The last moments of Half L:ife 2: Episode 1. Escape on a train!
This time the only cheat I used was to have the Mega Gravity Gun the whole time, which caused a couple weird bugs but tbh so worth it and now Im gonna see if I can just play all of the original HL2 with it. One shot an ant lion guard? hell yeah.

In Portal 2 one of the prerecorded messages from Cave Johnson insinuates that Black Mesa stole technology from Aperture. Thoughts?
Well specifically it seems that Cave was insinuating that Black Mesa was stealing a lot of their technology patents, I can sort of see it being the case that the Black Mesa, and later the Resistance, would be reusing Aperture Science technology. I’ve always had this headcanon that Black Mesa though was never able to actually steal the full Portal Gun design, only bits of it, which then led to the eventual creation of the Gravity Gun as someone managed to salvage the blueprints for the ‘holding’ technology of the Portal Gun.
Oh wow it's been *checks watch* since July of 2022 since the last page of Instinct. I think it's been long enough. We finally have finished what I consider the rescue arc. The next is the last arc and Instinct will official be done. Thank you guys for sticking with it, despite the many hiatuses it went through. :')
