So ever since I posted that poll I’ve been getting a lot of hate comments from people saying that I hate indie animation because I criticize HH, HB, and shows under their influence. But here’s the thing, I criticize them because they’re poorly written and rely heavily on childish humor; in fact, there are a lot of great indie cartoons that get overlooked by the animation community because they’re not under HH/HB’s influence. So if you’re an aspiring cartoonist, please DO NOT look at the work of Vivziepop or any other animator under her influence as inspiration.

Hey, first-time poster here! I've finally mustered up the courage to post on Tumblr and share some of my silly little drawings/sketches.

The Combine Overwatch is so mindbogglingly erotic to me. Civil Protection suits connect directly to the mind, they link to an overpowering central consciousness, they reward compliance with sexual pleasure. I wouldn't survive under the Combine because I'd join the Metrocops out of desperation, unload a magazine into an Antlion Guard, and get the same response that I would to shoving a Hitachi Wand between my legs. I'd have Ellen McLain whispering in my ear about my compliance being rewarded and I would be unable to resist any order she gave me. Whatever you say, mommy. If I throw another grenade into a barnacle nest, will you do that thing where I can't feel my legs for the rest of the day?
