This all sounds really cool and smart!! I personally headcanon that Poppit gave away Blocky because he didn’t come to her and she just decided “fuck it, if he wants to come back he’ll come back.” She waits for Art to notice that his son is missing but he doesn’t (he like Clay is an alcoholic and even when Poppit tells her that Blocky isn’t home or not here he doesn’t inquire further into it). Christina thinks this awful as she like Orel, notice right away that they’ve switched brothers.

Yes!! I agree, her “Nature” episode is definitely a parallel. Orel’s is his father teaching him how to stereotypically “be a man” and hers is her mother teaching her how to “be a woman” and it is just as unpleasant. It’s a much more condensed episode maybe? Since I don’t foresee them going on a trip or anything. Maybe they’re cooking in the house and her mother just keeps on making her remake the food, saying it’s not good enough. “You expect your father to eat that?” this sends her on a rant much the same as Clay’s “Women all suck and leave you an empty husk” only hers is “Men all want to use you and leave you an empty husk and the only way to stop them taking that from you is if you’re already empty are you EMPTY CHRISTINA!?”Christina breaks her arm or a hand or some such thing while trying to cook and her mother forces her to continue working, keep working, keep working this isn’t good enough you aren’t good enough Until her mother falls asleep at the table. Food piles up throughout the episode, plates and plates of food and broken glass and eventually flies and other bugs start to gather on and around it, creating the same ambiance around Poppit as surrounded Clay. Christina alerts her mother that her hand/arm is hurt when Poppit wakes up and she takes her to see the doctor. While they’re driving there Christina asks why she married dad if she hates him so much and like Bloberta she says that she married him because men marry women. “But why did you marry dad?”“Why not. It wouldn’t matter if your dad was him. Or him (pointing to people outside) or him or him or him. It would all be the same.” she says this is natural. Christina gets a cast.
