NRM’s deputy treasurer Dr.Omona survives assailants bullets
The Nrm Deputy Treasurer Keneth Omona has survived death when unknown assailants fired two bullets at him this evening on Tirinyi road as he drove back to kampala.
tThe NRM communications officer Rogers Mulindwa confirmed this incident to the Spear News “a stranger has this Sunday evening hit the window glass of the official vehicle of the NRM Deputy National Treasurer Dr Kenneth Omona, missing his head by inches”. Mulindwa said.
The incident happened along Tirinyi road as Omona was on his way back to Kampala from official party duties in the eastern town of Mbale.
“We are trying to establish the motive and whether the actor intended to hurt the senior party official or it was accidental.
The case has been reported to the nearby police post and police investigations are to start immediately”, Mulindwa said.
Meanwhile panicking Dr. Omona made a statement at police in which he indicated that thugs fired at his car and a bullet narrowly missed his head.
