Kommenden Samstag(02.12.2017) ist es soweit, dann bekommen die “Blood Angels” ihren Codex für die 8. Edition “Warhammer 40.000“. Aber natürlich bleibt es nicht nur bei einem Buch. Neben dem neuen Primaris Modell, welches uns ja schon vor kurzem vorgestellt wurde folgen auch Boxen der “Intercessors”, “Hellblasters” und “Aggressors”. In diesen Boxen befindet sich ein “Blood Angels” Upgrade-Gussrahmen, welchen man aber auch separat erwerben wird können.
Auch für “Blood Bowl” erscheint wieder einiges an Material, so bekommen wir neben einem neuen Team, die “Elfheim Eagles” auch noch ein neues Spielfeld, natürlich passende Würfel, aber auch ein Teamkarten-Set zur besseren Übersicht. Diese Kartensets wird man auch für die Menschen sowie für die Orks erwerben können. Desweiteren werden farbige Ringe für die Bases veröffentlicht mit denen man verschiedene Fähigkeiten/Zustände markieren kann. Wer sich bisher die “Death Zone” Bücher nicht geholt hat un den ein oder anderen “White Dwarf” mit Zusatzregeln verpasst hat, der bekommt nun mit dem Almanac die Möglichkeit seine Sammlung zu komplettieren.

Aber auch “The Hobbit” bekommt wieder etwas Aufmerksamkeit in Form einer neuen Erweiterung, “Battle Companies” ist im Grunde ein Skirmish-System. Vorgestellt wurde dieser Band schon im letzten “”WHite Dwarf” und in einer vergangenen “Inside the Studio” Episode auf Warhammer LIVE durften wir erfahren das man auch hier ein Fortschrittssystem hat. Modelle einer Kriegerbande können sich so über den Verlauf einer Kampagne weiterentwickeln und neue Fähigkeiten hinzulernen.
Die kommende Woche hält somit einiges für uns bereit. Worauf freut ihr euch den schon am meisten?

i don’t know if i invented this terminology today or blundered into it (possibly having overheard it and forgotten about it) but in discussing Blood Bowl kits with the local GW manager I asked if the Elfheim Eagles was effectively ‘bitz positive’ or ‘bitz negative’
meaning of course whether it came with a buncha spare cool shit (bitz positive) or whether I’d be far likelier to use up some of my extant bitz to trick them out since it was a relatively barebones kit (bitz negative)
specifically I concluded my short back-and-forth with ‘so it’s bitz negative?’ and he said ‘probably- just about all the blood bowl kits have been so far except the Dwarf Giants, which is bitz positive- plenty of spare heads, particularly’
which means either
1.) he picked up on my weird phrase and ran with it since it’s a reasonable shorthand for something that exists in the hobby that didn’t yet have a term, or
2.) i stumbled into a term that other people have been using and he was ahead of me on this one
and i’m not sure which it is but either way i am pleased with this terminology even if i didn’t originate it

Does anyone know offhand if the Blood Bowl kits come with spare heads? Wondering about the odds I’ll be able to pick up some Elfheim Eagles heads on eBay for use with my space elfs and fantasy elfs.
