Kind of a missed opportunity they never put this guy in any of the serie, thus their only appearance was in one of the playstation games. Never played it myself though but I feel like it makes them more of a underated gem :D the more reason for me to draw them.

Experiment 621
Chopsuey
Primary function: To collect strands of DNA to help Jumba with creating more experiments
A prototype of Stitch, possessing all of the same powers but being less capable. He is jealous of all the attention Stitch gets from their creator and obsessed with proving he is superior, going as far as trying to kill Stitch, and being one of the fewer truly villainous experiments.
Criticized and neglected by Jumba, he secretly collected DNA strands for himself and used it to mutate to a larger, stronger form. In this form he is physically more powerful than Stitch, but still less skilled.
One true place: Unknown

Happy Experiment Appreciation Day! 👽
Oh, yes, I'm still going to keep this tradition I established going. The genetic experiments are one of the many unique things of the Lilo & Stitch franchise, and they've been around since the very beginning. Experiments like Chopsuey (X-621) from the PlayStation 2 prequel game, the early version of Reuben (X-625) from the Disney Adventures prequel comics, or... you know, Stitch (X-626) himself.
Here are some fan art of the genetic experiments made in the past year!
Tumblr media
Yaarp by @kiwibon – As if the little blowhorn wasn't already cute and fluffy enough, here his cuter and fluffier than ever before!
Tumblr media
Zutto Fights by @salty-nebula – Oh, no! Gantu's strike team have all been transmutated by Dr. Hämsterviel! (Well, three of the four actually were in the Stitch! anime's third season, but Hammerface didn't.)
Tumblr media
Sparky, Spike, and Yaarp by Kinnachan456 – A trio of this artist's favorite experiments! (Also, lucky Yaarp getting two appearances here!)
Tumblr media
Experiment ZBrush renders by @konnestrasketch – (Clockwise from upper-left: Richter, Splodyhead, Gigi, and Finder) Never expected these guys to get 3D renders now did ya?
Tumblr media
Clip and Slushy by @blubird513 – Clip hides a devious mind while Slushy gets excited over making a perfect ice cube!
Tumblr media
一点实验品 (A Little Experiment) by lether – Shoe enjoying a little four-leaf clover while Bonnie & Clyde raise a toast to crime!
Tumblr media
Slugger by mayoooon_626 – He's always happy to play ball! ⚾
Tumblr media
#040 - Backhoe, #044 - Forehead, #051 - Hocker by @psychedelic-lemur – This artist's never-ending quest to draw all the experiments continues!
Tumblr media
Hoppy Easter by @angoraram – I hope Houdini didn't get startled by the kids for Easter!
Tumblr media
Evil Anime Experiments by @crees-a – Ih, even the Stitch! anime's most evil experiments are getting some attention, too!
That's it for this one. There's still plenty more days left this Stitch Week!

I got tagged by @flamingoskull the pecking bird furry but since he called himself out, it’s time for me to call myself out!
Rules: Name ten favorite characters from ten different things (tv, movies, books, etc.), then tag ten people
1. Shapeshifter - A Hat in Time (Video Game Cut Content) - Literally anyone who knows me personally knows that I love this little shapeshifting bitch. I’m still a little sad they never made it into the primary game but that just gives me more room to work with!
Tumblr media
2. Chopsuey AKA Experiment 621 -  Stitch: Experiment 626 (Video Game) - I have a soft spot for mohawks and feral creatures so when 12-year-old me discovered this asshole way back when, I fell in love. While he’s not my absolute favourite character anymore, he’s still up there and holds a fond place in my heart.
Tumblr media
3. Dark End - Stitch! Anime (TV Show) - Is it cheating to use the TV show as a separate thing from the games and movie? Probably. But I really like this creature okay???? Also once again: Mohawks. Plus, they’re very gender ambiguous and I would demise for them.
Tumblr media
4. Scourge - Warriors Cats (Books) - Yes, I was one of these edgy kids who loved Scourge. And, tbh, I think one of the main reasons why, as an adult, I still like his character is because he is very small and legit everyone underestimates them because of his size and I like that trope a lot.
Tumblr media
5. Mimic - IDW Sonic Comics (Comic Books) - ...If you didn’t know, I LOVE shapeshifting characters. And Mimic is exactly that. Plus I have a little bit of a weak spot for characters with very loose morals if you haven’t been able to tell.
Tumblr media
6. Venom - Marvel Comics (Comic Books) - A Shapeshifter, symbiote, and a character with loose morals?? All wrapped up into one?? Yep that’s definitely a fave of mine. Honestly all of the symbiotes are super cool in my books but Venom was the first one that I discovered so *shrugs*
Tumblr media
7. Remus Lupin - Harry Potter (Books/Movies) - When I was  kid, I really loved werewolves, and Lupin was my first exposure to them. I’m still pissed about how R*wling had him finally be happy and then killed him off but that’s what fix-it fics are for! Tonks is a close second for the Harry Potter series fave, mainly bc shapeshifting plus I hc her as being genderfluid.
Tumblr media
8. Chip/Light Gaia - Sonic Unleashed (Video Games) - Is this cheating again?? Probably but I don’t care! Even though that his English voice is,,,,grating at times, I still really like him and I have a soft spot for him bc he was a part of my childhood. Also there’s that thing of “characters not looking how they seem” so yay!!
Tumblr media
9. Bill Cipher - Gravity Falls (TV Show) - Now, before any of you get on my case about including Bill in this list, I want y’all to know: Yes, he is an asshole. Yes, he’s a terrifying villian. And that’s why I adore him! He’s legit terrifying and intimidating despite not looking like it! Plus he’s very manipulative and knows how to toy with people which is cool to watch.
Tumblr media
10. Discord - My Little Pony (TV Show) -  ....you guys can probably guess why he’s here.
Tumblr media
And that’s all 10! I’m not gonna tag anyone or any of these characters/fandoms, but if you want to do it, feel free to tag to show me!

Alright so I was looking at the evolution of the Chaos Gremlin experiments (the ones who are supposed to have the same purpose as Stitch) and they go like this:
Woops (600) is a prototype of this line, being indestructible and super-strong; however, they also appear to lack awareness for personal and general safety, and do not possess any drive to commit atrocities. They also don’t appear to have extra limbs, quills or antennae tucked away. They are so-called because they’re clumsy.
Then we skip quite a few numbers (fun fact, all experiments over #600 have apocalyptic powers) and end up at Chopsuey (621) who appeared in a L&S video game. This guy may or may not be retconned. 621 is gray-green and has a small torso and six long limbs. Using a machine, 621 is able to use foreign DNA to mutate into other forms.
Then we have Reuben, of course. Seems to have all of the same powers as Stitch, and is also lazy. Also speaks fluently in an average voice while Stitch does not; 621 is described as having a Stitchlike accent, but speaks in longer sentences? I’m not sure about 600, I’d have to check. The way this trait varies... is headcanon fodder.
Stitch (626) Superpowers, retractable limbs and accessories, is feral normally, and said to cause large amounts of chaos inside cities. Fortunately, never gets to a city.
627 is everything Stitch is but worse. 627 seems to be programmed not just to find glee in chaos, but to find it funny; this could make it difficult for the experiment to empathize, and thus, was not rehabilitated the way Stitch was. However, 627′s programming is still focused on harmful pranks and not on actual bloodthirst.
The little pod ball of 628 has been seen, but not activated; Jumba is hanging on to it. It has been confirmed to be a Chaos Gremlin. This is fan character fodder.
Leroy (629) is just Stitch but legit evil. Like, as in “power-hungry / wanton murder” evil.
I don't count Angel as a Chaos Gremlin because in order to be a Chaos Gremlin, you need to have Stitch's purpose. Despite being a pink Stitch clone in appearance, Angel's purpose appears to be more like the monster ringmaster, with the ability to activate the experiments' destructive programming. Shout out to Jumba for continuing to make Stitch But Irredemable over and over despite knowing the Galactic Federation might gas the planet if they found out

Happy Experiment 628 Day! 👽❓
Today (barely in time for me) is the day that we would celebrate this unknown experiment who we only saw as a pod. I would try to find a drawing of a blue pod with the number 628 printed on it and share it with you guys here.
But this time around, I'm going to focus on fan-made experiments in general instead. So many experiments have been made by fans over the years, whether they're to try to fill the many empty spaces of unseen experiments made before Stitch, "fankids" of pre-existing experiments (usually Stitch and Angel), "new" experiments made by Jumba after Leroy (X-629), or "experimentsonas"/"Stitchsonas" that fans use to identify with. The fans keep the cuteness and fluffiness going!
Here are just a handful of fan-made experiments over the years. (And you will find more fan experiments in our zine!)
Tumblr media
Dryspell, Soda, and Shyft by Ribera – One of the oldest Lilo & Stitch fan artists, Ribera is known for having designed a number of original experiments over the years. The devilish Dryspell (left) and sweet little Shyft (right) are two of his oldest original experiments, having been originally made for a fan comic he worked on, while Soda (center) was inspired by a creature of Chinese culture years before Stitch & Ai came along. However, fans are probably most familiar with his long-time experimentsona, Rib, who isn't in this post but you can find lurking in our zine!
Tumblr media
Ovni by Petrock – Another one of the older experimentsonas, Ovni's adorable gray squirrel-like design with touches of yellow was a fun sight for fans to see. New art of him have slowed down these days as his owner lost much of his passion for the franchise, but he will always be part of the fans' 'ohana.
Tumblr media
X-503: Comet by @artist-issues for @stitchandani (DeviantArt, Tumblr) – While I am aware that Arti made a 628 design, I decided to go with a different experiment instead. I really like Comet's simple yet adorable armadillo design, and her little backstory is sweet. Combine them together and you've got yourself a very huggable experiment. (As any experiment should be. Also, just the basic idea of a flying armadillo experiment sounds awesome.) Anyway, check out the Stitch & Ani project for more original experiment designs.
Tumblr media
Cling by LittleTiger488 with plushie of theX-plotion's interpretation of 621/Chopsuey – A couple more old fan experiments, here. Cling was essentially an experiment alt of LittleTiger488's fursona April. She was designed to, you guessed it, cling onto things. She was especially fond of Yaarp. The blue experiment plush she's hugging is theX-plotion's interpretation of Experiment 621, Chopsuey, who is an officially seen experiment (from the PS2 prequel game Disney's Stitch: Experiment 626) but looks nothing like this. theX-plotion's 621's power is, uh, interesting to say the least. (Warning: Linked DeviantArt page contains cartoonish depiction of blood from a head injury in greyscale.)
Tumblr media
Jinx by MiriamTheBat – MiriamTheBat was another old Lilo & Stitch fan artist from back in the old days. Her DeviantArt account has since been deactivated but her art remains available on there. She made a few fan experiments of her own and wrote some stories about them. Jinx was one of them; this ref sheet doesn't really show it, but she was basically Shoe on steroids with little in the way of good luck. She's an all-powerful monster in her "evil" form, but a scared and shy sweetie in her "good" form.
Tumblr media
Full Speed Ahead! by Specky-Arts – Here's quartet of experiments having some summer fun at a water park! The picture experiments here are Speaky-Arts' own Speck (upper-right), NekonK's Nekon (lower-right; DeviantArt account deactivated), AcesGrace96's E01GF/Tah-Koh (upper-left), and Veggiebad's Jack (lower-left), the last of whom you can find in our zine!
Tumblr media
Twinsies! by @blushbaker – When these two realized they both share a cookies n' cream design, they just had to become siblings! The experiment on the left with the red neckerchief is CitrusDenny's Oreo, while the blue-eyed one on the right is Blushbaker's own Cookie. Sadly, we don't see much of Oreo or her artist/owner these days, but she was a creative force of nature when she was active in the fandom.
Tumblr media
Angora by @angoraram – An absolute legend in the Lilo & Stitch fandom, my good achi-baba Angora burst onto the Lilo & Stitch fandom with art as adorable and lively as she is. She's made a decent collection of original experiment designs over the years, many of which she put up for adoption. You can find them on her DeviantArt gallery, which now boasts over 1100 followers!
Tumblr media
New Batch by @salty-nebula – Another good achi-baba of mine, Ryuko Rose or "Salty Nebula" has been a longtime member of the fandom. They've made a lot of fan kids of Jumba's experiments such as these five. I'm particularly fond of their Heat/Kixx fan daughter Minerva (or "Minnie"); she can get a bit grumpy sometimes, but she has a heart as big as she is, as her closeness with Rei's Stitch/Angel fan daughter Lana shows.
Tumblr media
005/Truxx, 028/Lori, 034/Splort, and 038/Plats by Sketch-Lampoon, art by @psychedelic-lemur – Matthew "Sketch-Lampoon" Robson was one of the more notable artists in the fandom mainly due to his one ultimate goal; to draw every single one of Jumba's experiments, seen or unseen. Sadly, he's disappeared from DeviantArt without having quite completed his goal yet, but his many unique experiment designs will always be an inspiration to the fans. @psychedelic-lemur is one of them; he had been taking on the same difficult task for the last couple years, drawing Robson's own designs (like the ones seen above) alongside the canonical ones.
There's one more day left as 20th Anniversary Stitch Week comes to a close, so don't say "Aloha 'Oe" just yet!
