Ngl I looove c!dt in AUs and fics but most of that love comes from the earrlly early dsmp days, and the ccs. Since I got some Beef with how cDream is treated later on ; - ; mumbles mumbles idiots mumbles,, i say with love.

Which is not to say I dont still like their characters later on! I do. But people talk about Sapnap and how fiercely loyal he is, except,, he's not really,,,.. Time and time again, Dream has to BEG him to fight on his side. Even early on, he does it willingly so few times. Like he was cozying up with lmanberg until they annoyed him back onto Dreams side LMAO (was that before they officially took the name l'manberg? i think... the drug days) Which is Funny when Sap has Also shown cases of jealousy regarding Dream. Like he wants to be the favorite and is bitter that he isn't. (referring to some comment about George I vaguely remember) But despite all that, Dream still cares about him so much. So I really enjoy AUs where they are still on the same side.

Like that's the point of my Power Trio AU. Them Having to work together despite their many issues that have kept them apart throughout the whole story.

I also think the conflict between the Revive book and the Death book and Sapnap basically stalking the prison, waiting for Dream to show himself is ssooooo fun. Dream wanting his Nightmare armor and Sapnap not giving it back. Lots of tension there and I wish there was more time to explore it. I also wish it was given more attention in fan content that isnt dranti pilled :/

What made you ship it? I think Dreamnap was my first mainship in the fandom, before I even got into the dsmp. I did dip my toes into dnf because I heard about it before I even started watching dteam content, and it intrigued me since its been a while since I'd seen a popular rpf ship outside of kpop. But when I started actually watching their stuff Dreamnap was the ship that instantly stood out to me and I could not get enough of em <3

What are your favourite things about the ship? They're best friends!! Oh my gosh they're best friends ; u ; Like aaahh just look at them?? Sapnap always having Dream's back and being his personal hype man, Dream always being there for Sapnap when he needs him. Sapnap getting this small soft lil voice when he ask Dream about stuff and wanting his approval. Dream giving Sapnap his name, but also constantly calling him Nick because they've known each other forever?? Yeah... Also size dif again because Sapnap is just a lil guy and he deserves all the big boy hugs mhm

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? Not really about the ship itself, and probably not an unpopular opinion within the ship, but boy do I wish people would stop pushing the "they're like brothers" agenda just to claim you can't ship em, it's so silly XD

omgg so Castor and Pollux are twins/half brothers but only one of them is immortal because his father is Zeus. In my mind c!dream is Pollux, the immortal brother and c!sapnap is Castor. They love eachother dearly and fight side by side throughout a lot of the myths. at one point there is a revenge plot involving stolen cattle (lol) and Castor is fatally injured in the fight. He still manages to call out a warning to his brother but Pollux still jumps in to the fight and is alive because Zeus saves him. Realizing that Castor is on the brink of death he begs Zeus to grant Castor part or even all of his immortality if only they can live together once more. Pollux can't see a life with out his other half :( so Zeus grants his wish and turns them into the constellation Gemini so that they remain at each others side.

The entire concept of relinquishing or doing anything to be immortal with one's loved ones is so c!dreamnap and the undying loyalty just makes my heart hurt.

also castor and pollux are the gods of horses and athleticism which makes sense with spirit but also if we go off the multiverse theory that mcc/manhunt were connected/past servers then c!dreamnap's competitiveness makes complete sense

all in all just brothers doomed by the narrative and becoming stars because of their undying loyalty and love for eachother <3

I am once again thinking about the munchymc found family. The way they all call velvet ‘red’, the way everyone likes to friendly annoy bad but turns to him earnestly, the way bad people often takes the role of the dteam father figure almost, dream saying he thinks ant and velvet are gonna be in love forever, calling punz ‘our punz’, punz and ants rivalry, Sam having literally helped sapnap with his homework when he was a kid, Sapnap and dream gen seeing each other as brothers, bad always defending George when dreamnap go to far, the dteams ride or die, George’s obsession with the word ‘skeppy’, ponk and George meeting up first, Alyssa and dream meeting up first, bad helping ponk survive in uni, dream taking them all with him to super fame. They’re a family I’m gonna kms fr. The munchymc crew were a found family before they had the public eye on them. They were there for eachother before there were people to coo over that.

I really liked that dreamnap stream where they were just talking. It made me realize just how much Sapnap’s been accepted to Dream’s family. Sapnap was telling stories about Dream’s grandma banana pudding and what a nice guy Dream’s brother is. He even mentioned that he met some of Dream’s family in Oklahoma. Like it’s just so sweet.
