TW: Eren is an asshole to reader, very minor character death for backstory purposes, swearing/dirty talk, yandere elements if you squint, and for this part specifically there is physical abuse/domestic violence, blood, choking, sex work, triggering language/actions, PTSD style flashback, basically we learn why Eren is the way he is
“It’s been a long time since Mommy left, I watched three Scooby-Doo movies and she isn’t home yet! She said she’d be home after two of them, where is she??”
A small, scared, newly turned 6 years old Eren thought as he watched the front door like a hawk. Today was his birthday, and his mother had promised she wouldn’t be gone the whole day for it. But six hours later, she was still gone.
He had no idea what was truly going on, all he knew was what his mother said.
The Bad Man had left with her again, the one who was awfully mean to him and his big sister Kai whenever he was around. He hated that man.
Not even the birthday cake his sister made him helped. He knew it would taste bad, all they had to eat was ramen noodles, so he didn’t want to know what she’d used to make the cake. But, so he didn’t make her sad, he blew out the candle when she sang to him and mustered a weak little smile.
“It’ll be okay, Rennie. Mom will be home soon, and if that jerk is with her, I’ll protect you.” Kai promised, ruffling his hair. But truth be told, she was just as scared as he was.
“I hate that guy!! He hit me when I spilled my juice the other day, and it wasn’t even my FAULT!!” He was upset, more upset in such complex ways that a child should never have to experience.
His sister was about to comfort him again when the dilapidated front door finally swung open, revealing their mother and the Bad Man.
Their mother looked distressed, more so than usual, and the asshole next to her looked more enraged than usual. There was something wrong, something bad was going to happen, it was in the air.
“You dumb fucking bitch, I told you, no less than $1200 was to be made before you could call it a night!! DIDN’T I?!” The Bad Man roared in his usual domineering and intimidating tone, slapping their mother hard in the face.
“I-I’m sorry, I just- I promised Eren I’d be home for his birthday! I made $800, I figured that would be enough, please- not in front of the kids, please honey!” Their mother pleaded with him, wiping the blood from her lip as she trembled.
Anxiety and panic tightened his chest, and he squeezed his sister’s hand in raw fear. He wanted to speak, to stand up for himself and his family, but he was frozen, as if his jaw had been wired shut and his limbs were cemented where he sat.
“That little pussy needs to learn how to be a man!! Can’t always be crying for his fuckin’ mommy, the little shit needs to learn! Fuck his birthday, fuck those kids!! I SAID 1200!!!!!” He continued to hit their mother, kicking the front door shut to avoid nosy neighbors intervening again.
All Eren and his sister could do was watch, they were no match for that man, and their mother made them promise to never get involved so they didn’t get hurt too.
But the second he saw his mother fall to the floor from the force of a punch to her jaw, followed by a kick to her ribs, he forgot all about his fear.
“STOP IT!!!! LEAVE MOMMY ALONE!!!!!!!” He screamed as loud as his little lungs would let him, running up to do something, only to be slapped away with full strength by the adult male.
He whimpered when he saw blood on his hand from the split in his cheek, the ring the man wore making direct contact. As any normal child would do, Eren began to cry. It hurt, he was scared, and he had no concept of this situation other than terror.
“You wanna get your ass beat, you little shit?! HUH?!?!” The man screamed in his face, grabbing the child up by the neck.
“NO!! Let him go, take it out on me, please!! Don’t hurt the kids, PLEASE!” Their mother begged, crawling and wincing as she reached her arm out.
The man scoffed with a villainous grin, dropping Eren to the ground, and instead grabbed their mother up by the throat.
“Fine, I think I’ll do that,” he focused his glare back to the terrified and bleeding little boy, something extra sinister in his voice when he spoke next, “he’s gonna learn today that his precious, useless ‘mommy’ won’t always be there to help him. Time to be a man, you little piss-ant.”
That was all the warning he gave, before proceeding to beat their mother to death before Eren and his sister’s very eyes.
When the police showed up and arrested him, paramedics taking their mother’s body away, Eren managed to grab the picture of him and his mom from the last year’s birthday before the police took him and his sister to the station.

Eren was snapped out of his usual flashback by Jean snapping his fingers in front of his face, and he blinked a few times before scowling in his usual facade of couldn’t-be-bothered.
“Fuck you want, Jean?” He snipped, jadeite eyes boring into the bassist’s now mildly fearful ones.
“We’re talking about the new album, thought our literal frontman would want to know the songs he’s gonna be singing.” Jean sassed, before softening just a little, lowering his voice before speaking next, “You okay, man?”
There it was again, that fucking sympathetic look, the one he hated the most. As if he were some helpless god damned woodland animal. He was Eren fucking Yeager, invincible and adored frontman of the most popular rock group in the world. The last thing he needed was sympathy, especially from the likes of that Kentucky Derby-looking bastard Jean.
Truth be told, deep down, Eren just didn’t know how to accept it. To him, all it did was show weakness if he opened up or talked about his issues. He didn’t need that shit. He wasn’t weak.
“Get out of my face and I’ll be just fine. Try a mint, too.”
His tone was devoid of feeling, just like his expression. Crossing his arms, he leaned back in his chair and kicked his boots up onto the table, crossing his ankles as he lit up a cigarette.
“Fuck you, dude. God forbid someone tries to be a friend to you, right?” Jean rolled his eyes, taking his seat next to Connie.
As Levi prattled on about the tracklist, saying they needed at least thirteen, or something stupid like that, Eren zoned out again.
What was y/n up to right now? Were you thinking about him? Would you like the new album? Tch, you were probably thinking about Connie.
“Oi, Caillou,” he called for the man in question once Levi finished talking, blowing smoke from his nose, “still chasin’ after y/n? Or did she finally reject you?”
“Why do you care, asshole?” Connie bit right back, sick of this bullshit, “Wish it was you she was texting right now??”
“Like I give a shit about a groupie’s attention. I have a thousand sluts in my DM’s right now and you have one. You’ll never be me.”
Of course he gave a shit, a lot of shits actually. It drove him fucking insane that he wasn’t the one you were chasing after, and he’d be damned if he lost you to Connie bald-headed Springer.
“Thank god for that.” The drummer gave a dramatic sigh of relief, before flipping Eren off, “Y/n will be here later after the concert, hope that doesn’t get your panties in a fuckin bunch. And I swear to god, if you say anything to her, I’ll beat the shit out of you. Got it??”
The threat only amused the lead singer, and he smirked around the filter of his Marlboro Red.
“Oh yeah? Well, miracles happen every day, don’t they?” His voice was mocking, and he stubbed his smoke out on the table, “Enjoy the taste of my dick when you go down on her. And use three fingers, she loved that shit. Hope she doesn’t accidentally scream my name instead of yours, would be pretty damn funny though.”
With that final quip, he made his way to his room on the bus, slamming and locking the door behind him. He flopped onto the bed, reaching for the flask under the mattress and taking a swig, sighing at the burn of the whiskey in his throat.
Interrupting you and Connie?? Well, that sounded like a mighty fine plan to him.
Whether Eren knew it, or you knew it, you belonged to him. He had you first, and despite the show he put on during your hookup, he was gonna do whatever it took to get your attention back to him.
Watch out, y/n, Hurricane Yeager is heavy on your radar.

My first thoughts? Konami should errata Ostinato, 1st Movement Solo, and Fortissimo to be treated as "Melodious" cards. Also the deck still needs a better way to search Polymerization like Fluffals have. Otherwise the cards are simply fantastic.

The second occasional sweet pool of the day! Befitting of the overall food theme, I’m posting the cafe menu of the 2009 sweet pool cafe held at CURE MAID CAFE.
Drinks
There are five drinks on the menu; two for Sakiyama (one for reason, one for instinct) and the rest are for the other three main boys. Sakiyama, Shironuma and Mita’s are all cold drinks served in a colins glass whilst Okinaga’s is served hot and in what looks to be ceramic coffee cup. Fitting for Okinaga to be the odd one out.
Note: I am an American so I never had any of these since this was region exculsive to Japan. I was also like, 6. So it’s just the menu!
Sakiyama Youji’s Reason/Rational (¥400/$2.78)
(Blue Hawaii + grape jelly)
Sakiyama Youji’s Instinct (¥400/$2.78)
(Pomegranate x ginger ale + grape jelly)
Shironuma Tetsuo (¥400/$2.78)
(Green tea x peach flavour)
Mita Makoto (¥400/$2.78)
(Cola x orange sherbet)
Okinaga Zenya (¥400/2.78)
(Hot nata de coco + berry)
Originating in the Philipines, Nata de coco is fermentended coconut water. It’s usually served cold or in it’s more gelatinous state. I’ve never had it before, but I’m assuming it’s similar to stuff like coffee jelly.
Foods
There are 9 dishes in total, three desert plates and 6 meal plates. They also came as set meals.
Omu Yakisoba Bread (¥400/$2.78) (Also, as I far as I can tell, this is and another meal item from the menu are not sold as a set meal. I guess because it’s also literally yakisoba bread, lol)
It’s based on the Yakisoba bread sold at the school store, aka the thing Shironuma is seen eating a majority of the rooftop cgs.
Omega Meat Burger (Alone: ¥1500/$10.44. Meal: ¥1700/$11.83)
Apparently, it’s just a Big Burger. Which is fiitng, I guess.
Shironuma’s home-cooked food. (¥400/$2.78) (This is the other meal item I was referring to earlier. Ironically enough, there both food items associated with Shironuma.)
Kitani’s cooking. (Alone: ¥1100/$7.66. Meal: ¥1200/$8.35)
White rice, miso soup and stir-fry minced meat with eggplant. Lovingly prepared for Zenya.
Sakiyama’s home curry. (Alone: ¥900/$6.26. Meal: ¥1100/$7.66)
Colour of the curry is redder than usual curry. Comes with special seasoning.
Zenya’s Failure Hamburger steak. (Alone: ¥900/$6.26. Meal: ¥1100/$7.66)
I’m assuming it’s called this because it’s cut up rather than being in the proper fillet form you usually serve hamburger as. Or it’s a jab at Zenya being literally a ‘defective’.
Youji-kun hot cake (pan cake) (¥700/$4.87)

sweet な台詞ケーキ (literally ‘sweet dialogue/words cake) (¥700/$4.87)
So this one’s actually super cool, in my opinion. It’s a standard souffle cheesecake, but as implied with the name, the gimmick is that lines from sweet pool’s script written on it. The one from the product image is, from what I can tell, 「やばいだろ、これ」.
Makoto’s bad lifestyle habit sundae. (Alone: ¥600/$4.18. Meal: ¥800/$5.57.)
OTHER COOL STUFF
For free, you can also get coasters. The first one is for CURE MAID CAFE, which depicts the boys making food (and Okinaga even has Christie with him!) This event was also held at a crossdressing cafe called Queen Dolce, which is the second set included, which depicts the boys as butlers/waitstaff (a missed chance to depict the boy’s crossdressing, but ohhhhh well).
According to the website, the Queen Dolce was styled like the Cerulean Warbler (that’s the bar Shironuma works at!)
Also, the coaster arts was used for a pattern design for mug designs! It comes in both purple and turquoise.

So the 'Cheat code' that I promised! Part 2
Part 1 for Story events is here
Do you agree that I'm a genius now? Go ahead worship me! Lol just kidding!
So, for the collection event, it's about how to utilize the game system in a way so you get enough free matcha or hearts or whatever you wanna call it so that you can spend less money where ever possible. (God! This is gonna be a pain to explain!)
To explain this in a simpler way, let's take the example of Ikemen genjiden once again. So in collection events, you need matcha, which you will give the male leads and they will give you gifts when you give them matcha for a certain number of times.
So in Ikemen genjiden you get matcha by:
Logging in - 200 matcha.
Salon game - About 1200 matcha.
Doing story chapter - 2000 per matcha (story without avatar or intimacy challenge)
Selling 90 pearls - 400 matcha.
18000 gold coins per day - 2000 matchas.
All the accumulated matcha will be divided by 100 so that you can see the number of times you have given to male leads.

There is also 'lucky time', during which you will get double the amount of matchas.
Now that you know about the collection event, it's time to explain my cheat, it's something, you should be doing days BEFORE the collection event starts:
When doing stories.
When you do one chapter, without any avatar or intimacy challenge you get a total of 2000 matcha. If you do a chapter with intimacy or avatar challenge you will get 2000 matcha + additional 800 matcha for doing the avatar or intimacy challenge. You will receive the total of 2800 matcha AFTER completing the whole chapter and the challenge.
Now this will double during the lucky time, and you will get 5600 matcha (4000 + 1600).
So my suggestion is if you're currently playing a route and if you are at a chapter where there is an avatar or intimacy challenge, DON'T DO the challenge. Only complete the chapter but don't complete the avatar or intimacy challenge. Look here:
I only completed the story of chapter 10 which has the avatar challenge, you can see the bar is completely pink, which shows that I've only finished reading the chapter. But I can't start the next chapter because I haven't completed the avatar challenge yet. I left Akihito's route like that and switched to the next route and did the same thing----reach a certain chapter that has intimacy or avatar challenge, and only left the challenge incomplete. Keep doing that for all the available routes.
What do you gain when doing this?
The game will only give you the 2800 matches once you complete the whole chapter along with its intimacy or avatar challenge. Imagine, there are 13 male leads routes available and for each male leads, you did the same thing what I told you to do for all the routes----completing the chapter without completing the challenge. On the day, when the event starts, first thing you should do is quickly complete all the challenges you have left incomplete. You will gain about 36400 matches (2800 x 13) which are 364 times (36400/100) you will feed the male leads. You simply get this much for FREE! Now on the first day, there will always be 'lucky time' for doing the story chapters. So this 36400 matcha will be doubled to 72800 (2800 x 2 x 13). Do you get? If not you can ask me or read it once again. I hope I made it clear for you guys to understand.
2. Ending chapters
Now, you know that---
Normal chapter without avatar or intimacy challenge - 2000 matcha
Normal chapter with avatar or intimacy challenge - 2800 matcha
But, the ending chapter (romantic end or dramatic end) will give you 4000 matcha.
So if you have reached the ending chapter of any route, again, leave it incomplete. Do the first 4 parts of the chapter and leave the 5th part incomplete and switch to the next route. Look here:
On the day when the event starts, complete the last part of the ending chapter with the free tickets you get each day. (You'll only be needing one ticket anyway to complete the last part)
3. Don't simply waste your saved up resources.
I'm pretty sure most of you guys are immediately going to use all your saved-up resources like 300 chapter tickets and 50 wine sets to get hearts or matcha as much as possible. I won't suggest that. If you're going to do it anyway, do it during the lucky time. So you'll get double the amount of matches. Even the story tickets, only use them during the lucky time, or else it's a waste. If there is no lucky time, only use the free 5 tickets that you get every day, and also the 6th one you get after watching an ad.

A Step-by-Step Guide to Purchasing Лэ о Лэйтиан Recordings on Boosty
The growing number of official recordings of the Lay of Leithian rock opera, and the largely unfamiliar site Boosty can feel a little daunting and hard to navigate. For this reason, I've created this neat little overview and step-by-step guide that will hopefully prove useful to you.
As of February 2024, there are two Boosty pages - the OLD one and the NEW one. If you're subscribed to the old page, cancel your subscription now since no more content will be added (unless you wish to access the bonus content). Most recordings are available on the new page; some, however, are still missing, which is why I kept the links to the old page.
In case you're looking for free content, you may wish to check out the unofficial English website and this playlist.

Guide:
Choose a recording to purchase and click the link.
You'll have to log in to purchase the post, but you can use your Google/VK account to sign in.
Click "unlock post" OR "subscribe".
Choose "open this post for [x]₽/$" and click "purchase access" OR "buy subscription".
Select your preferred payment method (be careful not to select Russian bank card unless you live in Russia) and enter your payment details. (If you have purchased something from Boosty before and wish to pay with a credit card, select "pay with a new e-wallet" and re-enter your credit card details; for some reason the payment fails when using pre-saved details.). Once you're done, click "pay". Note: As of February 2024, PayPal is no longer available.
Congratulations, you have purchased access to the stream! The now unlocked post shows you a link to Boomstream as well as a password. All livestream passwords will be valid for one year from the day of the performance onwards; additionally, there is a download link (Yandex Disk) for the file included in the post.
You will receive a confirmation email from Boosty.
Tips and tricks:
Use the desktop site instead of the mobile site.
If your payment isn't going through, turn off all add-ons etc. and try again. If that doesn't help, try again later. Boosty can be weird sometimes.
If you can, use your card instead of PayPal.
If your payment doesn't go through, you may need to call your bank. Some banks block Boosty/mycom/donationalerts for security reasons.
If you're from the US, make sure to select the $ option to avoid being charged extra for currency conversion.
