Whenever I imagine Jon calling Damian “honey” or “hon” I imagine him saying it the most soft and endearing way you could possibly say it. This is strictly domestic, since he said it when their dynamic changed in that issue; I headcanon that he calls Damian “honey” when he has to take care of him instead of the other way around, it’s more of a way to comfort Damian using tools he’s seen his parents use.

Damian and Jon getting together in the future would mean that they would each have the craziest in-laws

Now your life is going pretty good until your dads best friend brings his son over!!! his son is highkey annoying but whatever, they want to know if he has powers, so you push him off a cliff?? thing. he falls. anyways. you two end up saving the world together and call yourselves “supersons” or whatever. HE AGES!! WTF!!!!! okay now youre younger than him?!?!? whatever. wait hes lowkey kinda cute now… OH NO!! HIS BOYFRIEND IS A DISCORD MOD!!! whatevs we are soooo much older now and our ages don’t matter and the writers don’t hate us anymore and let us have our happy ending!!!
