If it’s made with sugar, he likes it. Not unlike his employer and friend (of sorts) @ffxivquel Felore Soleil he loves cakes, pastries, donuts, pies, creams, fondants, any kind of sweet dessert.
While he still enjoys dishes from his native Ishgard (teas, salted meats, several types of bread, rare to medium rare choice cuts of meat grilled over on a wood smoke over ((not a gas one)) etc) his tastes have since ranged out.
He likes the spicy and savory foods of Uldah with it’s many peppers and herbs that are rubbed into the meat, mixed into sauces or sprinkled onto plates. Gridania has never served a better salad and he orders fish for the inn shipped in from Limsa Lominsa specifically.
Doman food is growing on him but of all the thing he likes the most it’s sushi, rice balls and soba.
Since he’s a metabolism machine he also eats on the go whenever he can. Hard candies, loose buns no one has claimed or the last piece of cake he knows Felore had “””””claimed”””” but that he’s going to eat anyway.
For liquids he prefers the Coerthian merlot and Uldahn white wines. Jasmine and orange Doman tea is for sipping and in the mornings he loves the dark roast coffee beans that come from the lush jungles of Western Lominsan lands.

My headcanon of how Felore is able to split his aether from his body for ghost things...
It all started when Felore was a young man working for the Ossuary under his father in the Belah'dia ruins. Leading the research division and on a task to retrieve Mhachi artifacts for the archives, Felore and his team found themselves in a trap. He was struck and run-through by a void wraith that severed the tethers between his soul and corporeal form. And he would've died, if his father, Tatalaji Tasaji, had not been so knowledgeable around the dealings of aether and the afterlife. Together with a few fringe members of the Order, they re-tethered him... but not without lasting side effects.
The child of two astrologians, Felore was already dispositioned for aetheric aptitude. But the incident with the wraith left him extremely sensitive to spaces where memories have been, and with careful practice, the ability to leave his body and return. These changes made him ideal for the kind of work he does today. He uses what he can do to assist souls trapped outside the aetherial sea. It's only when he himself is separated that he can communicate.
When he's "out-of-body", his body is kept somewhere safe- usually his office. He's frightened a few housekeeping maids who've entered his office while on his patrols upstairs. His body is in a state of stasis. Alive, breathing, sustaining, but all color in his eyes missing. It's a truly dead inside look. But put a blanket on him & he'll pass as sleeping.
The second image is a proper ref for Felore's aetheric 'ghost', which is really just a blob of 90% of his aether but looks frighteningly similar to a ghost to an untrained eye.

She materialises, after the bated moons of where is she? and is she alright? Where is Ichiro? Did Ichiro take her? Why weren’t you watching her? You should have known where she is, you, and Rose, and Otolin, and Torithas. Did she leave anything? What do you mean a safehouse? Why were you all hiding this from us? Is there anything in it? Was it a forced entry? What do the cards say? Have we heard of anything in Ul’dah or Kugane?
And it should be a joyous moment when she does, when she is suddenly walking through the doors of the White Lotus - when Felore and Adrian are the first to see her alive and well.
But there is something wrong.
Her aether is so dark, and searing like engulfing ice, and twisting all around like a fire so grand that it convulses and twists into a swirling vortex of chaos snapping in all of his senses.
She is still beautiful.
In a Moon-like way that rings more like the Green Dragon that had branded her face so long ago.
Not… like Xiaohu.
Her hand raises like a Mandate as a mixture of white haoris and black steel pour up through the stairs behind her.
“Sit down, Big Brother, Mr. Soleil.”

My current IRL hobby is chicken keeping and I've recently had a lot of chicken on the brain lately... so OCs as t4t chickens...
Felo is an Old English Game fowl x Favorolle and Adrian is a Phoenix Chicken. Felo trims his tail and saddle feathers to look more femme. Adrian doesn't have spurs or a big comb but grows their saddle feathers out long to be more masc.
