In its heyday, Aeor’s laboratories were filled with all manner of biological experiments. Many of these were tools of war intended to take on the gods themselves, including powerful diseases and mutated soldiers manufactured from captive prisoners and beasts. Upon the city’s demise, all of these live on, restrained at best by the tubes they were grown in, or at worst by the ruins themselves.

With no purpose or handlers, the centuries of isolation could only make the free-roaming entities created by Aeor’s science experiments tools of madness and destruction. Finally granted an audience, this Aeorian Abomination interacted with the Nein (and the less fortunate previous party) in the only way it was designed to: dissolve and consume.
