LMX Sirex 2300 HCS, 1969. Designed by Franco Scaglione with fibreglass bodywork by Eurostyle built on a chassis engineered by Gioacchino Colombo (the mastermind behind the Ferrari's V12). Some 42 cars were made between 1969 and 1974, all powered by Ford's 2.3 litre V6 with some later cars being turbocharged. The Hella headlamps came from a 1965 BMW 2000 while the taillights are off a Fiat 850 Spider (the prototype had twin round taillights).

Been in the process of making my 2006 Mustang look like John Wick’s 1969 Mustang.
Currently working on the interior. Normally it’s grey, I’m making it black with wood grain wrap on some of the panels.

Trident Clipper V8 (1 of 39).
Trident Cars first manufactured sportscars between 1966 and 1974 - it was briefly resurrected in 1976 - and finally ceased production in 1978. And yes, until fairly recently we’d never heard of them either! The car you’re looking at here, the Trident Clipper V8, was originally intended to be a TVR Trident. Designed to head the TVR range at the time, the Blackpool firm’s planning was so advanced it even featured in early TVR brochures and adverts.Powered by the Ford 289 engine, the body was styled by Trevor Fiore, who went on to become Director of Design for Citroen. Performance was impressive with a top speed of 150mph and a 0-60mph of five seconds. One rung lower was the Trident Venturer V6, which uses the Ford three-litre Essex engine sitting in a lengthened Triumph TR6 chassis, a canny choice as it comes complete with coil-spring independent suspension on all four corners and Girling disc brakes at the front.Lacking the performance of the V8 model – a top speed of 120mph and 9.2 seconds to 60mph were the headline figures - it was identical to the V8 model bar the engine and ‘box. Completing the three-model lineup was the TR6-engined Tycoon.
TVR's financial troubles - almost a constant in the firm’s history - led to the Trident project being estranged and Bill Last, a TVR dealer, set up a new company. The agreement that had been thrashed out with TVR allowed for The Trident Company to build and sell the entire Trident range.
In all, Trident manufactured 39 Clippers, 84 Venturers and (unsurprisingly) only 7 Tycoons, making this both one of the rarest and most interesting marques you have possibly never heard of.

2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro Hybrid
Gotta go off-roading? Need to squish some snow, mud, rocks? Wanna take a lot of folks? Toyota's giant Sequoia will do the job.
Sequoia TRD a big beast to help conquer the outdoors … If ever there were perfect timing to possess a giant high-riding 4-wheel-drive SUV, a hero truck, a mid-January 20-inch snow dump was that time. Talk about crushing it! The Toyota Sequoia (big as its name implies) TRD Pro Hybrid is what you want for mashing about in a couple feet of snow with no fear of getting stuck. The neighbors likely…
