MCU Tony is the Overprotective Older Brother, and AA Tony is the absolutely annoying little brother who makes his older brother question his entire life decisions because little bro is following each and every footstep
And EMH Tony is the tired middle brother who witnesses the both of them fight and banter, was exactly like mcu tony but became lazy and wasn't impressed
(Disclaimer: I may be misreading this, and I definitely go on a tangent)
I'm with you on the general oldest-middle-youngest vibes for those three, but I disagree that AA Tony is following in MCU's footsteps. They definitely share some personality traits, but AA really decouples itself from the MCU in terms of characterization and plot as it goes along.
Tbh the reason AA Tony seems so chaotic compared to MCU Tony in my AU is that he's actually more emotionally stable, and has a remarkably cohesive team compared to the MCU. The AA Avengers live together, train together, have numerous well-oiled collaborative battle formations, go to diners and carnivals together, engage with each other's hobbies and families, and above all else constantly support each other through mature discussions about their feelings. They really feel like a found family. Hell, Iron Man and Cap become so competent as partners and leaders that the writers sometimes have to contrive ways to sideline them so that the rest of the team can struggle and shine. So AA Tony is more happy-go-lucky and willing to take certain risks because he's accustomed to being able to trust the people around him to catch him if he stumbles. Also his reality is both weirder and more forgiving in general, so he's less fazed by bizarre shit. MCU might read it as AA not taking things seriously, but really he's just confident (though perhaps overly so at times).
So like, MCU Tony is definitely protective. But it's a mix of misunderstanding and of "oh no he's soft, I gotta preserve that." Though AA Tony is also an expert at being Very Annoying, so sometimes MCU Tony is like, "Actually I may slap this man." It's a complex dynamic, lmao.
I realize I'm overthinking what was just meant as a whimsical message, sorry. But I have a lot of Feelings about how damn positive Avengers Assemble is. 🥺
PS: I'm not sure where you get "lazy" for EMH Tony? The man is Tired™, but it's because he does Too Much. Unless you mean lazy about engaging with the bickering? Because yeah I can see him as more content to just sip his coffee and watch them like a tennis match most of the time.

I'm feeling empowered to expound, so here are some overworld notes about my Marvel Multiverse AU.
Within this big multiverse pocket dimension, each person has their own whole Summit Area, which is fronted by a lobby/waiting room that anyone else can visit. But generally only people of that Summit are allowed beyond that, into the meeting rooms, break room, and communal labs/gyms/studios/whatever.
Each lobby is overseen by a receptionist, who has the power to grant or deny access to other rooms, eject people from the lobby, and control communication to other Summit Areas.
[Specific character lobby thoughts under the cut]
~
The Tony Stark receptionist is usually the Anthony Stark of Earth-AO318, which is one I made up that uses the role-reversal trope. So he's Pepper Potts' PA, making him well-suited to man the Summit reception desk. In his home reality he is destined to eventually be Pepper's love interest, but at the moment he's single and will flirt with nearly anyone who comes through the lobby (yes including other Tonys).
Of course Anthony has his own Summit meetings to attend occasionally, in which case he either leaves a note instructing visitors to "Sort out your own shit," or leaves another Tony in charge temporarily. Currently, the main backup receptionist is Tony from Earth-TRN814 (the Marvel's Avengers video game) because his broke ass needs the extra income and this is somehow a paid position.
The Tony Stark reception desk is appropriately high-tech in aesthetic, with holoscreens and wireless communication. The meeting rooms all have a small holoprojector hidden in the table to video-call the receptionist.
~
The Steve Rogers reception desk has more of a 1940s aesthetic. The main receptionist is a non-serum Steve from some reality where he was able to join the military in a communications capacity. He has a typewriter and a telegraph machine, and wears big clunky headphones for calls. All of this magically interfaces perfectly with the communication tech of other Summit Areas. Receptionist Anthony often calls just to chat/flirt.
Meeting room tables have a hidden compartment containing a rotary phone for calling the reception desk.
Despite being small, receptionist Steve will absolutely throw hands at anyone causing a ruckus in his lobby or attempting to bypass his desk without checking in properly.
~
The Bucky Barnes receptionist is also a 1940s sort, because pre-Winter Solider Buckys are the only ones who can reliably remember to order office supplies. He keeps a stack of "HELLO MY NAME IS BUCKY" stickers to hand out just in case.
~
The Clint Barton reception desk has a sign on the front that says, "Please sign in here!" accompanied by a cartoon Hawkeye signing "Thanks!" in ASL.
~
Most lobbies you can just walk into, but the Natasha Romanoff lobby is locked behind a large steel door with one of those sliding eye windows.

What was so controversial that MCU Tony said that had three Tonies yelling at him?
There wasn't any specific thing I had in mind tbh. I suppose based on the pointing it could be something Steve related, but that wasn't intentional. 🤔

So your MCU Tony is from roughly Infinity War, yeah? So his 'Arc Reactor' isn't really an arc reactor but just the core of the nanotech Iron Man armor and is neither surgically embedded in his chest nor required for keeping him alive. So he ever just casually remove the suit from his chest to tinker with it and get immediate horrified reactions from all the Tonys in the room that do have arc reactors in their chests keeping them alive?
As I understand it, there IS an arc reactor in there powering the nanotech, but yeah the entire thing is detachable and not keeping him alive.
In my mind, these meetings have been happening periodically for a while, so by now everyone is technically privy to his surgery. But they occasionally forget, because it's funny. Also when it first happened I'm sure he had fun alarming them with the reveal, lol.
I do have a couple other unfinished ideas/scripts in my appallingly long to-do list that relate to MCU's arc as well. Hopefully my "draw every day in December" personal challenge will kick my ass into gear...

Are donuts often enjoyed in the Tony meetings or is that something they lost privilege to as well? Or are donuts only something MCU!Tony enjoys?
They absolutely could all be eating donuts and I am a Fool™ for not thinking of it. If nothing else, MCU Tony would bring some to share because he is low-key trying to feed everyone. I'm just blinded by my own coffee addiction and only ever remember the mugs 😂
I did intend to draw a Steve comic involving knishes, but I have other comics I need to do first.

EMH!Steve could bench press all other Steves, 100% true, I saw it with my own eyes
Can confirm; this is absolutely true.

i lost my MIND the day i found out AA had two different universes 🤣
just when you think you understand something...
Hm, that's not exactly how I'd phrase it. 🤔 "Avengers Assemble" is part of the Earth-12041 reality, along with the "Ultimate Spider-Man" cartoon and "Hulk and the Agents of SMASH."
Meanwhile, "Avengers: Black Panther's Quest" is part of the Earth-17628 reality, along with the "Spider-Man" (2017) cartoon and the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cartoon.
Here's where it gets confusing. The animation in GOTG is extremely close to that of AA. Many of the voice actors carry over as well. But based on the script, you can tell it's not the same continuity. The animation then changes up for Spider-Man '17, and then again for BPQ. The 12041 reality also goes through animation shifts. Hell, within the individual shows the animation gets tweaked over time. And both realties take cues from the MCU at times. So unless you're some kind of lunatic with six wiki tabs open and an Excel spreadsheet, it's very easy to mix everything up. (It's me, I'm the lunatic)
The fact that BPQ starts with the label "Avengers" and uses the same "A" logo as AA makes it seem like it could be connected to AA. Many people, self included, thought at first that it was an AA season 5 with a revamped art style and absolutely APPALLINGLY out-of-character writing. BUT NO!!! A few places like IMDB still attach it to AA, but it's absolutely a completely separate continuity with different history and character dynamics. Black Panther's Quest is not "Avengers Assemble" at all. It's just "Avengers."
I will die on this hill.

Just thinking out loud here, but I've been debating making a separate blog for this Tony Meetings AU. But I'm not sure if it would actually be beneficial in the long run, or if I just have an impulsive urge to sort and reorganize things in a shiny new space. Though I feel like I'd be more inclined to answer asks and make piles of text posts if I know they're quarantined to a specialized blog. I still get this irrational guilt over "spamming" my main, idk. I'd probably still reblog most of the art to my main, just not all the irrelevant lore and brainstorming posts. Hmm.

Will Civil War be a topic you ever touch in the Summit committees, mainly to discus the vast differences between every universe
AA- steve and tony were against SHRA vs captain marvel and her team
3490- Tony and Steve Married so they never really experienced a Civil War
MCU - Tony VS Steve regarding the accords + what happened in Siberia w Tony's parents dnd the truth
EMH - SHIELD/ Maria Hill wanting Tony and the Avengers to work for SHIELD but apparently he says no so she tries to get all neutral/passive/active heroes to register for SHRA in hopes of getting them to join Shield
AvAc - Tony and Steve putting their differences aside to save the Academy from Hydra
Etc etc
This is a very thoughtful ask and I feel bad that I only had to see the first three words to know my answer is essentially, "lmao nope." I'm sure these sorts of discussions do happen in meetings, but I don't have any plans to depict them in a serious way. Maybe some one-off gags or passing comments that allude to things you've mentioned, but I don't want to dwell too much on angsty topics. I particularly don't want to touch most Civil Wars because the debates are exhausting. I'm here for the goofy stuff like rocket skates, werewolves, dating gossip, and who can say the word "fuck."
Rather than Acts/Accords/etc, things that popped into my mind from your message are more like:
1) AA Tony and MA Tony discuss Ms. Marvel and the Inhumans. MCU Tony is like, "Miss Who and the WHAT humans?? 😑" To which 616 Tony pulls out the MCU timeline of movies and tv shows and tries to explain that actually Inhumans do exist in MCU Tony's reality. This mostly just serves to piss off MCU Tony, because he hates when 616 gets meta on him.
2) Some Tony somehow crosses paths with Civil Warrior Steve and compliments his armor. Steve bursts into tears, and Tony awkwardly edges away.
3) Whenever a Tony complains about having an argument with their Steve or vice versa, 3490 Tasha and Steve immediately suggest reconciliation sex. Tbh in my mind those two are super chillaxed compared to everyone else in their meetings because they're constantly in an afterglow. Their one canon panel of existence taken to the extreme for the lulz.
So yeah. Not much deep discussion happening in my head 😂

Is there anyone you ship MCU Steve and Tony with particularly?
For MCU Tony, I go for Pepperony, IronStrange, TonyRhodey, or any combo thereof (DrPepperony gets bonus points for the name alone, lol).
MCU Steve... Hard to say. I adore Steggy (and the first Cap movie in general), but I don't feel good about how it actually played out in Endgame.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the comic books didn't even have an AI helper until the MCU created JARVIS right? And the rest followed in MCU's AI steps. What my point is, MCU Tony is the AI Genius in this group of geniuses. He had dozens of AIs ready to boot in Age of Ultron. He just picked FRIDAY from that stack of hard drives. He literally pieced together JARVIS when he got torn apart in cyberspace. And the Internet is enormous! I'm not saying that the other Tonys suck at AI, but that MCU is a tiny bit better than all of them at it. Heck he had to design an AI to control millions of nanobots cohesively and naturally.
I'm sure there are certain Tonys who specialize above and beyond their cohorts in certain areas, and perhaps MCU Tony is indeed one of the leading experts in AI. But you are incorrect about him being the first. He was the first to make J.A.R.V.I.S. specifically, which other realities then copycatted, but there have been different AIs before that. I'm no expert, but I do know that 616 Tony had one called H.O.M.E.R., which according to Wikia debuted in 1993. Maybe he has even earlier ones as well, but either way he beats MCU's 2008.

@veethesnake also asked about the shipping notes for the Tony Meeting AU, so here are those! Non-exhaustive and some possibly subject to change. I'm amenable to many other Tony ships, but I don't tend to actively seek them out, so they'd only get on my list if I had a specific comic idea or something. For the most part I add realities for other reasons and then add the shipping thoughts later. Except IronWives. The IronWives reality exists purely because I want IronWives.

Do you agree: FN!Tony would be a chaotic evil.
Chaotic certainly, but I’d put him more as swinging between neutral and good. From what I gather about Nexus War, the Avengers are still ultimately about protecting humanity and stopping Galactus and all that good stuff. But the vibes of the Fortnite dimension encourage a dog-eat-dog mentality that causes all the Battle Royal sort of nonsense. There’s also a meta layer of total absurdity in my mind, like the Fortnite reality has Looney Tunes logic in terms of cartoon violence. So it’s kind of hard to judge Tony? He’s definitely a little shit in my AU, but he’s not evil.

I'm so sorry I know this isn't at all what you hoped for but I am now unstoppably giggling over the idea of a Disney Parks Reality Tony who just always wears Mickey ears, is constantly eating some elaborate themed treat, points with two fingers, keeps asking to trade pins with everyone, and tries to use a FastPass to cut other Tonys in line for coffee in the break room. He's like 50% in total vacation mode and 50% Tour Guide Barbie shilling for Disney.

As well, with Spider-Man’s ride having WEB, a teen science club Tony founded that has Harley, Peter, Moon Girls, and Squirrel Girl as members, DisneyWorld!Tony’s dad/teacher on vacation vibes would be off the charts
Instant mental image of him in Mickey ears, sunglasses, and an Iron Man themed Hawaiian shirt, Morgan on his back in a child carrier and everyone else on child leashes.
