Journalists require licenses to work
Why are journalists not given a license to work, like doctors are, if their work is so detrimental in shaping the news available for society, and that news’ credibility and objectivity? This way if any journalist violates certain guidelines and offends a minority, for example, then they must answer to a body of professionals in the field which could jeopardise their license. It is not possible to monitor citizen journalists but monitoring journalistic behaviour is accessible for larger news organisations. A journalistic association may even build credibility and help news websites attract consumers and make profits online.

#2HW1 - one thing i have a question about from the chapter
In the section on mobility they briefly say “The web and the internet (there’s a difference, but it’s meaningless to a lot of people)...”
this was not explained before or after this paragraph and confuses me as a reader, because it would help explain why they added it and how it would contribute to the paragraph it was mentioned in. otherwise, it should have not been mentioned.

Homework Question 2
On page 129 it says that blogs are ‘easy and inexpensive’ to create and in the following paragraph it says they are ‘difficult and expensive’ to maintain. Therefore, the question I have about the homework is:  When they say its ‘expensive’ to maintain do they mean it in a figurative way?
