Note
What's the story of the gun from that picture??
It's a 3.2 million dollar gun made by DroneShield and it's literally called "DroneGun".
It's essentially just a big signal jammer- usually sending the targeted UAS back to it's 'home' point, as most drones do when they lose signal. Or simply dropping it (slowly) to the ground.
The video for it is fucking hilarious btw:

Market Drivers
The rise in incidences of security breaches by hidden drones are expected to drive growth of the global anti-drone market throughout the forecast period. From past few years, the unmanned aerial systems have developed significantly. Drones were initially adopted in the defense sector; however, in recent years, these technologies are being used in civil applications like for urban mobility, delivery services, and more. Drones are considered peers to non-state actors & terrorists in their tactics and operation concepts, which challenges the air defense systems.  Terrorists are using recreational & consumer UAS for planning and executing attacks. For instance, in August 2021, an airport in southwestern Saudi Arabia witnessed a bomb-laden drone attack that injured around 8 people & damaged a civilian plane.
Furthermore, growing adoption of anti-drone systems is also projected to augment growth of the global anti-drone market over the forecast period. Anti-drone systems assist in detecting/intercepting unwanted drones.
Market Restraints
High cost of anti-drone systems is expected to hinder growth of the global anti-drone market over the forecast period. The armed forces around the globe have been focusing on tackling threat of unmanned aerial vehicles. The material used in these anti-drone systems for better efficiency adds into the cost of anti-drone systems, which continues to be in disproportion to the cost of the drone. Thus, the high cost of these systems is impeding the market growth.
