So I see people talk about Commander Mayday and all he represents...

(ie a good and competent Commander under the command of the very not good and very incompetent Nolan, how he has aspects of Crosshair's brothers despite being a reg, how he's representative of the fate of the clones as a whole etc)

...and I can and will talk about him, Crosshair, and The Outpost as a whole for hours, but one thing I still haven't seen anyone talk about is his name.

Mayday.

For anyone that doesn't know 'mayday' is a term denoting an emergency. It's what you call out when things are dire, and you're supposed to say it 3 times to signify that you need immediate, life-saving help.

Guess how many times it's said in The Outpost?
