If the "to pain" scene has a million fans, I am one of them. If the "to pain" scene has 5 fans, I am one of them. If the "to pain" scene has only one fan then I am that fan. If the "to pain" scene has no fans then I am no longer alive. If the world is against the "to pain" scene then I am against the world

This situation was anything but good. Tommy had been dragged back to the Unger institute after all that had transpired at Pinehurst. After trying to kill the man who had targeted what was supposed to be his new home, his new family... Tommy’s grasp on reality had taken a shift for the worst. If Roy Burns was just a man, then who was Jason Voorhees? Who was Tommy Jarvis? too many lines in his life had become blurred, making it difficult to tell what was real or not. He had nearly killed Pam when left to his own devices in the hospital & for what? He couldn’t describe the weight that overtook him, the madness... but it had earned him nearly a week of sedatives & heavy antipsychotics.
He had been kept away from the general population for nearly three weeks now & he felt as though his brain might crawl out of his skull. After days of pleading & insistence on good behavior, he had been allowed back into the common area for a game of checkers. There was a face in the ghosts of people that inhabited the room one he wasn’t entirely sure was real either. He didn’t know if this was a cruel twist of fate or if his psychiatrist had played a hand in it, but across the room sat Roy Burns. He was at a table, an untouched game of checkers in front of him. The orderlies liked to set them up before free time --- it encouraged positive stimulation, they claimed.
“ There’s a man with no life in his eyes. “ it’s hard to hide the bitterness that drives his words. They sound more like an accusation than a greeting. If not for the handful of medication they had fed him a few hours prior, he may have launched himself at the killer. He may have thrown his fist or a chair or the closest thing he could find...Though he is able to swallow his violent impulses, he can’t let it rest. Instead, he takes a seat across from Roy. He keeps his eyes trailed on a spot on the wall behind Roy, counting his now rapid heartbeats to keep himself grounded.

The thing about the rebel mages getting conscripted into the venatori is........ its not even immediately evident why thats useful. "The elder one is building an army" ok why are so many of the venatori we fight in-game not actually mages. Where did all these zealots and marksmen and gladiators come from. How does stopping alexius and conscripting/allying with the rebel mages substantially change the venatori's rank and number when most of them are not mages?????
What even is the utility of mixing people who you're forcing to be there with ultra nationalist fanatics. You don't think that's going to slow things down??? Cause some tensions????? Lead to whispers of dissent?????????????
