Like tobi is Literally just acting. HE IS LYING!!!! he likes to act tough and take charge, something boban KNOWS and subtly exposes!! 'I like how you answer all my questions HAHA tobi speak nice!' 'Hey I wanted that question :(' and while boban is known as one of the nicest guys of the nba... he is Also Very competitive and brutally honest. ALMOST Controlling... as soon as he met Tobi he told him he didn't like his cocky little ass ... and then tobi was SO offended by that comment that he SPEEDRAN enemies to lovers with Boban.. that Is known. 😏😏 I think i have some solid guesses.

They had sex.

LMFAO i don't think it took JUST sex though, of course!! I think the emotions and like?? Raw Exposure to each participant's Being really helped them achieve understanding within the other, though. I think tobi just kept Bugging boban to hang out with him at their first practice. Challenging him to any basketball games and non basketball games (while asking him a Ton of questions about himself) he can think of until Boban gets a little idea in his head that 'Oh. This American Cares about things...' and 'Oh... his tenacity is actually kind of... sweet..' and after practice tobi invites him to come eat dinner with him in a nice restaurant that has the favorite foods boban told him he likes... and they bond through boban being able to see that tobi is, beneath that careless attitude, an actually very dedicated young man who cares more about people than he lets on, listens to the details more than people realize...

And I think.. that boban thinks tobi challenging Himself to reveal a lucrative, softer side only to the gentle giant is Very dear (and attractive) to him. Only Boban can get tobias like that. Only Boban can make Tobias strive within himself for Him. It's a silent battle between Tobias's remote outer image vs boban.. and boban usually wins with the spoils of his victory being Tobi's light little laughs, giggles, finally won over breathy 'i love you's, panted kisses connected loving to the neck, clammy palms suddenly desperate at his back, and tiny tears

And by God does boban Love winning.

They challenge each other, drive each other, compel each other, and thrive off each other. In bed they're subtle, and in life they're subtle. Subtle little words being whispered, certain slight actions, all with Heavy intent. Sometimes emotions rise, sometimes Tobias can be challenging, sometimes Boban just likes to see him cry, sometimes their competition can grow fierce . but matters always soften between them in the end, cold exteriors melt, and challenges end with a sweet reward.
