The po3 apprentice generation

In canon the po3 apprentice group is already very large, but in WQAU it also has Dovepaw and Ivypaw, bringing the total up to 11 cats (counting Jaypaw) which is a bit insane and makes the number of Thunderclan kitties go up like crazy.

SO I'm going to try and thin out their numbers a bit over the course of Po3/OotS just to keep the clan numbers manageable.

To clarify their ages, when the main 5 become apprentices at 6 moons, Honeypaw, Poppypaw, and Cinderpaw are on the cusp of 12 moons old, almost ready to be warriors. and Berrypaw and Hazelpaw are 9 moons old.

Mousepaw gets snapped, he doesn't exist anymore (as much as I love his twin thing he's got going on with Hazeltail he literally does nothing the entire series) sorry!

During Eclipse, when a few cats in camp were lying in the sun on the rocks, Millie was out of the nursery sunning and nursing her young kits. Berrynose sees a snake nearing the kits and dies protecting them. Her mate dying causes Poppyfrost to leave the clan out of grief, Honeyfern was never romatically involved with Berrynose but she was a close friend to him and requests to change her name to Honeyberry to honor him.

By the way, I've chosen to make Berrypaw/nose a pretty popular and usually cool guy except when it comes to Lionpaw/storm, they mutually despise each other and literally cannot be within 5 meters of each other without getting into a fight.

I chose to kill Berrynose in Eclipse because if I used the snake thing in Sunrise like it is in canon, around 5 cats would die/leave Thunderclan in one book, which wouldn't really work. So pushing forward the snake event to Eclipse just fits better for WQAU.

Berrynose dying and Poppyfrost leaving in Eclispe changes a lot of stuff from canon and causes a bit of a butterfly effect so here's a list of extra stuff that's been changed because of that. Honeyberry is now the mother of Cherryfall and Molewhisker with Harespring/star as their father, and she travels to the moonpool while pregnant to ask forgiveness for her halfclan relationship when she is attacked by Breezecloud (Leafpool is there too and she ends up whooping Brokenstar's ass and tells Breezecloud to fuck off). Hollyclaw was the one to gather the deathberries that are used to try and kill the snake, so she remembers where she can find them when she uses them to threaten Leafpool in Sunrise. Bumblestripe takes over Berrynose's role in TBC and is killed by Tawnyclaw.

Dovewing dies in Long Shadows, Hollyclaw is crushed at the end of Sunrise, and Jayfeather and [spoiler name] both leave Thunderclan at the end of Sunrise and between po3 and oots respectively (I'll talk about the other cat who leaves Thunderclan later but for now I'm going to keep it as a secret >:3)

So by the end of OotS, there are only four cats out of the apprentices generation still around in Thunderclan!

Troubleshooting

The question is not if a control circuit will fail, but when it will fail. When a control circuit malfunctions, one of the primary responsibilities of an industrial electrician is to troubleshoot and fix it. To repair or replace a damaged component, it is required to first identify which component is at problem. The voltmeter, ohmmeter, and ammeter are the three major tools used by an electrician to diagnose a circuit. Voltmeters and ohmmeters are commonly seen in the same meter (Figure 49–1). These meters are known as multimeters because they can measure a variety of electrical values. Plunger voltage testers are used by certain electricians because they are not vulnerable to ghost voltages. Because of feedback and induction, high impedance voltmeters frequently indicate some amount of voltage. Plunger voltage testers have a low impedance and just a few milliamperes to function. The downside of plunger type voltage testers is that they cannot be used to test low voltage control systems, such as 24 volt systems.

Hey Dad, (Climbing in Tasmania)

Hey dad, I got back on Sunday and found time on the bus back to Hobart. I thought I’d give you a little write up to go with the rock I chose for you, if you’re interested.

On Friday the two vans left the campsite at st Mary’s after we finished climbing at ‘South Sister’. It’s a small formation of columned dolerite that rises above the Fingal Valley. To the south from the peak we could see the granite domes across Coles Bay, where we’d climbed two days prior. The past day was spent jamming up mossy, crumbly, rock (slightly fryable, as they say). We were tired from trekking the crag: under boulders, through scrub, and wherever the guidebooks took us. The fog and rain was rolling in at South Sister too, so we had to pick a new destination.

Anywhere with crack climbing was prioritised and the forecast suggested clear skies at Ben Lomond National Park, that’s where we headed. We were a party of 6: Tim, Xanthea, Nick, Alex, Jack, & myself; stuffed into two camper vans and filled with tuna avo wraps and pressed coffee.

The north side of the plateau seemed favourable since the approach to climb was shorter and there were more routes to scout out. Alex and I were partners and the plan was to follow nick and Jack up a 3 pitch multi called ‘Rajah’. We hoped a bit of orienteering would help us find a path off the plateau via one of the scree gulleys. Low lying windswept brush poured between the pillars and onto the field of monolithic boulders. We knew roughly that these streaks of foliage on the mountain would be our walk off. After 2 hours walking in and racking up we started climbing. I led the first pitch with good pace and Alex blitzed up without a hitch. He led second pitch and encountered a totally relentless line; 40 meters of mixed size cracks with overhanging jam moves and tiny foothold rests; an exhausting and properly freaky lead. He crushed it. 3rd pitch was mine. It was the longest, easiest, and had the shittiest sunburnt choss hanging off the face (which required quite a bit more gear to protect properly) After 5 hours we reached the top and followed rock cairns to what we hoped was the right gulley. Plenty of down climbing through flowering bushes and wallaby tracks brought us back at the car park by 6pm.

The rock i picked up is a bit of weathered diorite (I think, you tell me) flaked from the top of the plateau at Ben Lomond. Because everything was covered in lichen and battered by the wind it was a little tricky find one that looked nice, so Alex and I had a competition to find the nicest looking rock.
