These are functional objects. Your sims can drink potions from the Cauldron and eat candies from the Candy Jars.

Low poly. Cauldron and Candies are 4to2 conversions from Icemunmun. The jars were already converted by GrilledCheeseAspiration's and Shastakiss.

I've been seriously neglecting sharing headcanons for the newer Brawlers😔so here's some!:

Janet: she smokes weed, big time! She's responsible about it though. Never keeps it in the house, and never close to a show. She occasionally takes it with Fang, but her favorite activity is flying while high. It feels amazing! (based from her voice lines.) Stu is completely fine with this. Ruffs is conflicted! On one hand, he’s proud of her extremely responsible usage and applauds her. On the other, it’s risky and where is she getting it, isn’t it illegal--? He doesn’t press her too much though.

Gus: He has CIP. He can't feel the sensation of pain, which helps with his little delusion of not actually being a ghost/dead. His parents were very lenient with him, nice but carefree. As such, he’s been allowed to roam, as long as he returned before dark. One day, he just didn’t.

Buster: He has heterochromia! I think that’s neat. I’m still deciding on exactly what colors though! He’s also selectively mute. His aspiration to be an actor is a little stunted by this.,, but his fast friendship with fellow movie enthusiast Fang has re-boosted his confidence.

Otis: a little guy! He doesn’t really dislike anyone. He’s great friends with Ash! (Note: Ash does not consider themself to be on good terms with Otis. The little messmaker.) Otis doesn’t realize this. He also thinks anyone trying to catch him is playing.

Mandy: Certified Tsundere. She may love business, but she didn’t really want to be the face of her company. Great with money. She gets along with the other business owners of the park, and the more honest ones (Shelly, Ash) too. As long as one is reasonably down to earth enough, she can get along with them. She actually doesn’t mind Griff.

Chester: FtM trans. A silly guy! He and Mandy know each other so well. He decides to be Mandy’s outlet for stress. In the park, he’s either hated or loved! Mortis, Penny and Tick find him hilarious, for example! Ash, Mr. P and and Byron do not.

Gray: He/They/It pronouns sounds like it could fit him. He’s not mute. Miming is a lifestyle he chose! In one certain pocket headcanon I have though, he’s not allowed to talk about certain topics, which is monitored by the Starr Park Higher Ups, and he’s somebody’s father.

In another pocket headcanon, he's a sibling to two others. ;3c It’s only somewhat serious though, so don’t take that to heart! ...unless you want to! 👁️

everybody watch candy jar it’s soo fun. just a nice little movie… only 90 minutes long… SUCH a movie that makes you go omg merlin and arthur bbc merlin could do this… down to the red and blue symbolism… which btw was because she wanted to go to harvard and he wanted to go to yale and neither got into their dream schools but in the end they both got into each other’s schools and switched hats and it was really cute and beautiful… and also the thesis of the movie is that the only thing that really matters at the end of everything is love and compassion for other people <3

No because I was sad so I was going through my list of comfort movies and now I wanna talk about Candy Jar because it's so extremely special to me.

I think Candy Jar is a masterclass in the coming-of-age romcom and it should have been a much bigger hit. When looking at the Netflix recommended and the description of the movie, you might expect this film to be similar to Kissing Booth or To All The Boys or anything else thats supposedly a coming-of-age romcom.

And at the start of the movie? It definitely has that flavor.

Then the movie looks at you, laugh, and takes a hard left turn into Summer of 03, Little Miss Sunshine, Never Have I Ever territory and has a sort of offbeat feeling, but it never stops making the characters sweet or endearing.

Candy Jar is my perfect film. It's diverse, it's fun, it's sad, it's existential, and it is so, so relatable. Relatable in a way that feels personal. The characters aren't blank slates for you to project onto, they just feel like people you genuinely might have known in high school (if not a little exaggerated, this is a movie after all).

Candy Jar, I love you so so much you are the best.
