Disney SW fans who claim to love Anakin but think the Prequels suck, you're part of the problem. And the OT purists who hate the Prequels and then turn around and blame them for why Disney SW sucks...yeah, you're part of the problem too.
One of the many reasons the Disney SW 'Sequels' were so terrible and destructive was because the people making them decided to completely ignore the importance of the Prequels and reject them as an intrinsic part of the saga. And they seemed to believe they were pandering to 'what the fans wanted' by doing this. But the Prequels are half the entire story as Lucas told it, and they just threw it out the window. The Prequels COMPLETED the saga. But Disney pretended that the saga wasn't complete yet and that it was up to them to do so. Instead of just making 'interquel' material from the beginning (like Rogue One, etc), they arrogantly took it upon themselves to 'finish' a story that was already completed back in 2005. And in doing so, Disney also decided to reframe the saga into something decidedly lesser (a repetitive grimdark story where the cycle 'wasn't broken ackshually', instead of an uplifting and transcendent mythic fairytale), but one which would allow them to continue making 'new canon' material indefinitely (cause that is more lucrative for them). But the Prequels had already reframed the saga and given it a very specific meaning. Without the Prequels, ALL of Star Wars loses that meaning. And without a happy ending for the OT characters and an unequivocally positive resolution to the their storyline, the entire saga is rendered into a perpetual tragedy. So, unless and until so-called 'Star Wars fans' can acknowledge and embrace just how intrinsic the Prequels are to the fictional story they supposedly 'like', they will be running around in circles trying to blame Disney's failures on the very thing that Disney so carelessly ignored and discarded in the first place.

Just because Anakin became Darth Vader, that doesn’t mean he is no longer the Chosen One. He was always the Chosen One even when he was Darth Vader. If George Lucas said he is the Chosen One and always will be the Chosen One then that makes it true because he created Star Wars and the characters in it. You don’t get to decide who really is the Chosen One because you don’t like the fact that the Chosen One was a villain at one point in his life.

Star Wars: Frozen AU
I was watching some Frozen tribute vids on Youtube, and I was like "I can see Anakin in Elsa's role!". So here is a rough outline of my AU.
Main characters
Anakin = Elsa
Luke = Anna
Hans = members of Jedi council (I'll explain)
Parents = Padme, Jedi council (I'll explain)
Kristoff = Don't care who, maybe Han since Chewie can function as Sven
Olaf = Artoo or Threepio
Background
Let's say the clone wars never happened or the republic was actually victorious. Anakin is still the chosen one but he has control of dark side powers as well which are linked to his emotions so the council is wary of him. Anakin and Padme are married but the council finds out. They give him a pass as the chosen one and for his good work as a Jedi but he's on probation. Luke is born as an only child and is trained by his father as a young child in the Jedi temple.
Intro
Picture the intro scene of Frozen with a 5yr old Luke and Anakin but Anakin accidentally hits Luke with his dark side powers which starts an infection of Luke's force powers. Luke is cured by the council but Anakin is no longer allowed to teach Luke and is banned from interacting with his son. Picture the council being like Elsa's father but colder and more suspicious. They deem Anakin a threat and other Jedi treat him with disdain. Obi-Wan is a bit better but he's also distant. Luke tries to reach out to his father as he grows older but Anakin does not reciprocate causing the boy to feel rejected and lonely. Anakin's marriage also suffers as the council tries to cut him off from all his attachments. Unfortunately, Padme dies while on a senate trip or something so Luke loses his emotionally available parent at 13yrs old. Anakin also becomes more withdrawn and depressed which causes his dark powers to worsen.
Part 1
Instead of a coronation, the Jedi are celebrating some kind of anniversary, eg. defeating the Sith or the Jedi's creation. Anakin, being the chosen one, is the man of honor who carries out the ceremony ritual or some other important thing. Luke is now 16yrs old and is glad for the opportunity to see his father again. There's no love story but Luke still ends up confronting Anakin about why he's been avoiding him. Like Elsa, Anakin becomes desperate and angry, and lashes out with his dark side powers which frightens all the Jedi. His powers get out of control and brings darkness to the planet. Anakin runs away. Pretend he has a "Let It Go" moment somewhere in the Coruscant hills or whatever.
Part 2
The Jedi's force sensitivity is impacted by the darkness shrouding Coruscant. Luke convinces Obi-Wan to be the one to go after his father. Along the way he meets Han (or whoever) and Artoo (or 3P0). At Anakin's castle pretend there is a "First Time in Forever reprise" moment and Anakin attacks Luke with his dark powers which again corrupts Luke's soul which begins to cause his being to turn to stone. Han races Luke back to the temple to get help. Let's say they find an old jedi temple with ghostly beings who are agents of the force which tell them that only an act of selfless love can cure Luke. In the meantime, the Jedi and the senate guards go to capture Anakin. Obi-Wan is successful in blind siding Anakin and he is detained.
Part 3
Luke is brought before the council. The council afraid of Luke's corrupted powers, lock him away in his room. On Anakin's side, the council have trapped him in force restraining cuffs and collar. Yoda/Mace tells him to reverse what he has done but Anakin doesn't know how. They threaten extreme measures to fix Anakin's damage. His overwhelming power eventually lets him escape before they return. Artoo frees Luke from his locked room. Han, having become close friends with Luke, is compelled to go back to try and save him. We have the climax where Anakin's darkness is at an all time high. It's hard to even see what's around you. He confronts Mace Windu who tells him that his actions have destroyed Luke. Anakin is devasted and kneels in shock. Han sees Luke and runs towards him. Luke thinks that Han coming back after being selfish could be the selfless love that saves him. But he sees Windu about to kill his father. So we have the scene where Luke saves Anakin and turns to stone.
Ending
Luke's curse is broken. Anakin is able to let go his fears after experiencing his son's unconditional love and the darkness in the force lifts from Coruscant. He also unlocks his full power as the chosen one of the force. Instead of the Hans punching scene, we have Anakin telling the council that he quits being a Jedi. The Jedi are unable to stop him. Anakin and Luke go to live on Naboo with Padme's family or something like that. Anakin relearns how to be a father and have healthy attachments again. The end.
Alternative Scenario
If Leia exists, she could maybe be the one to who nearly kills Anakin. She is influenced by the Jedi to hate her father and him hurting Luke is the last straw for her. It would be an interesting dynamic between the twins. But Mace Windu is easier than incorporating Leia.
What do you think? This is a rough idea so not all the details are there but I really like it. I would so write it if I were not afraid of butchering it :(.

An idea I like for my Star Wars fanfic is when Darth Vader is redeemed and becomes Anakin again, he starts wielding both his blue Jedi lightsaber and his red Sith lightsaber. I like the idea of this being symbolic of him balancing the Light Side of him and the Dark Side of him since he is the Chosen One.

Want so badly for any full-potential Anakins to be the same size as Vader, if not bigger.
Obsessed with the idea that he just keeps growing, that by the time he’s in his late twenties he’s over seven foot tall.
Full-potential Anakin being the size of the Mortis gods and having the same distinct aura of other, so much so that they have to scratch out the ‘human’ in his med-file (they were never fully sure of that one anyways)

Anakin Skywalker vs Jesus Christ: Chosen One Comparison
Anakin is the chosen one in Star Wars and there are references to religions. For example, there are some parallels with Jesus Christ. I thought it would be fun to compare the two. Of course, Jesus is the ultimate winner here (sorry Anakin love you but you don't come close). And honestly the force SUCKS as a dad.
This is a personal reflection for me so it's not meant to be a sermon or some deep analysis. I hope even non-Christians would find it interesting.
I was planning on posting all the points in one post but it is way too long so I will break it up into multiple posts instead. I'll have one every Sunday until it is done.
Here are some short introductory ones:
Prophecies Anakin: "A Chosen One shall come, born of no father, and through him will ultimate balance in the Force be restored."
Jesus: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15 NIV
There are several other instances after this where the bible predicts circumstances about Jesus.
Lack of Biological Father Shmi may not have been a virgin like Mary, considering her harsh life as a slave. However, both conceived without a human father.
Parents Anakin only has one parent - a single mother. Jesus on the other hand had 2 parents, Mary and her husband Joseph. Joseph is not the biological father, but he accepted responsibility even though it was within his rights at the time to leave Mary due to her pregnancy (Matthew 1: 18-25).
Economic Status Both Anakin and Jesus were lower class. Anakin was born into slavery and Jesus' stepfather was a carpenter.

Ezra: You can’t beat us! We have something even more powerful than the force!
Darth Vader: And what might that be?
Ezra: It’s the power...of updog.
Cal: Oh my god oh my god oh my god-
Vader: What is...updog?
Cal: OH MY GOD OH MY GOD-
