his brothers were to swear.

Like, ExCuSE mE??

WaTcH YoUr MouTh YoUnG MaN!

Now when it comes to how much smaller you are than him,

It really depends on the day for how he feels about it.

On the one hand,

You are so tiny and adorable and he could just hug you for hours like holy crap.

Then on the other hand,

He is terrified he'll hurt you.

Human skin is just so friggin fragile,

And he doesn't want to be the reason you're in pain.

Just make sure your sweet self reassures him,

He'll get over it pretty quick with your help.

Leo:

Oh my god, this boy teases you endlessly.

His favorite thing ever is to make you all flustered and stuff.

Whenever you two watch movies together he'll always pick some cheesy romance flick,

Just so he can watch you hide your face in your shirt whenever something romantic happens.

Leo loves baking with you.

Even if he's only allowed to watch.

(He set the kitchen on fire the last time he tried to actually help and in turn was perma banned from cooking.)

He likes trying all the sweet treats you bake up for everyone.

He also enjoys making jokes he knows you won't understand,

Because you look so cute when you're confused,

Your face gets all scrunched up while you try to figure out the joke,

And to him it's the cutest thing in the world.

Leo likes it when you freak out over swearing,

He thinks its funny.

You'll fan yourself with your hand all taken aback.

And your voice goes up an octave when you adress it,

"PARdon me?"

"I said fuck, (Name)."

"LANGUAGE!"

Whatever You Do, Don't Get Attached - Chapter 3

Warnings: N/A

Summary: You just wanted to get through the day. Why did your friends dare everyone to try that fruit?

Maybe it had chemicals that made you hallucinate. Yeah, that has to be right. There's no way that you're in a kids show about mutant turtle teens that just so happen to be trained in ninjitsu. Yeah. Definitely.

But life liked to throw curveballs at you. And now you're stuck. Now all you have to do is not get attached. Because they're not real.

And maybe.... You're not real anymore, either...

The fact that the kid from school didn’t run away screaming was very, very strange to April.

Actually, the more that April thought about it, they were pretty strange in general. Not to be offensive, of course. But it was strange enough to have April wondering about them while laying on her bed, instead of doing her homework.

…

Those brutes were kicking their butts, and everyone knew it. Leo was on the ground, Mikey and Raph were all beaten up, and Donnie was still smashed into the rubble. But worst of all, they were all coming for the weird little dog thing that April was currently carrying.

Backing away, April kept her gaze on the strange armored men. What surprised her, though, was when one of them turned around to grab something. She tensed up, afraid of what it could possibly be.

Ew! No, it was wriggling! No way she was dealing with that, nope! April narrowed her eyes, and grimaced as it slowly came into the light. It was… fuzzy? No, wait, that’s rope. Did they have some wild, rabid animal? Oh, they were done for. She held the creature tighter, anticipating to get mauled by a small bear or something when she got a clearer sight of it.

Wait… that’s not a bear!

oh.

That’s a person. Phew. Wait…

They had a person?!

April gasped loudly, flinching as the person was knocked unconscious by a large fist to the head.

“Uhh… Guys?! I think we have another problem!” She alerted the others,slowly backing away. If they didn’t hesitate to knock someone out, would they hesitate with the rest of them?

“I swear if there’s another- HOLY TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE!” Donnie exclaimed as he sat up slowly. He grimaced, noticing how the person hung limp over the shoulder of one of the brutes.

“Huh…? Oh, they’ve got a human… Nice…” Leo muttered out, winded from his crashing onto the ground.

“THEY’VE GOT A WHAT?!” Raph exclaimed suddenly, springing to his feet before immediately falling over again. Mikey quickly followed suit, but he managed to stay balanced.

“It is simple. Give us little creature. If yes, we only smash you eh… tiny bit!” The first brute offered, holding up his thumb and pointer finger a small distance from each other to emphasize. “But not, we smash you large bit! And tall creature, too.” He continued, making his hand into a crushing fist. The group gulped, now more intimidated than ever. Except for Leo, who was still a bit loopy.

“Man… they are ugly.” The aforementioned turtle chuckled, making everyone’s attention turn to him. Including the brutes. Gulping, he tried to himself as he attempted to slink away. Unsurprisingly, the brutes began to march towards him. Looks like Leo wasn’t escaping their beatings this time.

…

April sighed, rolling over in bed. Leo had complained the entire time she saw him the next day. She was going to mess those brutes up the next time she saw them. And not to avenge Leo, no, but for putting her through all of his wailing.

She pulled out her phone, sighing as she opened up Leo’s contact. He may be more annoying than a toddler who got told that they couldn’t call Dora the explorer, but she did care about him and his well being.

She quickly typed up a question to Leo, asking him how he’s doing. She chuckled to herself, feeling a bit of amused pity for the brothers. If she was only there for a few hours, how would Mikey, Raph, and Donnie be doing?

As she sent her text, a cyan-cased phone pinged with a new text.

…

Leo had finally begun to rest, something he was quite eager to get. But when his phone buzzed, he groaned as he reached over to see who texted him. He blinked a bit in surprise when he saw April’s contact… he thought her sleep schedule was better than his.

4th Month: Your shell still messed up? April asked him, letting a small chuckle escape him. He situated himself on his bed, quickly typing up a reply: Nothing I can’t handle. Just the cost of being a hero

Leo sighed, lowering his phone. He had been a hero today, right? Or was it just that strange cat-dog thing? He liked to think that he helped save that person… Why else would they help him?

…

"We can still catch these lame-o paper crooks, and be heroes." Leo said, trying to convince his brothers. He could tell that they were discouraged, and it was reasonable, they had just gotten beaten by the lamest thieves around. But they couldn’t just give up so easily! He couldn’t let them. He gulped a bit, wondering for a moment on what he could do next.

"He's uhh… he's right, you know…" A voice suddenly spoke up. He looked over in the direction of the voice, and blinked in surprise as he noticed the person they had saved from the other day was… still there? They had seemed pretty afraid of them back then, were they only shaken up a bit?

"Just because you failed one time, doesn't mean it's over…You still have another chance. Don't let failure hold you back… ya'know?" They continued, looking a bit nervous. So, he was right, they’re still scared. But as he looked closer, they didn’t actually seem afraid of them… so what was it? He at least felt a bit better about that.

"Well, that's going to be hard, that was the last paper store in town." Donnie muttered from behind him, making Leo’s attention turn back towards his brother. Slowly, he gained a smirk as he got another idea.

"Hmmm or… was it?" He said, going into that classic thinking position.

"Yeah it was uhh, I literally just said that." Donnie said, making Leo playfully roll his eyes.

“Well, I think we could change that.” Leo crouched down to the ground, closer to Donnie and Raph as they sat on the ground. He waved Mikey over, and was yet again surprised as the new person followed behind his little brother. Nonetheless, he huddled his brothers together.

As he explained his plan, he couldn’t help but notice how the new person didn’t seem surprised in the slightest.

…

Leo was brought back to reality as his phone pinged with a notification. Checking it again, he saw that April had replied to him.

4th Month: Oh yes, that seems so stressful. Go get your well earned beauty sleep, oh great hero

Leo smiled, reacting to the text with a thumbs up before turning his phone off again. Maybe he should try and sleep again.

Risetober 2023: Day 4 - Amulet

Clink. Clink. Clink.

Sunita absentmindedly tapped her thumb against her cloaking brooch as she sat on the couch. The golden amulet and its emerald gemstone felt cool and smooth under her hand, so she often found herself fidgeting with the object.

Clink. Clink. Clink.

April sat beside her with her head propped up with her elbow. Since the girls’ last night out had ended with a whole kerfuffle with Rupert Swaggart on live TV, they had opted to stay in at April’s for this one. April, being the adrenaline junkie she was, was bored out of her mind. As much as she enjoyed watching Sunita get excited over a pig getting sauced on the barbecue channel, her mind couldn’t help but wander idly, and the tapping of Sunita’s brooch was catching her eye.

What would it be like to try it on? Would it feel weird? How would it determine the disguise it created for her? Would it even be okay to ask?

April was trying her best to keep her curiosity in the amulet subtle, but Sunita could feel April’s gaze on the brooch.

“Psst!” Sunita whispered, looking away from the show. As invested as she was in the saucing of a hog, interacting with April took precedence. “Do you want to try it on?”

“Pssh, me?” April tried to play it cool, acting like she hadn’t been staring the accessory down for the last ten minutes. “Isn’t that from your Grand-Googly? I couldn’t possibly-”

“It is, but I don’t mind as long as you’re careful with it. Here,” Sunita stood up and pulled it off of her magenta dress.

In a flash of lime green, Sunita was out of her human disguise and back in her yōkai form: a green, oozy silhouette.

Sunita placed the charm in her compatriot’s hand, who had stood up with her.

April looked down at it with curiosity and apprehensiveness and excitement and let out a deep breath.

She put on the brooch and closed her eyes.

…

She felt exactly the same.

“Hey, ‘Nita, shouldn’t I have changed already or-” April looked at her hand, except it didn’t really look like her hand. The appendage only had three clawed fingers and was covered in a thin, yellow fur. She had to flex it to convince herself it was hers.

Her attire hadn’t changed: still her signature jacket, dandelion dress and shoes, and black leggings. April, on the other hand, almost completely had.

On her collar had sprouted a boa of yellow fur, the same creamy color as her hands. The cartilage of her ears had been replaced by floppy ones instead. Her buns and bangs looked similar to their typical shape, but her hair’s color had turned into a cotton candy blue fading deliciously into red.

She spun around to take in the look, which was when she noticed the tail. It was yellow and fluffy, much like the rest of her, and had the same blue tip as Mayhem’s did. She noted that she looked almost identical to Mayhem, all the way down to the red tip of her nose and the spot on her forehead.

“So,” April checked out her talons coolly, “Whatcha think Sunita?”

“O. M. Goodness.” Sunita stared in awe at her best friend. She was certain she would be melting at this look even if she wasn’t in her googlyschmootz form.

She wouldn’t mind lending her cloaking brooch to April more often.

Interesting to note that the way Rise of the TMNT seems to get away with the whole- we are a kids show and we shouldn’t swear- is with food items.

I’ll give a couple examples:

Most obviously- HOOOT SOUP!! Which isn’t usually used as a swear but it a term used for excitement or sucker punching someone in the face.

Another fun one- Hypnos “Wellington sundae” which he often uses when in a less than ideal situation.

And my favorite: “Holy Truffle Mac and Cheese” You cannot convince me Donnie wasn’t just saying Holy Shit.
