It was also foggy directly at the river Elbe, but a bit less than in the nature reserve as by then the sun was fighting hard to get through. But still difficult for taking pictures, which is why the greylag geese and the white-tailed eagle come across rather blurry. (When the eagle approached in the fog I thought that there was a large gull coming my way and realized quite late that this gull was a bit too large for a gull.)

hamburg days

last december, the weather in hamburg was once again as we know it. rainy, grey and cold. but there are corners that have their charm in any weather. for me, the speicherstadt is one of them. on days like this, it's empty of tourists and everyone else, which makes it much more relaxed to take pictures without always having to avoid people, whether they're in your way or moving awkwardly into the picture.
