Finally got around to watching Black Panther Wakanda Forever and while I think there were major problems with editing and sound design, seeing Namor on screen.....He's my favourite marvel character and they did him so much justice omg Tenoch Huerta was absolutely perfect.

#bp wf #legitimately obsessed with Namor's fight scenes especially when he was flying #I love how it looked like he was ice skating #a shame when I go into his tag though and its just all that shipping nonsense #only problem with him being in this movie was that its made him mainstream I guess

the more I think about it the more certain I am that Wakanda Forever is the best MCU movie. The only one that could possibly be its rival is The Avengers (2012). The only drawbacks are the ones imposed by Feige (aka, ignoring Endgame and the blip)

Using grimm as the "face" of the White Fang is some accidental genius on ShawLuna's part. Grimm are drawn to negative emotions, the White Fang is drawn to inequality, and what exemplifies both more being enslaved and abused in one of the most grueling lines of labor to ever exist?

(spoilers of black panther 2) breaks my heart to think that Queen Ramonda and Nakia lost T'challa three times: in Black Panther 1 when he "died", after Thanos' Snap and now😭😭And Shuri didn't survived in Thanos snap so Queen Ramonda lost her 2 CHILDREN at same time for 5 years ultil they came back😭😭😭

I'm glad you brought this up!!! Queen Ramonda and Shuri deserved some time for healing together!!! I would really love it if they brought back Angela Bassett in like the multiverse type of way (like maybe from another dimension where thanos' snap had never been undone? and like Queen Ramonda from that dimension maybe gave the country over to like M'Baku and came to our dimension??)

Once again thinking about Namor in BP WF and I honestly wish there were more scenes with him and Queen Ramonda. Like their interactions were so vastly different to that of Namor and Shuri and I just wish we really could've seen two established and powerful leaders going up against each other

Shuri was gonna [redacted] herself in the riverbank. The water. Where her mother said to sit and heal. Where Namor was.

And for her... the place where peace could find her [redacted].

Got emboldened to post this snippet:

Shuri, in a large bathtub filled to the brim with water,

contemplating, and then immersing her whole body

and she doesn't come up for air

for so long that Griot has sent alerts to General Ayo and the nearest Dora.

She has succumbed to a death sleep.

Princess Shuri has been trying to [redacted] herself for some time now.

The last member of the Golden Tribe. The Black Panther.

She was the queen who abdicated, the daughter who was now orphaned.

She just wanted to see it for herself. Her family... on the other side.

It was either the ancestral plane or the end of this grief.

She thought of only those two choices. There is no losing.

Nakia arrives. A boy with her.

Shuri never permitted to be awoken.

So she doesn't see.

Namor arrives. An army with him.

She was just stuck in an empty, black plane. It was infinity.

She doesn't see.

Then she returns.

She's awake when the terror of nightmares comes to her.

Namor sits on the throne and he is not alone.

Now she sees, the boy standing tall... Finally.

Shuri doesn't know how long yet, but it already felt to her like forever.

She had morphed into someone physically weak. Limp limbs, taut and swollen skin.

Her hair had grown past her shoulders, because she had slept too long.

While Prince T'Challa, son of King T'Challa, turned ten.
