“having people proximal to you that you can relate to on an extralingual way, it's like giving someone a new rosetta stone to how to communicate when they feel like they're not really good at that. and it's a language that like phoebe and lucy understand intuitively; and when we play music together i feel that”

If someone missed what’s going on with this Martin's guitar the answer is from the next year this Gretsch guitar will be mass product under the name Martin Gore Edition. This year Gretsch celebrates 140th anniversary, so maybe we will get more interesting things upcoming.
In 1958 Gretsch had 75th anniversary and released this model. Right now you can order this model from their website (the price is $2600), but it is not the same with M.Gore Edition
(On the left is a prototype of M.Gore Edition / on the right M.Gore playing Walking in My Shoes, London 2006)
Interesting facts: on tours the green guitar is not original, one master in England built a copy for M. Gore for safe touring.
the thing about the duo jet is that he was so so small and he was in the cavern with it and he was at the beatles first recording session with his black eye with it and he was so so tiny
and then he grew up and he was big and he had himself holding it on the cover of his last album he ever saw the release of okay. dont touch me im so so fragile
Don't think I've seen him play this anywhere else. Was listed as one of his guitars on Gretsch's website. Ryan did have a Gretsch semi-hollow body guitar as can be seen in the Live in Denver DVD so points for accuracy (not this exact model though).
