if I had a nickel for everytime an actor that used to be on a underrated nickelodeon show in the mid to late 2010s, is now apart of a popular slasher horror show/film, I'd have 2 nickels. which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?

spooky tuesday is a (now not so new!) podcast where we’re breaking down all of our favorite slashers, thrillers, monster movies and black comedies on the new scariest day of the week.
you should know by now that there’s little we love more than a surprise lesbian reveal here at spooky tuesday — and when a movie pulls that off while throwing in a handful of scream references, maya hawke, and one of the best deaths we’ve ever seen, you know it’s going to be a winner in our book. fear street part one: 1994 (2021) is only the first third of a trilogy, but the way it starts the story off with a bang earned it a place in our pride month lineup. with (debatably) banger dialogue and intense riverdale vibes, this sapphic story is at the very least a good time.
give spooky tuesday a listen on apple podcasts, spotify, iheart radio, or stitcher

Fear Street Part Two: 1978 (2021)
This is a Movie Health Community evaluation. It is intended to inform people of potential health hazards in movies and does not reflect the quality of the film itself. The information presented here has not been reviewed by any medical professionals.
Fear Street Part Two: 1978 has two brief uses of spinning-style emergency vehicle lights, and one scene lit by flickering fire. One of the very last shots has some dim flashes of lightning. Strobing edits are used in the end-credit tease for the next chapter.
There are two brief spinning shots, one of which looks downward. Outside of these two shots, all of the camera work is either stationary or very smooth.
Flashing Lights: 4/10. Motion Sickness: 1/10.
TRIGGER WARNING: Violent schoolyard bullying, including one scene that will be triggering to audiences with insect-related phobias. The violence in this film is graphic and gory. There is an on-screen vomiting incident just after someone discovers a gory scene.
