This isn’t a fleshed out work, but it’s enough that I still think it’s good enough to share. (If someone wants to use this as a prompt; feel free! Just credit my ao3 or tumblr.)
Diavolo is as good as the king in the Devildom. His fondness towards MC will not go unnoticed by his citizens, though many dare not say anything about the human he insists on flaunting around.
Maybe you were alone, in a rare moment when none of your demons were around, or maybe you and your demons were outnumbered en masse. Either way you got kidnapped (demonnapped, humannapped?) Like everything in life it’s political. -_-
Not every demon out there approves of Diavolo’s feelings towards you, to the exchange students in general. They want to keep the underworld ‘pure’ or whatnot, perhaps they also express distaste to the brothers perhaps?
Back to the topic at hand: you’ve been kidnapped. The kidnapper uses you/your life as political leverage to attempt to get Diavolo or the House of Lords to pass some law that limits the inter realm travels.
Maybe it was even the House of Lords that had you kidnapped and they think Diavolo would do a better job leading the realm without you around as a distraction…

MarchWeres Day 5
Prompt: Finding Out
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Tabby (oc)
Warnings: Injury; mentions of blood
Tabby stared at the large creature writhing and snarling on the ground, her blue eyes wide with fear, but also curiosity. The features of the thing fell somewhere in between a dog and a human. Wait, no.
A wolf.
“Werewolf.” She whispered, more so to herself but it caught the beast’s attention. The shiny trap clamped around its lower leg was digging deeper with each attempt to escape it, smoke boiling up from where the metal teeth broke the skin. Each time a clawed hand attempted to remove it, there was a hissing sound and more pained howling.
She could have left it there. Probably should have left it. At least that’s what she told herself as she approached with her palms out, unarmed. With only heavy panting and the occasional whine, striking blue eyes watched her, hidden gems in a sea of shadows.
“Easy. I’m not gonna hurt you.” Idiot. You couldn’t if you tried. The redhead lowered to her knees, much closer but still at a safe distance. “You’re probably still gonna eat me but I can’t leave you like this.” To her bewilderment, the large head shook back and forth. “You—you understand me?” A nod. “Okay then.” She waddled forward a few more feet on her knees. “Werewolf?” Another nod.
The trap was obviously meant for this specific creature, rounded to almost the perfect size to do the most damage. The blood flowing from the wound was boiling, pink and frothy when it spilled onto the grass.
“Silver?” She pointed. One side of its mouth pulled back into a snarl that displayed fangs the size of her thumbs. She gulped while it nodded. “I’m gonna look at it. I won’t touch yet, okay?” Tabby didn’t wait for an answer, leaning forward onto all fours to inspect the device. “It’s made like a bear trap. My boyfriend showed me all about these!” Realizing how utterly ridiculous it was to be so excited, she cleared her throat. “Sorry. I just think he’d be proud of me. You’d probably eat him. He’s a grump.”
That growl sounded dangerously close to a laugh. Tabby shook her head and reached forward, toward the contraption. “I’m gonna press down on the wings. When you feel the give, pull your leg free. It’s gonna bleed, so don’t try to run. I’ll wrap it for you.” The creature remained quiet but watched her with what couldn’t possibly be amusement. “One.” She placed one foot on one side. “Two.” And then hovered a boot over the other. Grabbing the metal that was clamped onto the furry leg, she knew she’d have to help hold it open for the large limb to clear. “Three!”
It went fast. Her body weight opened the trap with her small hands prying each side away from the skin until the leg was out of the way. Moving her hands first, she stepped back and watched how forcefully it snapped shut.
“Your boyfriend is pretty proud’a ya.”
Tabby spun around to find Daryl on the ground, naked and leaning back against a tree trunk. His leg looked awful.
“Couldn’t shift back or that thing would’a taken my leg off.”
“Daryl? You’re—that was—”
“Easy, Spitfire. Let’s just wrap this, find my clothes, an’ then I guess ya got some questions.” He started levering himself up but didn’t get far before Tabby was ducking beneath his arm. She was confused, more than a little surprised, but she wasn’t scared. That threw him.
All those months and he hadn’t told her, didn’t want to see the horror reflecting in those pretty blue eyes. Now, as they moved to a safer place to tend to his wound, he knew had underestimated her, something he tended to do often.
She knew now though, and she hadn’t run. Daryl was thanking whatever higher power was listening that he hadn’t closed the van door in her face way back in Atlanta.
