for my request it was another mitsuri like us x character but we are sad about our past.

SPOILER FOR SEASON 3!!!!!

Due to mitsuri eating so much food, having be reallly strong and have pink and green hair. She was called a pig and one EX said that only a cow or pig would ever marry her which made her dye her hair black and eat 9x less than she needed. And when she found another partner she realized she don’t keep on pretending. One headcannon can I have about her is that you do this she gained an eating disorder. Where she will not eat as much as she needs.

Diluc set a plate in front of you, sitting in the chair across from you with a hopeful gleam in his red eyes...,"I haven't seen you eat anything all day...please, just a few bites. It's your favourite, fresh out of the oven." You looked down at the fresh warm food, the wonderful smell making your stomach churn unhappily, it was such a fatty dish...

Suddenly the harsh words of others started playing in your head, reminding you why you wanted to loose weight so badly..

Fatty

You pushed his cooking away, unable to even take a nibble, "I'm not hungry...sorry Diluc. It smells amazing though..." you tried to smile at him, but he clearly wasn't happy with your response. He took your hand into his and placed a kiss on your fingers, whispering against them with sorrow in his voice, "You are beautiful the way you are...please, don't listen to them."

𑁍༄Lyney:

Lyney hurried up to you, holding a freshly baked croissant in his hands that he'd gotten for the two of you to share, silently hoping you'd eat it with him...that all of his suspicions weren't true, "Mon chérie! Looks yummy hmm? Want to sit down for a bite?" His eyes met yours and he simply couldn't imagine how someone could say anything horrible about you, you...were the most gorgeous person in his eyes and he wished so desperately he could show you that.

"I don't mind if we sit and chat while you eat! I'm not really in the mood for a croissant right now, thank you though." You tried your best to sound sweet and truthful, feeling so guilty you had to lie to him...but you wanted to be perfect for him and loosing weight seemed to be the only way...at least in everyone else's eyes.

"...my love, I'll get you anything you wish to eat.."

"I'm just...not hungry right now Lyney."

He grasped your wrist softly, stopping you from walking away so he could kiss your lips...he'd find a way to show you your own beauty, he'd tell you every hour on the dot if he had to...

𑁍༄Albedo:

Albedo bit his lip, for once in his life he had encountered a problem he just had no idea how to solve, he thought of you as the true meaning of life, the very being that made him want to get out of bed every morning and show his love for you any way he could, a inspiration that never ceased to look perfect and yet...you didn't feel that way about yourself...

How could it be, how could someone break your heart...call you a pig for enjoying food...a cow, it bothered him to no end and he just couldn't wrap his head around that cruelty..."Klee and I made cookies...they are chocolate chip...with a few sprinkles, would you like some?" He sat next to you, Klee following after him, "Ohhh please try one! The sprinkles make them extra yummy!" She looked at you with such a cute face...that for a split second you considered it...they smelled so good and even with sprinkles you could tell they'd be delicious..but, you felt sick at the thought of taking bite...

"Awe next time Klee, I'm...not hungry right now..."

Albedo sighed...how was he going to fix this...

𑁍༄Xiao:

Xiao was having a hard time understanding your situation, it didn't make sense, why would the pathetic humans who couldn't compare to you in the slightest tell you such awful things...and why would you ever believe them? He was so worried about you, your normally plump cheeks sunken in slightly and your happy smile gone, you didn't enjoy eating...in fact he almost never saw you eat at all anymore.

He had to remind you every two minutes, just to take a few bites and even then you'd refuse, "You should eat...you need to. Please." You'd look away, slightly angry...slightly sad and just say you didn't want to, and it wasn't like he was going to force you to, but he wished there was a way he could help. He'd just have to keep telling you what was true...clearing their sick words from your mind with his sweet sentiments,

"You are the true meaning of every beautiful thing in this world, those mortals are threatened by it and seek to destroy you because of it...don't listen to them."

"You look perfect in my eyes..."

𑁍༄Wanderer:

"Why are you listening to those idiots! They probably wouldn't know what beauty was if it slapped them in the face! You are...ughhh" Wanderer groaned in annoyance, knowing full well yelling wasn't going to help you...but he was just so angry, how dare anyone bully you like that, get under your skin. "I'm sorry....I didn't mean to shout, I just, you can't believe what they are saying! Hell if someone like me, who's never loved anyone before...who never gave a damn what people looked like...could fall so goddamn hard for you, you have to be goregous. I will say that as many times as I have to!"

You fought the urge to cry, he didn't usually get so emotional over things like this, but he was worried about you and...for good reason, "Wanderer, I'm fine.." You tucked a piece of your pink hair behind you ear, trying to hide from his prying eyes that starred daggers at you, did you truly think he'd buy that? "Don't lie to me. You're not fine, you're hurting yourself...making yourself sick. Just tell me what to do! How do I help! What do I say...you're fucking perfect to me...isn't that enough?"

𑁍༄Kaeya:

♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

"Oh...are you sure you don't want just a bite. I've gone and ordered two, you wouldn't want me to have to eat both would you? I'd surely become ill with a stomach ache.." Kaeya scooched the plate in your direction, using every persuasive method he could think of...he'd already tried complimenting you over and over, flirting with you more often, showering you with kisses and love, but you still wouldn't enjoy a meal with him. This was his last resort...

"Kaeya..."

"Pretty please...just a little would make me so happy..."

You sighed, thinking about how much you'd eaten...or more rather, how much you hadn't eaten and took a small bite, the flavours tasting good, but not like they used to...it was difficult to even swallow. Kaeya seemed so proud though, so...hopeful.

# gyomei ! ☆

GYOMEI who much rather stay inside then venture out in the cold during the holidays. Not that he minds the outdoors, but something just draws him back into his estate. The man's perfectly fine with staying warm by the fireplace and making warm cups of hot chocolate or tea while sitting close and holding you in his embrace.

# Sanemi ! ☆

He doesn't like to admit it but unlike many of the hashira beside him, SANEMI'S body temperature runs cold. Just Sanemi who doesn't like to admit he likes when you wrap your arms around him when you get to warm from the pile of blankets wrapped around the two of you. Sanemi who would rather die before telling you on those nights he curls closer towards you to.

# Obanai ! ☆

OBANAI who for some strange reason avoids going outside during the winter season like it's the plague. Sometimes it makes you think that he and kabumaru are more similar than you think, but he scarifies his hate for the sake of your joy. Who lets you drag him outside into the snow to make snow angels together while Kabumaru looks like he's laughing at him from the windowsill inside of the estate.

# Giyu ! ☆

With how much time he stays alone by himself, sometimes you think GIYU hates the holidays. So out of pure curiosity and a little annoyance you storm into his estate to give him a little holiday cheer. Bringing him gifts and presents was worth to see a proper smile spread across his face. Giyu who didn't realize you thought he hated the holidays, but doesn't mind as long as you come back around to see him again.

# Mitsuri ! ☆

MITSURI always make sure to set up her own traditions just with you once the holiday season comes by. She always makes the time so you two can bake holiday treats together no matter if they come out bad or not. It may be the most atrocious thing you've ever seen but Mitsuri will treasure the treat like it's the greatest item made by mankind.

# Muichiro ! ☆

It's not a surprise that you have to remind MUICHIRO about the holidays. Even though you might have to jog his memory about the season, he still finds a way to meet your expectations. While his memory may be faulty, he can still remember your smile when he showed up to your home with gifts in his hand.

# Kyojuro ! ☆

KYOJURO unlike his dear friend sanemi seems to never get cold. This may be a curse during hot summer nights but it can be a blessing during the cold winter days. You remind yourself this when your taken by surprise when rengoku takes your hands in his shifting his body closer to you as you continue walking. A subtle way to make sure you still stay warm in this winter season.

# Shinobu ! ☆

Something both you and SHINOBU love doing is decorating the christmas tree inside the butterfly mansion. She loves knowing how well you get along with the butterfly girls as she watches you help them bring more ornaments to the tree, she can't help but wrap her arms around you bringing you into a tight hug as Kanao puts the star onto the top of the tree.

# Uzui ☆ !

UZUI is always the person who does the absolute most whenever christmas comes around the corner. Who sadly recruits you into the tedious project of wrapping the outside of his estate in bright christmas lights and many more decorations you didn't even want to look at. You brace yourself for when he turns on all the lights on as his arms crash into you and a "thank you" kiss lands right onto your cheek.

Rengiyuu hcs cuz I’m thinkin about them rn:

- RENGOKU always leans in towards giyuu when he speaks cuz he can’t hear him properly and tends to get a lil too close

- Do not let this man brush your hair. RENGOKU pulls way too hard he’s not good at it

- Giyuu, however, most relaxing shit you’ve ever experienced. Has combed Rengoku’s hair after a mission cuz he got a lil bit of blood in it

- Mitsuri is so happy that they’re together, she crushes giyuu in a hug and calls him “basically family” to which he cannot respond

- She asked him to braid her hair to show kyojuro how to do it, he ended up just watching giyuu work

- Cats like sleeping w kyojuro cuz he’s a walking radiator or heat but they get scared of his loud voice, giyuu is the man who lest cats affectionately bite him

- Obanai is severely judging his taste in men, but he puts up with him. Like cats who hate each-other, they gently work up to having the two eat across from each other in the dining room

- Giyuu had no idea what to say upon meeting Senjuro, Tanjiro and Nezuko coaxed him into a conversation

- My man loves giving people gifts (see ohagi and post canon interactions w nezuko) he has brought Senjuro books and cooled with him.

- Kyojuro almost she’d a tear when he came home to see them baking something and getting along

Mitsuri is so cuteeee🥹🥹🥹

Okita sees you both as his lovely s/o and as someone he wouldn't mind fighting, respecting your strenght - you often train together and practice swordfighting, being careful not to hurt each other though. Overall, Okita enjoys spending time to you, strolling around the city, pointing at all the cute pets you would see around and stopping at all the restaurants you could find - he wonders how you are phisically able to eat all that food, but once you explain to him that it's necessary to keep your strenght, he doesn't inquire further. Maybe eating more will help him get stronger too? He is taking notes. You made him realise that, maybe, there's something more that life can offer aside from a good fight - maybe, he should follow your example and enjoy the little things.

Sasaki thinks you are a funny one. When he first met you, you almost hit him as he was passing by while passionately explaining something to a friend of you. You immediately proceded to apologise and offered to offer him something to drink - you ended up being the one was offered food though, since you were quite hungry but had finished your money. After he got to know better, he couldn't help but love how passionate you were about your surrounding - reminding of himself, how he used to being so curious about everything and trying to learn as much as he could. You shared that same fierce fire, hidden under your cutesy appearance and air-head attitude.

Buddha loves teasing you - seeing your cheeks blush as you look for an answer, something to say in response to his flirting. He'll then brush it off, pretending to be just kidding. Despitee recognising your strenght, he knows how trustful and full of good intentions you are towards others and fears you may be cheated on because of this. Therefore he is naturally inclined toward protecting you, without you noticing. He tries to keep - and succeeds in, since he is quite respected - people who could exploit you far from you. And everybody knows it's better not to mess with the apparently chill Buddha. You are always exchanging sweets and other treats, with you baking him something for him and Buddha gifting you food he likes and that he wouldn't share with anybody else. You just remind of those desserts, you are just as sweet - so sweet you might as well end up giving a toothache. He wouldn't mind.

You can’t help but chuckle, an awkward smile that reminds Kyojuro of Home brightening your eyes. He sticks out his hand, a solemn expression on his face when you shake it, voice as serious as ever as he declares:

“Just so you are aware, you have officially agreed to be my romantic partner.”

“Kyojuro!” you exclaim, jaw dropping, cheeks hot, “I didn’t- You didn’t- We can’t-”

“-but we can! And we are!” he interrupts cheerfully, gaze twinkling mischievously, “Or is that not why you agreed to meet me?”

“I dunno,” you stammer, blinking quickly, hand burning as you realize you’re still clutching his fingers, snatching it away with an apologetic grimace, “I thought maybe this was the part where you tell me Haha so funny or Sorry, I was drunk when I snapped you or I changed my mind?! or-”

“Sweetheart,” Kyojuro murmurs, a husky, adoring title that halts you in your tracks, already missing the familiarity of his hand in yours, “I would never offer my sentiments flippantly.”

Your pulse stutters, head tilting with confusion. He watches you carefully, resisting the tender urge to cup your hands in his palms and press them to his chest. You swallow thickly, clearing your throat once. Twice. The corner of Kyojuro’s mouth twitches. You scowl, playful distraction scattering the haze in your vision as you huff.

“Oh nice Kyojuro,” arms crossing teasingly, “How kind of you to giggle at me after short circuiting my brain.”

“I am capable of such a feat?” he asks, smug grin informing you that his question is very hypothetical, “Do you remember your first impression of me?”

You nod slowly, gears struggling to shift at his unexpected tangent.

“I remember mine of you. Whenever I get to see you, I feel like I am simultaneously discovering something wonderfully new while also feeling a gentle sense of solace. You are the crackling embers I return to at the end of a weary, darkened day. And I love you.’

“Kyojuro… is the cafe really exhausting you that much?” you blurt, both concerned and stepsiding his explicit confession, “I can come and buy all of your baked goods or something. Whatever helps. So you don’t have to work as hard and worry about not selling enough stuff.”

Kyojuro laughs. A hearty, enraptured sound of devotion and exasperation. You narrowly avoid gasping when he swiftly grabs and covers your hands with his own, tugging them sweaty and nervous to his sternum. His eyes peer steadily into yours, your favorite color of sunset framed by unfairly long lashes, gleaming more fervently than you thought possible. You feel his breath as he raises your knuckles to his lips, kissing them lightly, smoothing the slightest tremor in your grip.

“They said I should tell you,” you admit, a rushed revelation as you melt in the fruition of your fantasy-becoming-reality.

“Oh?” his brow quirks, delighted in your acceptance of his touch, “Tell me what?”

“Mitsuri and Shinobu,” you squeak, “They said I should tell you that Iloveyou.”

“Tengen gave me a similar earful,” Kyojuro hums knowingly, “Although,” volume lowering as he rasps, “I did not catch your last word.”

You gulp, the extent of his affection and your flustered demeanor finally registering. Rengoku Kyojuro loves me you inhale deeply, allowing yourself to perceive the roughness of his callouses against the backs of your hands, jolting from your daze into the present tension as you notice the subtle doubt lingering in his pupils. And I…

“I love you.”

Your reciprocation is soft. Feathery. Grounded in the delicate caress of your fingertips stroking over his heart, matching the relieved exhale of fear from his shoulders.

“You love me!” Kyojuro beams, “I love you!”

With a happy squeal, you give into gravity, arms hugging tightly around him as he promptly lifts and spins you. We’re helpless you think, months of waiting and wanting obvious in how eagerly he holds you; in how resolutely he embraces you. Helplessly in love he thinks, the racing of your heartbeat almost audible; the shine in your eyes illuminating his heart on your sleeve.

“Your friend stopped by yesterday,” Kyojuro remarks. “[y/n]?” Mitsuri perks up, contriving glint in her stare. Uh oh Kyojuro freezes, recognizing his error too little too late. “Do you like them?” Mitsuri chirps—demands—excited now. “Pardon?” Kyojuro’s attempt at innocence is abysmal at best. “They aren’t my number one friend on Snapchat anymore… I think you might like each other!!!!!” “Huh…?” Even as his ears redden, turning swiftly to the espresso machine, feigning oblivion to the careful manner with which Mitsuri watches him. — Winter settles in, as does the yearning, Mitsuri’s prying at the forefront of his mind every time the bell on his cafe’s door jingles, your welcomed presence filling his lungs as he greets you. Again. And again.

5:02PM Kyojuro: I love you.

5:08PM Kyojuro: I apologize.

request: hi, can i make a request? casically it’s some headcanon of how the kamaboko squad, genya and kanao are with a reader who is a very cheerful and talkative person but one day they becomes quieter since another person (maybe another demon hunter) told them that they’re annoying and that they should shut up very rudely, perhaps some headcanon of how they are dealing with that situation when seeing that the reader no longer speaks as much as they learned to love, i hope it is not a bother! have a nice day~

↘ You are definitely the opposite of your boyfriend – you are cheerful, smiling, always willing to help other peers, you love closeness, you love jokes and you really enjoy spending time with your closed ones. Genya is rather aloof but also short-tempered and is not afraid to raise his voice at someone, dislikes being surrounded by many people and tries to avoid anything that might have to do with human interaction.

↘ It was a sunny afternoon, you had some free time for the first time in weeks; some focused on training like Tanjirou, some went to the nearest city to buy a few things like Nezuko, Kanao or Aoi, some slept for several hours like Zenitsu, and some ran around the forest and chased animals like Inosuke. You also had many things planned; you wanted to clean up, rest a bit and bake cookies with your boyfriend, but you didn’t show up at the appointed place the day before. So Genya went to the Mitsuri residence, who was your master and you her tsuguko.

↘ There he found you sitting on a wooden engawa with a cup of steaming herbal tea and a sad expression on your face. And although your partner has not shown much affection in your relationship, this time without the slightest comment he sat right behind you and hugged you from behind, resting his head on your shoulder.

↘ “We'll talk about it later, okay?” He asked, and you just nodded, slightly tilting the right corner of your mouth upwards.

↘ You knew that the stupid comments thrown at you were just to destroy your day off, but you were still very sad that day – luckily you could count on support from the person closest to your heart and you appreciated it very much.

— INOSUKE

↘ You ran to your boyfriend, showing him a tiny green frog. She looked sick – her delicate skin was dry, but there was nothing strange about it, the valley had been extremely hot for several days, and there was still no sign of rain. Scared, you started asking him questions one after another, hoping that your lover would help you with the sad-looking amphibian.

↘ You’ve always had a loud voice, so your monologue was heard by several people walking towards the pool. You never caused anyone a problem, you were really kind and helpful, but that day one of the Demon Slayer Corps members had a very bad headache, so your voice spreading between the wind noise was definitely not on hand.

↘ “Ey, will you shut up finally? It’s just a stupid frog that doesn’t even know you want to help it.” The teenager looked at you pissed, and you instantly fell silent, looking at the little frog again.

↘ “I-I’ll take her to the pond.” You whispered towards Inosuke and he just nodded towards you. At the same moment you walked away a few steps, your partner approached the boy sitting on the bench.

↘ “Want to make your head hurt even more, huh?!” He screamed, almost immediately causing another attack of health ailments in the young man and, by the way, fear visible in his eyes.

— KANAO

↘ Kanao has almost never been in public and has also never raised her voice before because of her emotions. She shunned large groups of people and the only people she had a very close relationship with were you, the Butterfly Mansion girls and Mrs. Shinobu, as well as Tanjirou, Zenitsu and Inosuke and sometimes Genya.

↘ You and Kanao have been dating for a while; it was a very calm and understanding relationship. You understood her way of being and she understood yours. You two were extremely different, but you had a really good time and you weren’t bothered by her silence at certain moments, and she was never bothered by your cheerful attitude and perpetually smiling face. She considered it an asset and an extremely cute quality.

↘ And she was sure everyone thought the same; you were a really good person and surrounded yourself with a bright aura of love and understanding every day. You were always the first to help someone, you always tried to make everyone around you happy, you often sacrificed your health for work and other people. That's why Kanao was surprised to hear two boys talking, laughing at your childish and carefree behavior. Plus, they called you ‘stupid’ and ‘fake’.

↘ That day, Kanao had a serious conversation with Oyakata-sama, who admonished her not to use the katana if there were no demons around... But he also praised her for standing up for you.

— TANJIROU

↘ Tanjirou was not a person who was drawn to conflict – quite the opposite. He is the calmest and most understanding guy you know; he is always honest and tries to make each party happy.

↘ However, there are two exceptions that cause Tanjiro to release a huge amount of anger, and these are situations when someone hurts his beloved sister and his dearest partner, i.e. you.

↘ The young demon hunter has an excellent sense of smell, so he immediately sensed the salty taste of tears wafting in your little house. He immediately dropped the katana, the basket full of fresh strawberries and mint, and the blanket he had bought especially for you, which you had been dreaming about for a long time. Within seconds he was in your bedroom and immediately turned his gaze to the bed where you were curled up sniffling.

↘ It took him several long minutes to calm you down and talk about how you were treated today by three members of the Corps.

You wouldn’t be you if you didn’t buy a little snack for the two of you, and in the process made a joke about something that didn’t even make sense at the moment. Your silly joke, however, didn’t sit well with the man at the stall next door, who just muttered something unintelligible under his breath and then glanced at you.

↘ “What did you say?” Before you registered exactly what the man said in your direction, Zenitsu immediately hid you behind his body and measured the man in his forties with his eyes. The teenager grabbed the katana, but didn’t take it out. This made it clear to the stranger that there was no point in messing with you, much less the golden haired boy.

Mercs with a reader who’s like Mitsuri

Heavy

Heavy really appreciates you. He likes to cook, and when he does, he makes huge portions. So seeing that you eat a lot, it makes him happy. The last thing he would want is for you to go hungry.

He was curious one day, and wanted to see if you could lift Sasha. So he gave you permission to pick his gun up, with the caveat that you had to be extremely careful with her. Was pleasantly surprised and pleased to see that you could lift her with ease.

Compared to his serious and stoic demeanor, he loves how bubbly and happy you are! It really makes his heart flutter, even if he doesn’t outwardly show it.

He also loves how absolutely authentic you are to yourself. If anyone says anything negative about you, they’re going to find the end of his fists. Nobody hurts you and gets away with it, not on his watch.

Engineer

“Heavy load, coming through!” Is something you’re going to hear much more from him now that you’re around. With your permission and assistance, he can build bigger and heavier contraptions! He’s incredibly grateful, because even though he himself is strong, you’re much stronger than him.

Just like Heavy, it’s normal in his family to have big meals, so at first he wasn’t sure how you would react to him giving you so much food. But he’s incredibly joyful once he sees that you’ve finished your plate and asked for more! You’ll definitely fit in at the family barbecues.

When he’s having a bad day, it always makes him at least the little bit happier when you’re around. You’re so bubbly and sweet that he can’t possibly be upset much longer.

Has tried to arm wrestle you with his gunslinger before, just out of curiosity. He wanted to see how far your physical strength actually went. You lost obviously as you can’t out force a robot arm.

Medic

Is absolutely fascinated by how strong you are despite you not looking it. Definitely wants to do experiments on you to determine why this is the case. Is there something that makes you different than the others? Or is it just pure natural strength?

Observes you from a distance, just watching you interact with the others. Is probably the one least likely to call you a monster, he thinks you’re a perfect specimen.

Doesn’t say anything, but he thinks it’s very attractive when you lift very heavy things. It sends a shiver down his spine that he has to shake off. He might ask you to help him declutter his office sometime as it has some very large medical instruments that need removing.

Is also impressed about how much you can eat, and wonders if how much you eat correlates to how you were able to retain all that muscle mass. Not so discretely takes notes on you while eating.

Demoman

When he hears about how strong you are, he wants to see if you can wield the eyelander. When you can, he shows you the power of wielding both the eyelander and the chargin’ targe. He teaches you how to use them, because he figures that you have enough muscle mass to keep you safe.

When he gets a new barrel or box full of materials he asks if you can help him move it so he can get to work on making more of them. When you do, you happily talk to him all the way, helping to motivate him to work harder.

Because you can eat so much, he wonders if you can drink a lot as well. Challenges you to a drinking contest, and when you inevitably lose, he apologizes profusely. Is still incredibly impressed about how far you got though.

Though, he does tell you how cute you were while drunk. You thought you were bubbly sober? Take it to another level whole nother level. You were giggling, cracking jokes and cuddling up to him.

Pyro

They knew you were a fun person the first time they laid their eyes on you. This is another person who will relate to being called a monster and will not hesitate to torch whoever did it.

When they bake, they ask you to be their taste tester! They want to make sure everything is right, and if it takes a batch or two, that’s okay! Your voracious appetite won’t be ruined if you have a few cupcakes!

When they want to make a big bonfire outside (much to the chagrin of others.) They also ask you to help them find some large kindling so that they can have a big party!

Pyro also loves hugs, and you can often be seen either picking them up in a hug, or carrying them across your shoulder. They’re surprisingly light, even with the suit and it makes them incredibly happy that you pick them up.

Scout

Like Demoman, he is incredibly interested to see how much food you can eat. Challenges you to a food eating contest, but this time, he loses. He’s absolutely miserable after the fact, but thinks you’re so cool for eating that much food.

Scout loves running with you, and loves that you can actually keep up with him. You’re nimble and quick like him, and it causes him to want to keep doing his best.

Despite him being a bit ruder, and a bit more brash, you two are constantly chattering like birds, talking about basically everything, no matter how stupid the things coming out of his mouth may be.

You stand up for him when he gets attacked, because as much as he can be annoying he doesn’t deserve to be beaten up like a bully in high school

Soldier

Is suspicious of you at first. Your arms and legs are tiny, how could you possibly be as strong as you say they are? The rest of the mercs must have been just been nice to you. That is, until he sees you clock an enemy with just your strength during a battle.

From then on, considers you to be a real American soldier, perfect for the battlefield of life. Helps you find what weapons would be the best suited for you, since weight isn’t a problem.

Applauds you on your abilities in the battlefield, and sticks close to you. Nobody is better than him, and he just wants to make sure that you’re taking his war tips to heart.

When dinner time comes, he’s incredibly shocked at how much you eat, and is lowkey concerned that you’re overdoing it. You’re tiny, you don’t want to make yourself sick on the mission tomorrow!

Sniper

You work with him as somewhat of a bodyguard when he’s on high ground. He can view the area in front of him, while you make sure that nobody is sneaking up on him from behind. You’re strong enough to make sure nobody gets to his perch.

In the off time though, he likes having barbecues in the front of his vans. You’re incredibly fond of them, and the first time you have a barbecue with him, he realizes that he won’t have to worry about leftovers.

Whenever he needs help with his van, he requests your help. Whether it’s the inside or the outside, he knows that he can count on you. Usually it’s that the van needs a new tire or some new wiring, and you’re always willing to help.

Being someone who is tall and lanky but moderately strong, he relates to you. There’s one big difference between the two of you though, and that’s that he’s really quiet. Your chattering actually helps him feel more comfortable because it lets you control the conversation and allows him to say what he needs to say without having to speak up too much.

Spy

Just like Sniper, Spy enjoys listening to you talk. However, because Spy is a more realistic person, your positivity helps balance out the tone of your conversation. When he’s having a particularly bad day, just listening to you talk is helpful to ease your mind.

He definitely wants you to try some of his home cooked food, because while he noticed you eat a lot of food, you love everything that you eat. He just hopes that you aren’t put off by French portion sizes.

Quite likes how you are nimble and quick. Had you not be so talkative, he thinks you’d make quite a good spy. He does teach you how to be a bit more silent so you can sneak up on scout though.

Is confused why people would call you a monster, had they never seen someone so strong before? He likes it that way, so you don’t have to rely on him as much, and that makes him much more likely to help you on the rare occasion you do need it.

-When Leonidas first arrived in Valhalla, he waited for Gorgo to arrive when her time came, but when she never did, he had to accept she wasn’t coming.

-Hades was the one who have Leonidas a letter from Gorgo, who was living comfortable in his section of the underworld, in an area full of trees and life, so she wasn’t miserable, but told him to not wait for her as she was never coming.

-Leonidas followed her words, and didn’t wait for her, but he never took another lover, choosing instead to focus on his own training, along with his soldiers, enjoying the time training and relaxing, not having to deal with meetings or stuffy politicians any longer.

-As the years passed Leonidas never had thought about taking another, until you walked into his life, walking into the training grounds, holding a letter from Ares.

-Demons weren’t a big issue in Valhalla, at least the ones you had dealt with on earth, so there was no need for Demon Slayers any longer, but you still trained, keeping your skills and body in shape and you were happy to find work in the Greek pantheon as a bodyguard and a delivery girl, which is what you were doing today.

-You were quick to find yourself the center of attention of all of these large beefy men as you approached Leonidas, as you didn’t afraid at all, a bright smile on your face, and he was quick to notice the sword at your side, signaling that you were a warrior.

-You greeted Leonidas with a polite bow, “Good morning King Leonidas, my name is Y/N and I’ve been ask to deliver this letter from Lord Ares.” He took the letter and opened it, reading over it before taking a long drag of his cigar, breathing out so the smoke went behind him.

-All attention was on him before he snorted before laughing loudly, slapping his knee, shocking his soldiers but you didn’t seem bothered before he stood, giving you a grin, “I asked Ares to give me a challenge and he sent me you. All right boys- whoever beats Y/N here gets a bonus!!”

-A roar of cheers went out and you weren’t bothered or scared, as Ares told you that you were going to get a workout.

-Ten minutes later Leonidas, who had underestimated you, was gawking, his eyes wide, as you headed over to him, little flowers of happiness surrounding you as his whole army was laying around, beating, and you didn’t even draw your sword! You did this all with your bare hands!!

-Leonidas couldn’t help but grin down at you, “Ares wasn’t joking, you are strong! Wanna go get a drink with me?” his army was stunned that he got to you first, asking you out and despite being such a strong warrior, you cupped your cheeks, turning bright red, turning as if you were a pure maiden.

-Leonidas was not only stunned but furious after taking you out a few times, learning that you had tried to be married before, as you wanted to be a wife, but all the men you were matched with told you that you were a beast of a woman with inhuman strength and a monstrous appetite.

-Leonidas glared fiercely, slamming his hand down, “BULLSHIT!! Anyone in their right mind would kill for someone like you!! If you were in Sparta you would have had so many men lined up that I would have to beat them all off!!”

-His words, his anger, surprised you, but made you smile, looking down as your cheeks were bright red, trying to hide your happy tears.

-Leonidas and you were an odd-looking couple together, but many could see how cute you looked together, you looked so soft and were happy while Leonidas looked hard and intimidating.

-While not jealous, Leonidas was very protective of you, if anyone said anything bad about you, he wouldn’t hesitate to throw hands and threaten them with a massive beatdown, defending your honor, which you adored.

-You did your best to make him happy too, bringing him baked goods you’ve made which he always savors and acts like a child sometimes with, refusing to share.

-He’s very gentle with you, treating you like a delicate flower, despite knowing you were probably stronger than him, but you loved it, showing him with kisses and loves, which he enjoyed.

-Grogo would always be his first love and would always have a place in his heart, but having you by his side made him so happy, and he wanted to keep you there so you would be happy too.

I'm not a big fan of February.

'Day of Romance' they say but for me it's a day of torture.

Watching other people love each other as I stare enviously.

How unfair is that?

“Y/N~ The chocolates are ready”

You snapped out your thoughts as shinobu called out for you, she and Aoi helped you with making Valentine's chocolate since you informed shinobu about wanting to give someone a chocolate for valentine's

You walked towards her and Aoi staring at the chocolates that the 3 of you made together, although shinobu was a very busy person she decided to make time for valentine's.

Shinobu took a piece of chocolate and placed it Infront of your mouth "Say ahh~", You opened your mouth as shinobu gently put the chocolate in your mouth. The chocolate slowly melted in your tongue and you could taste how delicious it was, "This is so good and delicious thank you for helping me Shinobu and Aoi" you hummed.

Aoi gave you a smile while shinobu patted your head "My, my there's no need to thank me..Friends are always there for each other aren't they?" Shinobu paused for a while until something a random question in her thoughts "Now come to think of it you never told us about the person you will give it to I wonder who is it? Mind telling us Y/N?"

The moment you heard shinobu's question you immediately froze on spot while Aoi temporarily stopped baking since she was also curious about the answer you will provide, They stared at you with curiousity and you are just continuously sweating deciding whether you should tell them or not.

The room was too quiet because you are refusing to answer so shinobu jumped to conclusions as she gasped "Don't Tell me it's Tomioka!" "Iguro!" You quickly got on your feet as you slightly bowed to him apologizing for accidentally running into him, "Keep your head up Y/N, It's fine."

You slightly blushed just by hearing his Voice, who wouldn't? he's hot

You then thought about the box of chocolate resting in your hand and since he was already here you might aswell just give him the chocolate and confess your feelings for him that is bottled up for years.

Though it was clear to you that he likes someone else

But taking the risk is not bad is it?

"It's been a while Iguro..I-" You are so lost in your thoughts that you didn't notice him walking away "eh?" You are a bit confused at first since he was fast then you shook your head and raised your voice loud enough for him to hear you "Wait Iguro!", Iguro continued walking as if you didn't called out for him "I'm busy."

"But it's important!" After hearing the word 'Important' he stopped walking. as much as he doesn't want to waste his time because he have a date with mitsuri He decided to hear you out "Make it quick, I still have to go to Kocho's mansion to retrieve my forgotten item and a schedule to attend."

You then took out a letter from your pockets and placed it on top of the box of chocolate that you are going to give him and slowly walked towards him

"This is for you.." You said shyly as you handed him the box of chocolate with the letter, he stared at you with disgust before taking the chocolate and letter you gave him

"What's this for?" He asked as kaburamaru tried to get closer to the chocolate, you gave kaburamaru a head pat that he seems to have enjoy "For valentine's" you responded.

"Get your filthy hands off kaburamaru." You were a bit taken aback by his words since before he really didn't mind you petting kaburamaru infact he even lets you have kaburamaru on your neck for days "Oh I'm sorry.." After you stopped petting kaburamaru he was upset and hissed at Iguro

"and about the letter... it's about what I feel for you for these past fe-"

"I don't have time to listen to your non-sense."

He dropped the chocolate box as he ripped the letter apart leaving you flabbergasted, "Weakness disgust me in other words YOU disgust me. You are just a kinoe so stop talking to me so casually." Even kaburamaru was shock that he had had wide eyes

But why? I was there for you when you had nothing

"I see... I'm sorry for bothering you."

"You should be, I'm only accepting letters and chocolate from mitsuri so if you don't mind I'll be taking my leave." You gave him a slight nod with a smile and before Iguro was about to leave he gave you his final rejection words "I can't love someone who's as weak as you." He then disappeared while you are still standing at the same spot where the man you love and admired for years rejected you worse is that he even bad mouthed you.

You are holding back tears while a million thoughts raced in your head

Was I ever enough?

But why I was there??

I was the one who helped you escape

FLASHBACK:

"this flower reminds me of you! It's so pretty"

"You think I'm Pretty?" You asked as he nodded happily, he placed the flowers in your hair as you return him a gentle smile, Iguro sticking his arms out of his cage is easier due to the fact of how big the gap is and he was skinny at the time

You and Iguro could hear distance noises which mean someone is about to come at Iguro's cage so you quickly had to leave before the both of you get caught

"I'm sorry Iguro, I'll be back I promise.."

"Wait before you go!" He held your hand tightly from the behind his cage as he looked at you looking a little shy

"If we ever get out of this hell... Promise me that we will get married someday"

"Hello Y/N, how are you?"

Hearing a familiar voice you snapped out of your own thoughts from the past and stared at the man who is now in front of you

The man Infront of you is Giyuu tomioka, The water hashira himself.

"Oh Tomioka!" You slightly bowed greeting him "Are you going to Shinobu?"

"Yes but since you are also here, I have something for you"

He then pulled out a small bouquet of flowers from the bag he is holding and handed them to you, at first you are shock that he would give you something like that so you had your hand on your mouth

"is this really okay?" You asked before taking the flowers, "Yes, it's for you"

With your delusional brain you thought that he had a crush on you or this was his way of saying "I like you" so you slightly blushed at the thought and was happy that after all these years someone is able to love you

Oh boy how wrong you are

"Tanjiro told me I should give these to the other hashira to make friends"

"But I'm a kinoe?" You tilted your head in confusion while holding the flowers he just gave you, Giyuu stared at you for a while before answering "I know but I acknowledge your strength so I'm giving you one." He gently patted your head before walking away not noticing the smile he had on his face

However his words aren't useful

You still thought to yourself that you are nothing but a weak human being

After all if you are really strong you could of have been a hashira yeah? But you are just a kinoe.

Back at your estate, you are just in your garden sulking even your crow is concerned

"Mitsuri! I didn't expect you to visit all of the sudden" you wiped off the tears in your eyes and fixed your hair that is a bit messy because of the wind "I'm sorry if you have to see me like this"

"she won't stop sulking for hours! I told you she's crazy I'm leaving her to you!" The crow then flied far away from both you and mitsuri

"see you like what? I don't get what you are talking about your face is still shining as bright" she approached you closer and sat Infront of you after she sat Infront of you she tucked your hair behind your ears as her eyes stared deeply into yours "Your beauty is really incomparable"

What's the meaning of this?

Flattered by her words you couldn't find the right words to say "a-aren't you supposed to be on a date with aguro? I mean oguro? No.. Obama!" You are too much of a mess to say Iguro's name right

Mitsuri let out a light hearted laugh upon seeing your reaction that she thinks it's adorable "Well..I didn't really think that it was a date I thought we were only hanging out as friends until he told me confessed about his feelings for me..." She paused for a little smiling at you "But of course I rejected him because I want you!"

This isn't right

"Aren't we both women?" You asked nervously, mitsuri put her finger on your lips as a signal of 'Shush' "So what now if we are both women? It's not a crime to love each other"

"but what about Iguro?" A question after a question though mitsuri doesn't mind answering all of your questions even if it seems like there is no end to your questions "He doesn't matter now does he?"

She said that as if it was a normal thing, "Anyways! I'm excited for you to open this gift of mine! Open it" mitsuri handed you her gift and this made you curious of what's inside so you unwrapped it slowly trying not to damage what's inside.

After unwrapping it you found a tulip hairpin inside of it and it was stunning "This is really pretty mitsuri! Thank you" you gave her a warm smile while hugging her which made mitsuri die in happiness

Mitsuri was delighted that you appreciated her gift so she returned the hug by embracing you more tightly! She almost crushed you to death btw

After pulling away from the hug mitsuri asked you if she could put the hairpin on your hair to which you agreed to, she then gently placed the hairpin on your preferred spot

"do you wanna know why I choosed a tulip hairpin?" She asked while she's still fixing your hair, "why?"

"it's to represent my deep love for you!" She stated with a big smile on her face, to be honest you really don't know what to feel because you didn't expect for a Woman (Especially mitsuri) to take a liking to you but then again you decided to give mitsuri a chance because like she said 'Gender doesn't matter as long as the both of you truly love each other'

"I know you are confused right now Y/N but my love for you is real and I'm not expecting you to reciprocate it I just wanted you to know" her words caught you off guard "I also want you to know that if nobody can settle down with you I will!"

After iguro's harsh words you no longer feel bad about yourself thanks to mitsuri, you are about to say something until she spoke first

"I have a question for you Y/N"

"Yes?"

"Can I court you?"
