Usually, you never cared about other people’s test scores, and only made sure you got in the top 10 when looking at your school’s scores. Your school was too dangerous for you to be getting curious with others, after all. But recently, a certain student caught your eye. Gamin Yoon. You’d noticed he’d been following you around, trying to talk to you, but he never did. Always asking you what you got on tests, always smiling in your direction when you take tests, the whole stalker effect.

Always taking last place on the score boards, but you always saw him studying. The president of the study group, but he was stupid. Something wasnt adding up.

You decided to take the initiative and talk to him instead (mostly because of curiosity, but also because it was getting annoying having him practically stalk you). And it turns out he wanted you to join the study group, and specifically, as a tutor. (mostly for him, but whatever.)

Tutoring Gamin was a full time job.

Sure, he tried, and sure, he did all of his work, but, to be honest? You’d never met someone so stupid in your life.

Once a week study sessions turned into 3 times a week, turned to every weekday, to every day. And only then did you see an improvement in his scores.

His reaction to his tests scores made you feel so proud of yourself for being such a good teacher—the way he ran down the halls to show you his test score, rambling his thanks to you, and talking about how he couldnt have done it without you.

Gamin had promised you that as soon as his grades had gotten up, you wouldn’t have had to tutor him anymore, but to be honest, spending time with him was…fun.

You’d never tell him, though.

No but I feel like gamin's taste in people is someone who's understanding and supportive, So let's say you're a very understanding and supportive partner to him

Gamin would be oblivious to why your face is always looking sour whenever he's around Minhee, he just doesn't understand.

Even if you're a guy or a girl, Minhee would probably be the first one to understand that you're jealous of her hanging out with Gamin

Funny how it's Minhee who notices and not your own lover

Either Minhee backs off or she just keeps making you even more jealous, there's no in between. You'd have two options, talk to her and confront her about her behavior or talk to Gamin and confront HIM about his behavior.

Ofc, you'd confront Gamin tho ! ^^

Gamin is an oblivious man and he needs very straightforward answers whenever it comes to relationships.

After you told him how it makes you uncomfortable whenever he's around Minhee and how the way Minhee touches him makes you feel uncomfortable, he'd gladly tell Minhee to back off next time.

But his reaction after you told him would be this "😄😀🙂🤨😦😧😯😲🤯"

Yeah he never expected you to be jealous since you're always a pretty optimistic person (I hope you are.)

His way of comforting you or reassuring you is by going on a date together, and actually hanging out instead of watching him fight or study together. (You'd most likely go to the park)

Overall, Gamin likes how you confronted him about that and he appreciates that. He actually took the confronting pretty well and will comfort you if you need it.

after rereading study group for the nth time i realized just now that hanwool is the foil to gamin. think about it lmao

gamin's mom (forgot her name hdhdhh) isn't pushy when it comes to his acads, but yonbaek genuinely wants that 'normalcy' for hanwool.

the part that convinced me of this was when yonbaek told his son to study in highschool well, graduate, and enter a good university. gamin's mom wants the same, but she believes that her son shouldn't push himself too hard, especially because gamin's dad is super sucessful.

hanwool wants to follow in his dad's footsteps, the same goes for gamin, but it just so happens that their parents don't want them too. they both have the same desire to be like their dads, and they both want to surpass themselves.

I'M NOT DONE YET

the parallel is also with their respective teachers - miss hankyung and miss joungha. both of them wanted to change yusong high into a place of actual learning and education, and both their targets was hanwool. joungha knows that hanwool, and subsequently, the yb foundation is the root of all evils in yusong, and possibly even incheon. joungha was killed by yonbaek's order, but, as far as i understand, hanwool didn't want that to happen. for him, his father killed the closest he has to a mother figure (as of now his mom hasn't yet been introduced, and i don't know if she's alive or dead), and a figure he was sure could lead him out of his dad's shadow. of course all this is assuming that hanwool claiming to follow in his dad's footsteps was due to not being shown another way to live.

what's happening to hankyung right now is the exact same (almost) to what happened to joungha. only this time, her student has the ability to change it. i'm not saying hanwool could've stopped joungha's murder, since it was done without him being informed.

geonyeob was also a victim of yonbaek's actions - therefore the death of joungha didn't only affect hanwool, but geonyeob as well. i don't know what's going to happen to hankyung, and i'm hoping she'll be alive. and if my analysis is correct, that gamin is hanwool's character foil, then hankyung will live, just so the contrast between their character will be completed.

YLAB webtoons are so cool

get schooled (true education). study group. the world is money and power. I really really like how they are so violent but at the same time you find me crying at the end of arcs. I really like discussing the morality of certain actions in certain cases in get schooled (e.g. the basketball hazing rituals, yeri's entire arc including her redemption, the child abuse cases with the traffickers)

Also, they really explore how the "right to education" affects different people in different ways in get schooled (true education), seeing groups of friends grow up and fight for each other in study group, trying to work out what gunwoo's next move is going to be and then he just shocks me every time haha. also have you guys SEEN hwajin na?? have you SEEN THIS MAN??? peak gender envy but he is also just the best like omg

I.

It was dark that day, and the both of you were seated beside each other as you both looked and peered at the endless beautiful night sky. The emotions that were burdening you for a while now finally were let out of their confinement in your chained and locked up heart, you look on over to your side to see them dozing off under the night sky.

His figure hunched over the green meadow, with the night sky as its blanket, you furrowed your brows and continued staring, "What? Is something on my face?" You fondly shake your head as you turned away from his burning gaze and your eyesight fell onto the sky again.

"Nothing, I just wanna ask you something." He hums in a contemplative manner, "What is it?"

"What would you do if I disappeared?"

Gamin Yoon:

The man stared at you with wide eyes and pulled you close towards him, his eyes that were crystally covered with his glasses were now boring. It gaze into your very being, it makes you nervous, "What?" He asks you as if unsure of what he heard, he was making sure if he heard you right.

"I said, what would you do if I disappeared?" Confirming that was your question, he looks at you seriously without breaking eye contact, "I won't do anything." Your eyes slightly widened from his answer, you were quite hurt by that.

"Wow, thanks." You rolled your eyes as you tried to push Gamin's figure but prove to be difficult with how strong he is, "because you won't be leaving my side," you stop pushing him and stared at him with doubt-filled eyes, "really?" He nodded his head, his forehead was now on yours as he close his eyes in a comforting manner, "Yes." You know Gamin Yoon by heart now with how long you spent with each other.

And you know that you should take Gamin's words by heart.

Geonyeob Park:

Looks at you as if his trauma was coming back to life, you have to assure him that you won't leave, he held your hands tightly with no intention of letting go, "Is it by your own will or others?" You cock your head to the side with his question, a hum left your lips as you look at his light gray eyes filled with contempt for the world and nervousness that the faithful night that loses his entire being will happen again.

"Hmm, I don't know, haven't thought of that yet." He looks at you dumbfoundedly as he sighs, his thumb was now lightly stroking the inner of your palm with a gentle touch, and his eyes sparkled with unshed tears, he hates feeling vulnerable like this, but if it's you then he doesn't mind, "Then what if it's by my own will?"

He hums, "Then I just need to lock you up," you laugh happily, your head rolling to the back before meeting his gaze again, seeing him all serious makes you swallow your saliva down your esophagus, "Wait really?" He nodded before pulling you closer to him, you can feel every scar and wound on his body as he hugs you closer and deeper.

"That's not healthy you know, then what if it's by others," You shivered as you felt his smile on your shoulder, "Then I just need to kill them."

Hanwool Phi:

Will grab you and shake you, "What? What did you say just now? Did my father threaten you? That fucking-" You choke on your spit as your entire vision shook and dallied around, your eyes were shaking due to the dizziness creeping up to your head, you hold his wrist that was intent on shaking you to your core.

"Calm down, I'm about to die due to you shaking me so much," he stopped immediately at the word die, he took a bottle of water and handed it over to you, "Okay, now what do you mean by that." He raised his eyebrows at you questioningly as you continued sipping the water he handed over.

"I was just hypothetically speaking," he hums, "Do you think you can get away from me?" You rolled your eyes at his condescending tone, before pointing at the flier that was on his car, the study group it read. "Yeah, if I seek Gamin Yoon's help that is."

You flinch at his warning gaze that was boring into you, you let out a nervous laugh as you cough into your fist, "just kidding, you know I like to play around." He rolled his eyes at your lame excuse, "Uh-uh, does playing around involve asking a question that can potentially foreshadow your death?"

"Okay, good point."

Gamin likes to wear Geonyeob's jacket. Be it his school uniform wind breaker or the other ones.

They share their shirts. You might catch Gamin wearing the shirt you've seen Geonyeob wear two days ago.

Tho they have a little size difference - Geonyeob's shirts are a bit big for Gamin and if you see Geonyeob wear anything figure hugging, you just know it's Gamin's.

But they don't really mind it. But rather it pretty cute to see their other half wearing their clothes.

Couple matching fashion? It was Jiwon's idea [ more like her sarcastically saying, "You two are so lovey dovey I wanna throw up. Might as well wear matching clothes..." But when she saw them seriously wearing those... clothes: "Bitch! I was joking!" ]

And Gamin took it upon himself to pick matching outfits for both of them

Geonyeob was...less enthusiastic about it: "Gamin....you do know that she was actually being sarcastic..? You don't have to it."

"But it's a good idea? I like it." With just one of Gamin's hopefull gaze, Geonyeob surrenders.

Leave it to Gamin to bring out the positivity even in insults.

A lots of forehead and cheek kisses, on Gamin's case. He loves it when his boyfriend goes all soft and embarrassed with the smallest gestures.

Geonyeob is very affection starved, Gamin have realised it even before they become official.

And Gamin is more then willing to give it.

For Geonyeob however, his wolf like nature doesn't only applies when he is out for blood.

Biting and nibbling Gamin's fair neck is a everyday task for Geonyeob.

He doesn't like it when someone gets too with his boyfriend.

Especially when someone had the guts to confess to his boyfriend .

He hates it.

Their are times when he is kissing and nibbling Gamin's neck in public infront of his admirers.

"Geonyeob! We are in school idiot!" Gamin has to smack his head or shove his face away to get him to stop.

"But....I don't like it when they're flocking around you..." Geonyeob will say with a sulky face. "You're my boyfriend."

Seeing his boyfriend like that Gamin couldn't help but smile fondly.

"You're a kid. You know that?" Gamin would say, pinching Geonyeob's cheeks.

That doesn't stop from Geonyeob leaving hickeys on Gamin's neck.

And people pointing out the "mosquito bites"

A lots of cuddles.

It's a blessing when they are free of works and just lay around the house, cuddling.

Geonyeob sleeping on Gamin's shoulder or simply buring his face at the crock of his neck when Gamin is studying.

Gamin hugging Geonyeob while they sleep. [ If they move together ]

Definition of power couple.

Both can send you to hell and back. One with terrifying strength and skill and the other with frightening accuracy and calculative moves, using whatever he can get in his hands to leave the maximum damage.

Do not mess with them.

It became Geonyeob's duty to drop Gamin at his home safely [ if they live seperately ]

Long drives while they're at it.

Geonyeob would take Gamin to every places he once visited alone when his distractive thoughts used to eat at him.

Gamin has honestly memorized the lay out of the city at this point.

Both enjoy each other's company.

Just simply sitting and being comfortable.

No words need to be exchanged, just basking in one another's existence.

It might sound cheesey. But both are glad they meet eachother.
