Sun Luzhen is created this way in some aus + in the main TMKATI au. ↳"#century stone egg au" aka "#SWK is MK's stone egg dad theory au" - exactly what it says on the tin. SWK inducing the process out of loneliness/desire to be a parent = MK's egg. The modern gang hangs out on the island with him once he gets unburied. Has vibes of a flipped TMKATI au. ↳"#jttw stone egged au" - Turns out being trapped under Five Point Mountain is the perfect trigger conditions for SWK's body to create a Stone Egg. He spends the Journey pregnant and very pissed off. +↳"#slow boiled stone egg au" - an Au of an Au. In which Wukong's stone egg-pregnancy during the Journey is extended by many years from him deciding to isolate himself after the Samadhi Fire incident + the death of Macaque. By the time of the canon LMK series, SWK has been pregnant for many, many years, and still is. MK is very confused and horrified.
Memes & Misc Addons:
●"#memes" - main memes tag. ●Love Dodecahedron Chart (spoilers) ●POV: You just said you were hungry within 10 miles of Pigsy ●Nezha: Ultimate Babysitter
Be sure to send in asks about any details that may be unclear, I've only just gotten back into fic-writing, and it's my first time dedicating some blog time to one.
Update (2): Deleted links to some older posts that dont fit the current state of the main au and added a Other Aus section.

Runaway Chapter 4: Poison_Part 2
Summary: Lilia tries to speak with Malleus about everything. But will Malleus listen?
<-Previous Chapter
Master List
Ao3
Notes: *I had to split this as Tumblr no long takes long posts *Twst spoilers for Chapter/Book 7
For a moment, Lilia looked as if he had been struck. He stumbled back a step. His heart stopped as, for a second, the world lost sound and color.
There was a beat before Lilia was able to snap back to reality.
Once he did, his ruby gaze dropped, shame and guilt sitting on each shoulder.
“I…” He swallowed as his throat grew thick before forcing the words out. “I had to.” He lifted a hand to rub some feeling back into his arm, which had gone numb.
Lilia knew this talk was coming, but he didn’t think it would be so soon.
“...You were already against humans as it was back then. You blamed them for everything you lost and thought they were just verminous savages that destroyed everything they touched,” he explained as if to justify himself. He couldn’t lift his head to look at the other, and his body slumped forward as he thought of his son. His son, who had gone and... “I didn’t want you to hate Silver for something he was innocent of.”
Malleus’ lips pulled back to reveal his fangs.
“His father killed my mother,” he growled, his voice rumbling. Against the stone, his hand curled into fists. Lilia’s head shot up.
“Malleus--”
“His father killed my mother--” Malleus repeated, lashing an arm out and interrupting the other before he could speak. Lilia had to leap away to avoid the attack. “--invaded our territory, attacked our people--And yet you raised his child?!”
B O O M!
As his temper flared, the storm outside grew stronger. The light of its lightning filled the room with white, illuminating Malleus’ fury and Lilia’s shock and guilt.
At first, Lilia stepped back, but then he stepped forward, a fire in his chest.
“Malleus, calm down! Silver had nothing to do with any of that!” he yelled to be heard over the bellow of the storm and the screech of the wind, which rattled the windows. The flame spread throughout the rest of Lilia’s body, giving him the strength to stand up for his son. His.
“Silver never did anything!” he told the other. “You can’t hold him accountable for things that happened before he was even born!”
“He still carries his blood,” Malleus hissed, his tone cracking like fire. “How could you--”
“He was a freaking baby lying alone in a cursed castle! If I hadn’t, he would have died!”
“That’s—”
“What, Malleus?!” Lilia challenged. He stepped forward. Malleus stepped back, away from the window. “That’s what?! He was a child, a baby! A baby who never did anything wrong!”
Indeed, Silver never committed any sin. He was a sweet, loving child who did his best to help those around him and was kind to even the cruelest soul. Silver was passionate and only desired the strength to care for others. He didn't deserve the blame of others. To be held accountable for the wrongs of his fathers, to suffer--
Lilia tried to calm his temper, but it was hard.
He felt like he had to fight for Silver, but at the same time, he knew that fighting wasn’t what anyone needed.
After all, Malleus was suffering as well.
Malleus had just learned two horrible truths that Lilia always knew would break the young prince.
He had realized his life came at the cost of another's life span, someone he cared for enough to blot over and nearly die at his phantom's hands. On top of that, the dragon learned that a child he loved was descended from the ones who stole everything from him.
What Malleus needed wasn't an enemy right now. He needed a friend, someone to care for him.
Lilia took a breath.
“I know you’re angry at me, and you have every right to be,” he emphasized. “But I never wanted to hurt you.” He reached out again, trying to let his love reach the child he spent so long trying to hatch. Malleus dodged the touch.
Malleus didn’t want to accept anything from the bat right now. He was angry. He was upset. More than that, he was hurt.
“You lied to me.” Lilia betrayed him. Malleus and his family. He deceived Malleus all this time, even though the dragon trusted him more than anything. All for that human.
He turned and walked away from Lilia until he was standing before the fireplace.
The flames cricked and cackled as they flickered, their light creating tall shadows from the grate that loomed over the two like witnesses to a crime.
Lilia followed Malleus, trying to reason with him. When he spoke, his tone was desperate.
“I did it for you.” Malleus scoffed, causing the other to droop. “And for myself,” he admitted.
“Before your father died, he left a dream that humans and fae could live together in peace. I tried to share that dream, but... Lilia's eyes dropped as he lifted a hand to rub a stiff neck. “ As I said, you hated humans. And I worried that one day that hatred would grow and history would repeat itself.
“But that changed when you met Silver.” Despite everything, Lilia smiled softly at the memory.
Malleus had been surprised to see his guardian holding a human baby that day. He was distasteful at the sight, but as soon as Lilia shoved Silver into his arms, the fierce dragon instantly softened to mush. That was the first time Lilia had hope that Malleus could change.
“Despite just meeting Silver and your prejudices, you instantly began to worry for him. You came by just to see how he was and how he was growing. You made sure he was eating alright, praised him as he learned to walk and fight, and taught him to use his magic.” He lifted his head and beamed, a soft chuckle dancing from his lips.
“You even came to a college full of humans,” he hummed. “All because you found you were able to care for one.”
Malleus’ face scrunched as he fought back tears. The memory of the other brought up feelings of love and care for the human babe, but they were quickly burned by his anger and pain.
“But it was all a lie,” he said, rejecting the feeling Lilia tried to offer.
“You misled me. Had I known the truth, known who he was, I never—I never--” Malleus choked back a sob as his body quaked, unable to hold in his emotions.
“Never would have cared for him?” Lilia finished for him, his face cool and his voice hard as stone. He folded his arms across his chest and stood to his full height. Despite it not being as impressive as the other’s, it had the desired effect.
“I know. I knew that if you knew the truth, you never would have even given that child a chance.” Lilia lifted a hand to his head, his mind beginning to spin from stress. He closed his eyes to combat the oncoming migraine.
“What do you want, Malleus? Do you want to kill Silver for something his father did?!” But hadn’t Lilia been the same? Hadn’t he played with the idea of killing the boy to get revenge for all that was lost?
At his words, Malleus’ skin lost its color as his jaw clenched.
The dragon fell silent and turned away, staring intently at the flame as the fire inside him ate away.
The pain bubbled and boiled inside him until his body felt like a pot about to boil over. It was so intense that Malleus worried he would blot over again.
Instead, Malleus did much worse.
“I wish you never found him,” he said, the words cracking like his heart. His hair hid his wet eyes. “I wish you had never brought him into our lives.” Each word was like a drip of poison.
A part of him felt this was a lie. Another part meant every word.
If Lilia hadn’t brought Silver into his life—had Lilia not allowed him to care for that human—then his heart wouldn’t be aching the way it was.
He wouldn’t be in so much pain.
The silence that fell was thick. Even the rumbling of the storm outside couldn’t pierce it.
Neither move. Neither spoke. Neither looked at the other.
Finally, the world shattered like glass.
“Well—” Lilia said, voice shaking with emotion, his lips curling in a sneer. “Then perhaps it’s a good thing Silver’s gone.”
There was a clack of heels as Lilia turned away, then the groan of the door, followed by a SLAM!
Then there was nothing.
Krrr, krrk, fssh...
Malleus never turned away from the flickering flames before him. His brow wrinkled as he fought back the tears, which made his eyes shine like glass.
Outside, lightning clashed. Thunder roared. The wind screeched as it raked past the window like claws.
Finally, the world became too much for him.
Malleus’ face collapsed into his hands as his emotions came pouring out.
“AUGHH--!”
~To be continued...~
Next ->
So. Nice talk, huh? I mean, Lilia didn't get hit by lightning, so that's something...
Anyway, we catch up with our runaway next time, so stay tuned!

Here a idea
Tumblr media
I couldn't help but think about is that such if mk is a representation of sun luzhen, mk is not literally sun luzhen. But it still takes many points from the story of the spiritual successor of the Monkey King, as an allegory
Example sun luzhen was born of a rock like sun wukong
And then I thought it would happen if there's more than one performance of all the sun wukong children: yuebei Xing, king paramita luohou and Jidu
Tumblr media
For example
Luohou and Jidu:
could be represented by rumble and savage
Tumblr media
I don't know who could represent yuebei maybe a new character or something
Tumblr media
Now about king paramita
Tumblr media
I know that technically he does not count because it is an illusion of yaoguai qing fish but I have an interesting idea about how king paramita could be represented in program and it is
Tumblr media
What if the paramita king is depicted asa general ink that somehow ends up absorbing sun wukong's powers and gains consciousness in the process, but still on the enemy side, I think it would fit perfectly asa representation of the paramita king, I mean he's a general, he has four brothers, and also basically because the paramita king is not statically real and in a supplement to the journey to the west is just an illusion of qing fish, Created to confuse and manipulate sun wukong

Hi, do you have any theories about Rumble and Savage? How do you think they could appear on the show?
I would love to hear your theories/ideas on Rumble and savage
Hello! Keep in mind I am not exactly a dedicated fan, more of a lurker. If we start at how Rumble and Savage came to be, I theorised that they were made from Macaque's remains, because that monkey DID die, whether SWK was the culprit or not, so the two monkeys were made from his flesh and bones, with some bit of DNA from SWK maybe a stand of hair, for his power. I want at least one of them, preferably Rumble, to be vehemently hostile towards Macaque the same way he was towards SWK previously, for funny irony, because they blame him for their existence, because being created into life as someone's tool with no say over your own life and ending up with your progenitor's emotional baggage as your own would send anyone into a bit of rage really. And LBD is definitely involved with their creation, directly or indirectly.
While the project succeeded, Rumble and Savage's creation was NOT intended. The entity that was supposed to be the end result ended up splitting into two to stabilised itself and the overwhelming power it was infused with, so the twins were created with their powers halved from its original strength, which they make up for with innate telepathic mind link they have with each other and extremely resilient healing. They looks so similar to each other that the only way to tell them apart outside of battle is how they carry themselves.
The twins were born with Macaque's traits but divided between them, so you have Rumble, who ended with Macaque's baggage and anger issues, and Savage, who got his more quiet traits and introspective nature. Think of the Elric brothers from FMA Brotherhood anime. Thought born at the same time, Rumble declared himself as the older twin while Savage is the younger one, and looks after her in his own way.
Rumble is a he/they, slightly shorter than his twin, and isn't shy about being loud and venting his anger at anyone he can get away with. He lashes out very easily, but also would run out of steam for it quickly if the situation doesn't provoke him constantly so. He tends to stew on his emotions if not given an outlet for them, but is surprisingly more open with his thoughts and feeling, whether asked about them or not, though very violently. He's picks fight very easily and quite enjoys it, and is confrontational enough to seek them out if he feels ignored. Though he does have a soft spot for his "sister", and is more likely to listen to her first. Uses a chain whip as a weapon and his shadow powers to keep his opponents off balance while he attacks them easily.
Savage is a she/they, a bit taller than her twin, is seemingly ironic with her name as she's quite hesitant and more polite compared to her twin, but as she doesn't enjoy fighting and dragging things out the same way her twin does, despite her timid and meek demeanour, she'll act on her missions in a brutally efficient and ruthlessly relentless manner, just to get them over with. She holds herself back quite often when it comes to her thoughts and opinions, repressing herself until it boils over into something explosive. Rumble was the only at first who can spot her tipping point before she snaps and get her to let it out before that happens. She can be quite surprisingly cruel and terribly blunt with expressing her opinions even if she doesn't realised it. Uses sickles as her weapons and her shadow powers to keep her opponents in place for her to attack without them moving away.
They're both incredibly bitter due to being forced into a life of servitude against their will since birth, with a deep existential anger about their existence on Rumble's part. Rumble has a deep hate towards Macaque, seeing him as the reason for their painful creation and will not rest until the Macaque is dead or at least suffers for their pain. Savage is more open to cooperation and truce than her twin and does not share his violent fixation on Macaque and is less likely to be aggressive from the get-go, but is just as wary in letting others in. They both have an unhealthy co-dependancy with each other due to the nature of their lives, and while Savage really wants more to her life and not be alone, she's just as afraid to be let down.
If they were introduced into the show, they'd be the antagonists lackeys, tasked to obtain items and fight the enemies, in this case the Monkie crew. They'd hint themself by only being seen in mobs and in the background at first, until the first "quiet" adventure happens and they reveal themselves fully. In the fights, Rumble would be more focused on Macaque if he's involved, but would strongly enjoy himself toying with his opponents while Savage is less likely to get carried away by her emotions and would focus more on completing the mission hand.
For their redemption arc, it's more of a healing arc, with Rumble learning to let go of his hatred and rage towards Macaque as an unhealthy coping mechanism, and Savage would try to learn to let her guard down around other people other than Rumble.
Rumble and Savage both enjoy savory food, though the former has quite a sweet tooth. Rumble has Macaque's love for the theatre and enjoys acting out the roles, while Savage is content to be merely a spectator. They both can be very dramatic, especially more so when they feel safe, with inside jokes only they get. They both can be quite mischievous and enjoy pranks as well, though Savage is better at covering up their tracks.
That's all I've got! Sorry if it doesn't reach your expectations. Have a good day!

I always hc when Macaque has a child it’s like how ninjasmudge does in the double trouble au, where when he’s given too much magic (his magic core is unstable since his resurrection so he needs to be recharged like a battery) his body treats it like how pregnancy works and he develops a baby! Wukong can’t have babies but he can have kids, he just kinda throws his magic at the earth and hopes a child pops out of the rocks (it kinda follows cannon, since both he and MK were born from rock) it’s not effective and it’s very destructive, MK being the only child he was able to make. So when cannon Macaque and Wukong show up they warn sundown Macaque and Wukong that if you give to much of your magic to Macaque he could end up pregnant! So be careful!
I actually (kinda) have a fic of that!! Its right here so if ur interested in an au where Macaque raises rumble and savage (along with Bai he) then this is the fic for you!

I hunger for more AU what happens to the antagonists in the Reincarnation AU
Ooh, good question :)
(Note I has Edited this)
So pretty much all the villains in the show got reincarnated via the spell and I guess this is going to explain what their reincarnated selves are like:
Jin and Yin became con artists though they somehow got their hands on some pretty useful mythical artifacts
PIF became an infamous thief known as Ironfan and she steals priceless and ancient artifacts from all over the world
DBK became Wukong's landlord and he's less of a villain this time around because his brother plays a much more antagonist role (for reasons I'll explain later)
Red Son isn't an antagonist in this au because Mei and MK befriended him when they were younger. They were more of a skating rival.
Spider Queen is an alchemist and due to her being born with six arms (she's half spider demon) she got treated rather harshly as a child and so now she's hellbent on turning everyone into spider demons like herself and ruling over them. She's also tricked the other spiders into working for her promising them each something that she'll give them once she rules the city.
Syntax wants someone to fund his research and tech and Spider Queen promised him that so he joined her.
Spindrax is just in it for the chaos and to watch her brother's back (her brother is Syntax)
Huntsman is a creepy dude (like horror movie villain creepy) and he is also an assassin. He joined Spider Queen for the money.
Strong Spider joined Spider Queen because he thinks that she'll make the city a better place. He's also a select mute in this au. He's also the only one in the spider gang that started out as a full Spider demon.
Scorpion Queen is still a Scorpion demon but she looks different now. She really just wants a good friend as she was always betrayed by her friends in the past which caused her to go a little mad in her search for the perfect friend aka she's a bit insane not going to lie
LBD and the Mayor are mafia members.
The Mayor is Bai He (LBD's hostess) dad and he was an okay dude but when his wife divorced him he got angry and LBD manipulated that anger and got him to join her and her mafia family.
LBD grew up in the bad parts of the city and vowed to make the city a better place so she became a politician but when that didn't work she sought out a future seer and asked them if she could ever change the city. The seer pointed her towards a life of crime and so LBD started her own mafia family. (She's also meant to be a mirror of Wukong in this as a way to contrast how Wukong could have turned out or how LBD could have turned out so they have similar childhoods).
However, LBD didn't get a chance to complete her mission as a young cop named Ba (See the reincarnation of General Ba from JTTW) shot and killed her in a cop vs mafia family shootout. This of course crushed the (not) Mayor and so he spent the next several years trying to find a way to bring her back, which he does eventually, but in the process, he ended up distancing himself from his daughter.
The camel ridge trio technically never got released from the scroll because everyone died before the events of season 4 could happen but they actually do show up because a mystery villain shows up and uses them like pawns to knock some sense into the celestial realm.
(Bonus) Macaque isn't really a villain in this au as he's more of a lancer for Wukong but, but he does get antagonistic moments as he keeps getting fucking possessed or his powers go out of control. Macaque's whole deal is that before he died against the possessed Monkey King he sent out Rumble and Savage to find him once he was reincarnated and give him back his powers (which they did) but while also giving him back his powers he got his memories back as well. Anyways by wizard rules in this universe, Macaque becomes a wizard. However, fun fact, he's wanted for grand theft auto (Ba hates him for this but hey, cars are cool).
(woah so long) But yeah this is what happens to all the villains in the Reincarnation au however I do add plenty more villains to the plot to keep it moving forward.

I really hope macaque's death was by his own hand.
Like a Disney villain
What you mean with that, well, love when the villain's actions end up causing his own destruction, I love that so much, it's so charming and poetic.
So here's a theory
Macaco's shadow powers are not original to him, he was not born with those powers, just like sun wukong, macaco learned from them somewhere maybe a demon taught macaco about them, but told him that those powers come with a curse. From time to time diyu chains would come to look for it, But it would only be once and can escape the chains if it is veils or struggle hard enough
So the chains appear to take him to the diyu at the worst possible time.
After losing his battle against sun wukong (which started because monkey attacked the tripitaka monk) monkey cannot move because he is exhausted and cannot teleport because he has no strength,
He tries to escape and ask sun wukong for help, but he had already left, Not knowing that macaque was sent to the diyu.
Ooooo you know @maidenofthecloud @ar-blackshaw came up with this really neat theory awhile ago that LEMH had made a deal with the Red Python Demon to get his shadow powers, as if memory serves correctly that snake was a pretty vicious yaoguai that had powers over darkness and reasons for a massive grudge against SWK (and could have potentially helped explain/helped create LEMH's henchmonkeys Rumble and Savage from the lego sets if Flying Bark had included them in the cartoon, as those two monkey yao do have some pretty snake-like fangs in addition to their red and black coloring).
Also I have to say I quite like proposal for what happens to the shadow simian here, as it does fit quite well with the Six-Eared Macaque of the og classic likely being partially an embodiment of the Buddhist saying (and I'm likely getting this somewhat wrong) that teachings should not be transmitted to the third ear; that is, teachings can only be best understood if transmitted from shifu to tudi, and someone else listening in on that private conversation or getting it secondhand won't truly understand what's being said. So since one proposal for how LEMH was able to copy SWK so perfectly was due to his ears letting him listen in on everything the Monkey King was saying and doing, including his lessons on gaining immortality from Puti Zushi, but in his actions was very much little more than a twisted version of SWK, that could very much explain how he was able to cultivate an imperfect form of immortality where instead of just having to avoid the three calamities and be immortal forever after he has to frequently avoid chains from diyu. This proposal could also make SWK at least a little bit less of an entire a-hole than the lego show as it currently stands would seem to suggest, as it's become downright baffling and pretty frustrating the level to which LEMH fully believes SWK killed him for purely selfish reasons & has spent like 3/4th of his screentime yelling about how horrible the monkey king is (but suddenly changed his mind about that & decided that his monkey king induced death wasn't worth mentioning even when asked directly lol) and yet for the entire show SWK has acted like nothing that bad happened lmao.
Also tbh it could make for a pretty neat story for LEMH if he gained an ally or even a genuine friend in the Red Python Demon but then left the snake to go confront SWK on the journey & then abandoned the serpent completely once he died & became violently obsessed with getting revenge on the monkey king in a parallel to what SWK seems to have done to him, & then got a chance to acknowledge that and start making a life for himself outside of the monkey king's orbit. Said it before, but I do think it sucks that there's still like nothing defining LEMH's life outside of his obsession with SWK, & I genuinely think it would do both him & SWK's characters a world of good if they were given opportunities to grow outside of each other's influence instead of the plot now routinely forcing them to interact.

I like royal stories, power struggles are another kind of battle. When Jinzi was born was there any problem? I mean royalty is usually demanding that a king's firstborn must be a boy in order for him to inherit the throne. Maybe Jinzi being a girl could not inherit the throne.
Well at first, Macaque's father was disappointed at the result. Wukong's family on the mountain wasn't one for royal customs and were overjoyed that a royal child had been born at all. PIF and DBK (who were well-acquainted with the couple), were unsure how to feel about a firstborn daughter, but let it be after seeing how overjoyed they were.
Although both Macaque and Wukong had no problem with having their firstborn being female, Macaque's father was always one to follow tradition. It took him a while to get used to the idea that Macaque was being courted by Wukong, much less that his son would be the one to bear children.
In this au as well, Savage and Rumble used to be actual macaques in the kingdom, in fact they were Macaque's siblings. I won't dig too deep into that for now.
Unfortunately, Rumble had passed on when Jīnzi was born, and Savage always followed her father's footsteps since she was a cub. She already despised Wukong for ruining her brother's chance at the throne (said brother being Macaque not Rumble-), and hearing that their firstborn was a girl only sent her into a raging state.
It may seem odd, since she's also a girl, but Savage never wanted her father's throne. She was hoping to see either of her brother's take the title of king, but now not even her eldest brother would have a chance at having the kingdom, much less her niece.
It took Macaque weeks to convince his father that it was fine, but Savage was a different story. She wouldn't give in for months, and after visiting the macaque kingdom with both Wukong and Jīnzi did she truly snap.
When she saw that Wukong arrived, she challenged him to a duel, with the conditions being that if she won, Wukong would leave Macaque and Jīnzi in their care while he lived on his own once more. If he won, then she would accept what has become of her brother like her father did.
Now, we all know Macaque fights dirty. But Savage? Oh, she's a fucking monster when she fights. Unlike Macaque, who learned how to fight with magic from their mother, she and Rumble learned to fight with weapons from their father.
It only took Macaque to intervene in order for either side to stop themselves from fighting to the death.
Yes there was a lot of arguing between the siblings. Yes they cried the longer they argued. Yes their father tried to put in thought in only to get yelled at as well. Yes Wukong was utterly lost in the whole thing.
In the end, Savage accepted the child into their family, and even swore to protect her with her life. She still hated Wukong but that didn't matter too much.
Although Macaque and Wukong knew she couldn’t be an heir, they cherished her nevertheless.

He had shown him an almost gentle affection up to this point; rough hands, scouring fingers, yet never quite so devastating as the way he tore apart his prey. This night sees a shift in his once restrained behavior. Absence may see the heart grow fonder, for Severen it has made him savage. There is a hard sheen in cloudless blue, a focused, feral ferocity that pierces through flesh at a glance. “I’ve missed you”, comes a husked rasp, voice deep, growling through his bared fangs as the shadow born thing curls around this stray ray of light penetrating his darkness. “The way you say my name”, frost dusts its high cheekbones as cracked lips press near its skin, jagged nails scratching along its throat. As he presses his broad chest against its spine, the wild creature pulls the spawn back into his wraith-like form. “The way you bend”, nearly rabid, it licks the exposed portion of its flesh, “the way you break!” Hard points dig in, arms encircling into a crushing hold. His sunbeam is here and he will not miss a single moment of its golden glow.
Gone for seven nights, two of the first spent rotting in his cage to escape the foul moods of his master. Better to be out of sight and out of mind, let himself be locked away where he can't make things worse, but gods, the boredom. The empty of it all. Alone with his thoughts and his hunger for two days and nights, hoping Morpheus wouldn't come to see him, but wishing that they would.
For those two nights and every night after until this one he had thought incessantly of the monster that now shadows his free hours. Had known it would be waiting for him, sniffing around his usual haunts. Had feared somewhere deep inside himself that it might dare to come here and he would see it ripped apart at Morpheus' hands. Finally he could wait no longer and had slipped from the castle with no protest from his maker, though something in him sensed that Morpheus knew he was not only leaving to hunt and feed.
All that dread solidifies the moment they're together again--I shouldn't be here, we shouldn't be doing this--and then it simply melts into a different, preferable kind of apprehension. The beast is wild for him. It has missed him; it presses against his back like an animal, claws raking thin red lines along his throat, and the spawn cannot help itself. It tilts its head back against the thing's shoulder, dizzy with the force of its enthusiasm for him, letting itself be drawn in close, closer. After a week of being largely ignored by his creator, his monster's icy touch is a searing brand; his teeth feel as if they will leave jagged scars with how deeply they sink into flesh, for all that the Corinthian knows it does not--cannot--scar anymore. Not without considerable effort and repeated reopening of wounds.
It is just as well. Morpheus' wrath if his fledgling was marked by the beast would not bear thinking about.
As the Corinthian sags in its grip, eyes half-closed, its voice resounds in his head. The way you bend. It's holding too tightly, biting too hard, but there's no escape from its jaws. The way you break. The spawn keeps shuddering in its arms, nails digging into the thing's sinewy forearms as it drinks of him like it may never taste him again.
If the beast can hear anything at all over the rush of the spawn's blood and heart, he might hear the faintest, rattling rumble in its throat, more subtle vibration than true sound.
"I don't break," he mutters, hazily, eyes watering with pain. Drunk on proximity, torn between the kind of hurt that transmutes into a fucked up kind of pleasure he's been chasing in strangers for centuries, and pain that is simply pain, the kind most animals claw and cry to get away from.
The Corinthian grits its teeth, finally trying to pry away. It, too, hungers. "I would have come back to you sooner. I got... caught up."

Apologies about my previous ask
I came up with the idea of ShadowJadePeach having more children after coming to the conclusion that by the time the family is reunited in hidden prince au the kids would all be grown up with two of them already having potential mates, so it felt logical that they might want to have more kids to experience what they missed out on with their first four children.
So after deciding on using Brother and Sister from the Wukong origin sets I came up with character descriptions for them and made multiple versions of them depending on if their older siblings hatched from a stone, or were born normally (or part of a canon compliant AU like mothers love).
(I even added in a bonus version of them for if you were to use them in AUs where Nüwa isn’t part of the family)
I gave Brother and Sister names of Wukong’s children from the non-canon JTTW sequel Journey to the South (Luzhen and Yuebei Xing)
I gave descriptions of their personalities, sibling relationships, and their favorite stone fruit.
I then described their appearances and powers and how they would differ depending on the AU.
Again I apologize for causing any confusion and potential headaches, because of my ask.
Relax, the reason for my headaches is that I've had a lot of stress these days and I'm not feeling well at home right now.
And the reason for not understanding is that since my language is not English and I have a translator with me, sometimes I can't understand what they are saying.
From your idea about shadowjadepeach, I just need you to separate them.
An example:
Monkey siblings were born naturally:
-Macaque would have given birth to Bai He, Rumble and Savage, while Nüwa would have given birth to MK, Luzhen and Yuebei Xing. -their attitudes, etc.
I just need separate order and to be to the point or clear, nothing else.

Hey, everyone!
So I've been influenced by the amazing @journey-to-the-au to make my own monkey versions. Their stories are absolutely amazing and inspired me to make my own. I hope its ok if I use some of your concepts, and if not, please let me know, and I can change them.
I'm still learning about the Monkey King book. The more I learn from the books, the more I'll implement it or change some things in charcater stories. My Hyperfixation on Lego Monkie kid has evolved into a Monkey King hyperfixation in general. So I'm going to combine the two because I love them both.
Designs for lmk charcater will relatively stay the same as well as the story, but with other Monkey King elements thrown in. First thing first, here is the height chart I made for original residents on flower fruit mountain/Mount Huaguo
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will be making more height charts for more characters this is just one of a few more
Now I hope everyone buckles in because this girl also wrote small snippets for each character, and it is long! The snippets follow left from right!
Dai Lu: known as the Mother of the Mountain, before Dai Lu found WuKong, she watched over the mountain and the beings that lived there for centuries. Everyone on the mountain held her in high regard and came to her for disputes and settling matters. Even the troop of isolated Macaques gave her the respect she deserved, which they didn't give much respect to anyone outside their troop. She and he family resided by the large water fall with the biggest troop of monkies on the island.
She had a small daughter at the time of them finding WuKong after he hatched from his stone (her other half lost to a hunter attack not long after their daughter was born). Dai Lu took the small monkey under her wing, and with the help of the troop, they raised WuKong. When the brotherhood was formed, she was the voice of reason and tried to keep their plans from angering the celestials.
It came to a close when Dai Lu was trapped in a sword by a minor celestial hoping to use her to "tame" WuKong, and it is where she stayed for many years. Her sword was passed down from generation to generation, before finally a young swordsman kind enough to even listen to her, set her free. A kindness she repays frequently back to his family.
But it was then she realized how long she was gone for. Her daughter was off the mountian raising her son, and WuKong was already on his journey, the weight of Macaque's death on his shoulders as well as fighting and trapping three his sworn brothers. Dai Lu, with little connections she had in the celestial realm, was able to at least visit him a few times on said journey.
Dai Lu set off the mountain once, staying with WuKong after a few years of him returning from his journey. It is then, she made the Skulk, a group of Huli-Jin that helped each other. All Huli-Jin were welcome to come and go as they please.
Sun WuKong: we all know about WuKong. So I don't think there is much to explain. He was raised by Dai Lu and proudly called her his Mama. He has an older sister (I don't have a name for her yet). After his Journey and the removal of the fillet, left fillet like scars on his forehead. It may have helped him but, it left behind scars. His daughter's rock came to him a few months later after his return to the mountain.
WuKong had tried to get Macaque's soul back to only be told it was missing. He fell into a bit of a depressive stated after that. His mother and his troop, especially the babies of the moutain and his own daughter helped him. Over time he was able to apologize to the macaque troop, the only reason they even tolerate his presence was because of Chao-Xing, Rumble and Savage the last remaining peices of Macaque they had left. He accepted their decision and tried to stay a much out of their way as possible.
The only one who doesn't dare be in his presence is Mo, Macaque's younger sister. She despises him even after she learns of her brother resurrection, but her problem is with WuKong and only him. She wouldn't dare have the wrath of her family come down on her for getting her Nieces and Nephew caught in her hate for their other father.
Six Eared Macaque: Macaque was born to the isolated Macaque group of Flower Fruit Mountain. He didn't have a father, his mother saying he was a gift from the wind. His grandfather, the king of the troop, taught him everything he needed to know about his magic and how to take care of his family. He also became a big brother, to a sister named Mò.
When he was little, he got swept away by the river to land in Dai Lu and her troop's part of the mountain. He was taken care of by them until his Grandpa and Mom was able to pick him up. It was then he met WuKong and they became fast friends. As years passed they met up and played frequently.
When they were older, they started to court and became mates. Macaque was the main catalyst for WuKong searching for a way of immortality. There was a massive fight as hunters found the isolated macaque troop, and Macaque while defending his family got badly hurt in the process.
When it came to the book of the dead, Macaque and the macaque troop was included in with the other names being crossed out. Around when Macaque set out to find WuKong on his journey his mother and sister pleaded for him to stay. He wished he had listened. After his death the macaque troop closed themselves off fully from WuKong's troop and Dai Lu. Mò especially.
Macaque still is hesitant to return to his old troop when he's resurrected and espesally after being on good terms with WuKong and the others again.
Chao-Xing: the daughter of the Monkey King and the Six Eared Macaque. She was made by the combination of their magic and was born from stone just like WuKong. She is well loved by the troop and she was fawned over by her Aunts, Uncles, GUncle's, and Great Grandpa. She learned a lot from all of them.
How to fight hand to hand by Aunt Ma, how to take care of a flower field by her Aunt Rin Rin, how to control her shadow magic from her Great Grandpa, and more.
After hearing her father's journey she wanted to have her own, to fully see the world and to learn more about it was well. She made a compromise with her Bama (WuKong) that if she waited until she was old enough and everyone in her family deemed her ready, then she was able to leave the mountain. She accepted and let's say it took the macaque troop hundreds of years to finally agree he fit enough to let her go.
Chao-Xing is the one who helps ease her Baba (Macaque) back into WuKong's troop, though it doesn't take to much for them to welcome him back. She is also the one trying to talk him into see the macaque troop again
Rin Rin: the head teacher of the mountain. Rin Rin 50% of the time is seen leading groups of children around teaching them about the world around them. She is highly protective of children and even though she doesn't have much combat training, she can still be a lot to handle for a foe when it comes to a child under her care being in danger.
She has a major green thumb, can take a dying plant to be florishing stong plant. Rin Rin is also the sole reason 90% of the flower beds on the mountian are where they are. She takes great pride in them.
Rin Rin and Marshal Liu are mates. They started courting before the great fire on the mountain. They decided to put off having children of their own with everything that happened to the mountain while their king was away. When they do finally have kids, they have an older daughter the same age as Chao-Xing and twin boys a few years younger.
Marshal Liu: Liu is very protective of the troop and the monkeys he cares about most. He also the most level headed out of his fellow Marshal and generals, but he's got his own mean streak that he's not afraid to show off. His father was apart of a small band if wandering simians on the mountain, his little half sister Biyu's father was also apart of that group as well.
Liu knew who his father was and actually got to do things with him. He wasnt actually too bad of a father, teaching him some things when ever he was around, but Liu mainly wanted stuck with his mother and her troop. Liu and much like the other Generals and Marshal grew up with WuKong, they trained together and when WuKong became King he named him Marshal. His prefered weapon is a yan yue dao.
Liu knew the moment he saw Rin Rin teaching the little ones for the first time, he wanted to court her. But, it was the first time he watched her fight off a tiger demon who decided it was a good idea to attack her and the little ones one day, that he decided to FINALLY ask her. After the fact of course.
Biyu: Biyu is the little sister of Liu and is a soldier (prefered weapon and a poleaxe) under the command of her brother and her friends. Dispite being his little sister, she is taller than Liu in their older years, and he's a little annoyed by that fact. A fact she LOVES to tease him about. Even though she was a few years younger then them all, they still looked her to tag along with them.
Biyu has a major love for phoenixs, she even likes to sit and watch them fly around, the phoenixs has grown used to her being around, she leaves them be so they don't see her as a threat. Even a few have grown curious of her and one was even brave enough to perch on her shoulder, she practically gushed about it for days to who ever would listen. Who most of the time would be Ba.
Ba and her are mates, Ba would do anything for her. For his first courting gift to her when they did finally start courting he presented her with a Phoenix feather. The same one she wears proudly in her fur til this day.
The scars on her face and down her neck she received from the fire on the mountain, the scar travels around over her shoulder and down her back. She got it from catching a falling branch from hurting a mother and her two children. She doesn't regret how she got the scars, but it still took her years for her to feel confident in her looks again, with how ugly she deemed the scars. Ba was also a major help in getting her confidence back.
General Ba: the youngest of the terror twins of Flower Fruit mountian and a general of WuKong (prefered weapon is the chicken sickels). When he was little, he'd screech at anyone in the troop that referred to him as a girl. The troop learned pretty quickly the pronouns he prefered. Yes, he is ftm, but he will terrorize anyone who has the audacity to tell him otherwise, and he has. Being an annoyance to someone is a very effective way to get someone to correct pronoun usage.
Ma and Ba were actually born to another troop not too far from WuKong's. The troops met frequently and were on good terms with one another. Meeting to share stories and trade. They even were able to stay over with the troop under Rin Rin's family care who was their father's sister, making them cousin's to Rin Rin.
There was one point something happened (a something i will figure out eventually XD) that kept the two troops separated for a few years. Cutting Ba and Ma off from their friends. When the way was finally opened to traverse again, the two decided to make the decision of staying with WuKong's troop. One their mother or father did not try to stop them.
Ba and Biyu are mates. When Ba met Biyu and the others after their years apart, she gave him one hug and he was gone for her. And when he went to get the Phoenix feather for a courting gift, he practically negotiated with them for an entire day and that consisted of him doing errands for them. They gave him one of their molted flight feathers in exchange.
Marshal Ma: is the oldest of the terror twins and a Marshal that serves WuKong (Her prefered weapon is an emeici). The duo love pranks but, they definitely toned it down when they have gotten older. They even terrorizes a pack of wolf demons that were going to attack their troop so badly the pack who had lived their for generations had to escape off the moutain to get away from them.
Ma's fighting style is a bit different from her fellow Marshal and Generals. She prefers a get in and get out approch while the others prefer head on fighting. She loves sneaking around to get the job done and is always to go to when stealth is involved.
Ma and Beng are mates, Ma always tried to help Beng as much as she could, whith his dad and him being the only two medicine monkies on the island. She does help him when he gets too much into his herbs to rememeber to eat, drink, sleep and get put and do things once in awhile.
General Beng: a General under WuKong and a medicine monkey. Beng takes great pride with his work with medicine and herbs. He learned everything from his father, who was over joyed to teach everything he knew to his son. Beng when he was young developed Aphonia from an attack on the troop, his voice never going much above a whisper. He also has an aversion to physical touch. He knows accidental touchs are common, especially if he has to take care of a fellow monkey. What he hates is prolonged touches like hugs or even a simple hand on his shoulder, it makes it feel like he got ants in his skin. The only prolonged touch othe then Ma, he could stand is his parents grooming his fur.
Beng had a hard time connecting to the other monkeys, though he does have Ma to thank for actually making friends out of WuKong and his friends. She practically dragged him along on the outings with the others and if there wasn't something too important in his work, made sure he got breaks.
The years that Ba and Ma and their troop were cut off from them, Beng was near constantly sucked in his work. It took the others and his parents hours to get him to do anything to take care of himself. Beng didn't realize how muched he missed the other monkey until the path way to get to the others again was clear and she and her brother came to the troop requesting to Dai Lu if they could stay. No one told them no and Beng just wrapped up Ma in a hug, she is the only one he allows and seeks out physical affection from.
It wasn't long that they started courting after that.

So, I don't know if you know this, but Clifford the Big Red Dog was an absurdly small puppy before growing to be the size of a house. So I was thinking, what if the same thing happened with Yuebei? At first she's a tiny baby, the runt of the lunar nodelets, but then. She just keeps growing.
And growing.
And GROWING.
And by the time she's a teenager she's already taller than all of her brothers??? All the while, Wukong loudly quietly laments the days she fit in the palm of his hand.
Awwww
Tumblr media
Yuebei being born tiny by monkey yao standards. It's so obvious, especially when compared to how big MK, Rumble & Savage, and even her fellow Nodelet brothers Jidu and Luohuo when they were born/created.
Wukong is super nervous, cus why is his baby so small?! Did he do something wrong?
No not really. In the Slow Boiled Au I cn almost imagine its a bit like in Steven Universe when a gem is "overcooked", they spend a little too long being made and they come out all compact.
Yuebei stays the "little princess" of Flower Fruit Mountain for a long time... until she reaches toddlerhood and her growth spurt kicks in, and soon by puberty she's taller than MK (who's already taller than Wukong and Mac).
Wukong and Macaque are super proud of their giant daughter.

Another new idea for a Lmk Au (again) but this time I named it Twin shadows AU (if the name is already used I accept suggestions)
Rumble and Savage are usually depicted as Macaque shadow's clones that gained santience or his magically born kids
But what if they were Macaque himself?
After feeling so lonely for a long time Macaque decided to divide himself in two to have company resulting in Rumble and Savage
Rumble and Savage are Mac's soul , personality and body split in two to make their own person
They consider themselves brothers and are inseparable , if they get separated without reason or long period of times there are a few reactions they can have depending on the reason and if they can't go to the other yet
Restlessness / uneasiness
Panic/anxiety/separation anxiety's attack
Rage/bloodlust
Depending on the situation , the amount of time they were apart , the reason of the separation (or lack of , ex: separation by kidnapping) , and if one or both of them are in danger
The brother have different reactions and how they handle them but are both equally as bad
MK basically adopted them , he always felt bad about Macaque loneliness and now he can make up to it by being a supporting dad
Both Rumble and Savage are little shits to Wukong , it's worse when he's forced to babysit them sometimes

Grandma Violence - I.III.
[Dragons, Death and Daemon]
Chapter III - Unnecessary Tension
Vhagar quickly hid behind one of the larger rocks of the cave system as she spotted Meraxes and Balerion sitting outside, blocking the entrance.
The large, black dragon was purring - a low, rumbling sound that sounded like distant thunder. His long tail was wrapped around the younger dragon who looked up at him with a teasing smirk. Vhagar suppressed a growl of annoyance. She just woke up and was practically starving, but she couldn’t leave the cave without interrupting these two lovebirds.
Swallowing thickly she stared at the large fish bones next to Meraxes, trying not to drool. Did Balerion catch that for her?
Vhagar knew that spying on others wasn’t really polite, but so was blocking the exit and leaving her hungry!
“Is there a particular reason you are so nice to me, Balerion? One might think you are even trying to court me.”, chirped Meraxes and the older dragon purred even louder, looking at her with large and surprisingly gentle eyes. “And what would you say if I was?”, he rumbled and the silver dragon laughed…as much as a dragon could laugh. “I would be very much flattered to have gained the attention of such an imposing man. Though I have to wonder how a humble, little dragon like myself has been able to catch the eye of the Black Dread himself.”
Vhagar rolled her eyes, this was just embarrassing to watch. Of course Balerion was interested in Meraxes - he was currently the only male living and obviously preferred to mate with an adult dragon instead of waiting if one of the unhatched eggs would maybe hatch into another female dragon - in which case he would have to wait decades before the hatchling would reach maturity. “You underestimate yourself, Meraxes.”, answered Balerion and Vhagar huffed quietly. She definitely did not. “You are fierce and strong and powerful. You are as beautiful as the moon rising above the ocean and as ferocious as an autumn storm. If they call me the lord of all dragons you shall be my lady.” Vhagar gagged. Where the fuck did he even learn these words?
Meraxes was purring now as well and she entwined her tail with his. “And what about my sister?”, she asked and Vhagar’s hidden ears twitched. Why did she bring her up now?
“What about her?”, Balerion asked, amused.
“If you admire my ferocity and strength…well I just have to wonder how you feel about my sister. Compared to her strength I am a mere rabbit.”, Meraxes teased and Vhagar crouched deeper behind the rock, embarrassed.
“That may be so…”, Balerion admitted. “But compared to your beauty, Vhagar is nothing more than a snake groveling in the sand.”
Meraxes narrowed her eyes. “Care to elaborate?”, she said, though it was just barely above a hiss. Balerion huffed, ignorant to the other dragons changing mood. “While your scales gleam and glitter like polished silver, hers are just a dull copper. While your eyes are seemingly made out of pearls, hers are just bunched up moss. While your horns and back crest stand proud and tall, she seemingly doesn’t have them at all…Honestly, I sometimes wonder how you two could be born from the same clutch.”Vhagar usually told herself she was above such things, above such comparisons. After all, she was stronger, faster and more savage than her sister. In a fight she would always come out on top, but still… Vhagar couldn’t help herself but sometimes feel self conscious about her more snake-like features. Yes, her coloring was much more subtle and she didn’t have the horns and large spikes that set dragons apart from other reptiles - but that didn’t mean she liked it pointed out to her… especially by Balerion. She sighed deeply. She never had the intention of being his mate, but she had hoped to at least be respected and acknowledged by him as a fellow warrior. Well, it seemed like Meraxes was still the only person in this world who cared for her - but what else was new?
Suddenly she was ripped away from her thoughts, as Balerion roared out in shock and anger.
Vhagars heart nearly stopped and fire started rising in her throat as she watched her much smaller sister shoving the black dragon to the ground, biting and ripping at his head.
Balerion tried to push Meraxes off him, but her tail had bound his legs together as she continued attacking him. A loud cracking of bone later and Meraxes released him, jumping high in the air and throwing something on the ground, directly in front of Balerions form.
Vhagar needed to stretch her neck a bit to identify the long, sharp object lying in the sand - and when she did, she couldn’t help herself but purr.
Meraxes stayed in the air as Balerion stared at her, flabbergasted as his eyes jumped between the bone and the silver dragon.
“Now that you yourself are one horn shorter, you are probably more understanding of my sister now, are you?”
—
Vhagar had stayed a couple of more days in Dorne, thinking and planning until she had to admit that brooding alone in the desert wasn’t going to make any of her plans come true on their own.
Many more marked boulders had found their place among the central three outside of her cave, surrounded by dozens of charred bones, beaks and hooves.
Unfortunately the old dragon had to finally accept that she needed to gather more information and that came with its own problems.
Vhagar knew that there was nothing to do about Aemond right now - he most likely wasn’t even born yet and even if, he would be nothing more than an infant and unable to meet with her. But she had ideas for her other two goals - but these ideas needed the cooperation of other dragons, which meant she had to, well, talk with them.
It’s not that the other dragons didn’t like Vhagar - quite the opposite in fact. After Aegon's conquest she was the second largest and second strongest living dragon - rising to the top after Balerions passing. The younger dragons looked up to and respected her and Vhagar could work with other dragons when needed.
But she never initiated contact or made actual friendships with her comrades - their relationships were strictly professional and focused on the task at hand.
Vhagar, though she hated to admit to it, didn’t know how to talk with the others and was scared of behaving oddly or accidentally insulting them. It was strange, really. She was the dragon of queen Visenya Targaryen, one of the most deadly creatures in the entire world and she still couldn’t hold a conversation to save her life.
Still, there was no way of getting around that anymore. She needed the help of the other dragons and if they didn’t listen to her words, they would listen to her claws.
It took nearly a week to reach Dragonstone and the more closer she came, the more nervous she grew. The last time she had seen this ancient castle was in the afterlife and there it had luckily been deserted.
But now this wasn’t the case of course. Fisher boats and trade galleons rode the waves below her as she advanced towards the island.
Taking a deep breath she already smelt the scent of fish, coal fire and horse dung - mixed in between the unmistakable, ashy scent of dragons.
Vhagar swallowed thickly, trying to decipher the individual smell of each present dragon, but falling to do so.
She wondered what would happen if Caraxes and Daemon were at Dragonstone. Would she lose her temper and attack them, killing the Targaryen on the spot? No, no, she would have to pull herself together!
Vhagar had recognized early on, that she couldn’t just kill Daemon at first sight - no it either had to be another dragon or it had to look like an accident - preferably both.
If she would straight up murder the brother of the king she would probably have huge difficulties to come in contact with one of his sons. And she would have Caraxes swear vengeance on her for his rider and she knew from her past life that she would have trouble defeating him without herself gaining serious injuries - she also just didn’t want to fight with Caraxes in general. He was a good lad and she would hate to have to kill him again.
Coming closer to the island, she could already hear children yelling and crying out, dogs barking in alarm and horses panicking. Following the scent of her fellow dragons, Vhagar flew northwest to the steep, stony cliffs of the coast and the huge caverns underneath.
The castle didn’t interest her - if Daemon was there, she should stay away for a while and she didn’t care for any other human currently living in the huge towers. And it's not as if she would fit into the courtyard anyway.
Landing on the rocky beach she already heard the confused, but excited chirping of her brethren. The beach was big enough to fit a whole tournament ground on it, but parts of her tail, wings and feet were still bathing in the salty water.
The caves below and inside the cliffs were natural, but there was an obvious sign of human hands, who had widened the entrances and smoothed down the walls, ceilings and grounds.
Vhagar smelt her, before she saw her and she immediately relaxed.
From one of the exits crawled a she-dragon that looked so much like Meraxes that it hurt, her scales as silvern and her features as elegant as her mother’s were.
“Oh, hello Vhagar, it has been quite a while since you have visited Dragonstone.”, hummed Silverwing and greeted her by touching Vhagar’s snout with her own.
“Uh…yes, I guess I was gone for some time.”, she answered and Silverwing purred. “Are you hungry? The castle keepers have just brought us our midday meal, I’m sure between me and Vermithor there will be some scraps left for you.”
Vhagar thought about declining but she couldn’t deny that the journey had left her quite hungry. “Yes...uhm, thank you.”
Silverwing nodded enthusiastically and returned back into one of the caves. Vhagar tried to follow her but was quickly met with the unyielding stubbornness of stone.
While her head and neck fitted through the opening, her shoulders crashed against the cliff, loosening the dust of the ceiling and covering her with it. Vhagar sneezed loudly, making the entire tunnel system shake. Silverwing let out a surprised hiss, before turning around and facing the bigger dragon. “Oh, I forgot how tall you are! Are you stuck?”, she asked in concern and Vhagar grimaced, wiggling herself back to the beach, making more gray dust snow.
Silverwing followed her shortly after, but sneezed much quieter and more ladylike, while Vhagar shook the stone powder from her head.
“F-forgive me…”, muttered the older dragon. “I didn’t mean to nearly crush your home.” “Nonsense!”, said Silverwing with a small laugh. “It was my fault for not thinking about your height. You just wait here and Vermithor and I will bring the food outside.”
Vhagar stepped from one leg to the other. “You really don’t have to, I can hunt later and - “, the older dragon stopped as the younger one vanished again inside the cliffs.
Vhagar’s tail punched into the water behind her, spraying the cold sea water on her back and therefore making her even more nervous. She never quite knew how to act around Meraxes’ children. Silverwing and Dreamfyre looked so much like their mother that Vhagar almost talked to them like she talked to Meraxes. But she couldn’t do that. To Meraxes she had been the younger sister, the hatchling in need of protection and help. But to the younger ones she was the queen of all dragons and was expected to be guiding, strict but wise and confident.
But that wasn’t her. Visenya had been all these things, but Vhagar was not her rider.
The accomplishments of their riders had pushed her and Balerion into these expectations to be just like them, but only the Black Dread could live up to the strength, intelligence and influence of Aegon Targaryen. Vhagar was like all of her riders but like none of them as well. To be honest, Vhagar herself didn’t really know who she was and what her place in this world was - a world so grand and rich in opportunity for seemingly everyone but herself.
The dragon snapped out of her brooding, as Silverwing returned - her snout full of food which she gently put down on a huge, smoothed out stone, so that it would not touch the sand.
Behind her followed her mate Vermithor, who delivered the rest of the meal. “Greetings Vhagar.”, he rumbled so quiet it was nearly inaudible.
Vhagar nodded politely before she eyed the food. The oxes, horses and goats had already been freshly slaughtered by the castle humans and if her sense of smell wasn’t failing her, they were all rather old animals as if the butcher hadn’t come for them, natural death would have killed them soon after anyway. “Heh, so they are giving you the leftovers?”, she huffed and Silverwing looked at her in confusion. “I’m not sure I understand what you mean?”, she asked, but Vermithor was quicker than Vhagar. “She means that she thinks we are entitled to the best and freshest food, although it is obviously the most efficient way to make us eat the aged animals before their corpses go to waste.”
Vhagar stared at him with displeasure and he met her gaze, unfazed. “Well, are you going to refuse our hospitality or not?”, he whispered and Vhagar quickly looked down. If she were a human she would have been as red as Caraxes in embarrassment and anger. That little shit! Who did he think he was talking to?! She is the biggest and strongest dragon of them all and he couldn’t scold her like a little hatchling.
Still, she knew that she was deep down embarrassed for not having to say anything in her defense and that she was jealous for not having Vermithors elegant and regal aura of authority. Next to him she always felt like a brute. “Well, if it’s alright with you, Vermithor, I think we should give Vhagar the honor of starting the meal.”, Silverwing quickly defused the situation and Vhagar blinked slowly at her in gratitude.
“Agreed.”, said the bronze dragon, his hostility melting away as quickly as it had appeared.
Vhagar straightened up and channeled her fire in her throat. She would gladly use her full force to show Vermithor who was the true monarch in this gathering, but she was also aware how ridiculous and childish it would look if she burned all the food to ashes in front of them just to prove her point. After all, she still needed something from the pair, so she lessened the heat of the flame and covered the meal just long enough to burn the hair and skin to a crispy black, but leave the meat and bones juicy and edible.
After Vhagar took a large ox from the pile, the other two followed, taking small bites while the older dragon ripped the limbs of her food, covering her snout in soot, grease and blood.
“Well, Vhagar, where have you been all the time?”, Silverwing asked and she answered between bites. “Nowhere in particular…Stormlands, Reach, Dorne…” The silver dragon opened her snout again but Vermithor said something into her ear that Vhagar couldn’t hear, and she closed it again.
The three ate in silence till everything was gone and Vhagar had licked her snout clean. “So you’ve been in Dorne, hopefully not causing any diplomatic incidents?”, Silverwing joked and Vhagar sighed wistfully. “No, not this time. Though I wouldn’t mind having another opportunity to burn some of these bastards again.”
Silverwing raised her scaled brows while Vermithor tutted disapprovingly. “There’s already war at the Stepstones and last we’ve heard it is not going well. You shouldn’t wish for violence when you are already on the receiving end.”
“I am not receiving violence right now.”, Vhagar countered and Vermithor sighed. “This isn’t about you alone. You can’t fight a war with only one person.”
“Are you doubting my strength?”, she growled. “No, but I’m doubting your abilities to incorporate a defeated Dorne into the Seven Kingdoms and sign treaties that would insure a lasting peace between the princedom of Dorne and the kingdom of Westeros. But I assume these are not your intentions anyway, are they? You just want to kill innocent people who have never even seen a dragon and were therefore definitely not at fault for Meraxes’ death.” Vhagar stared at him in annoyance as steaming hot air blew out of her nostrils. She wondered why Vermithor didn’t bond with Daemon, as both of them really knew how to get under her scales!
“Your mate was talking about war on the Stepstones?”, Vhagar gritted out between her teeth and Silverwings sighed sadly. “Yes, I fear so. Daemon Targaryen and the Velaryons have decided to drive out some Essosi pirates who had nested there, but it somehow escalated into an actual war between Westeros and the free cities.” Vhagar hummed in response. Of course she had been aware of the war, but she didn’t know the details. If Daemon was involved in the fighting, there would be an easy chance of killing him and framing the Essosi.
“Well, Daemon and Caraxes should settle this quickly, shouldn’t they?”, Vhagar asked, but Silverwing shook her head. “No, I fear not. For some reason this war has raged for quite some time now and there doesn’t seem an end in sight. My poor Seasmoke, he and Laenor have to fight as well and you surely know how much he hates to fight these battles.”
Vhagar cocked her head. “He does? I have to be honest, I’ve never met someone that dislikes fighting as much as you do, Silverwing. We are dragons after all, fighting is in our nature. Why else would we have claws, teeth and fire?”
The younger dragon shrugged. “Who knows? Of course I can fight, but I just don’t enjoy it as much as you and Vermithor do. I don’t mind hunting, but burning down hundreds of men and horses - much more than I could ever eat before they start to rot - it just feels wrong to me.”
Vhagar looked at her in thought. Did Meraxes ever feel the same way? Was she killed because she wasn’t aggressive enough? Vhagar herself couldn’t quite comprehend Silverwing’s feelings. She loved to fight and kill - it’s all she ever knew and all she ever could. She couldn’t exist without violence and if she was unable to obliterate her enemies, what would be left of her? Just an old, ugly and useless dragon.
“And you said that Seasmoke feels the same?”, she asked and Silverwing nodded. “Yes, he just wants this whole affair to end quickly.” “If one faction leader were to die, his wish would be granted very soon…”, Vermithor added softly and stared Vhagar deep into her eyes as if to taunt her, as if to challenge her.
Vhagar huffed. That man was far too smart for his own good.

From High Hopes To The Ground || Feral & Maul
Plotted starter for @mutatiio
There was a man at the outskirts of the village, and that man was his brother.
Feral hadn't gotten to see him yet. Nobody from the Nightbrothers village, other than father Viscus, had. The man was not here to mingle with them, he was here for matters than concerned only him and the Nightsisters- most likely Mother Talzin, as she was the only one anyone ever came to Dathomir to see. But Feral had eavesdropped on Father Viscus talking to another one of the elders during the night, and he'd heard the name of the man: Maul. There was no questioning it, it had to be his brother. The brother he never got to meet. The one who left long before Feral was born, and who hadn't ever been seen in Dathomir again, until now.
One couldn't expect a child as young as him to let such a chance pass. This was, quite literally, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
So that morning, he had snuck out of the hut he usually shared with Savage but which Feral had had all to himself, as Savage was off on a 'mission' of sorts to speak with one of the other clans about trading deals between the Nightbrothers and said other clan which Feral didn't know the name of, because Savage said that was adult stuff he was too young to be sticking his horns into when he was still just a child.
Feral would show him. He was going to meet Maul while everyone else was worrying about how close he was to the clan's territory. Quietly, Feral managed to get out of the safety of the village's walls without being seen by those on watch duty. That would show them all he wasn't the runt so many thought him to be! He was going to prove them all wrong!
Dathomir was an easy planet to get lost on, but Feral knew the land like the markings on his own face, and finding something that wasn't supposed to be there was easy. A spaceship was definitely not something that belonged as part of the planet's usual landscape. It was large and, if he was being honest to himself, quite terrifying- mostly because Feral was used to large things that made rumbling sounds having sharp teeth and an appetite for fresh meat, no matter the source. But the ship didn't have teeth- in fact, its 'mouth' was open and it had a ramp that he climbed cautiously.
The inside was an even stranger sight, but it peaked the boy's curiosity.
"Hau?" he called out. A simple 'hello'. A good start, if he said so himself. He received no answer. "Maul, niye'lel he?" did his brother even speak the language of their people? He'd been gone for so long, longer than the entirety of Feral's life, and that was a very long time for a boy of merely eight years of age. Feral resorted to repeating the question in the only other language he knew: basic. "Are you here?"
