Panhard CD Le Mans, 1962. The CD made its debut at Le Mans during the test days in April 1962, where the car was registered in the prototype class for engines of up to 850cc. It was powered by an air-cooled flat twin engine but the lightweight, highly aerodynamic body meant that of the 4 cars to enter the race in June one finished 16th overall and won its class and the "Indice de Performance," which meant it had consumed the least amount of fuel whilst maintaining an average speed of 142.793 km/h (88.7 mph).

I just hope that Marcus Ericsson winning the Indy 500 last year & Antonio Giovinazzi winning Le Mans this year makes 'those' motorsport fans realise that just because a driver doesn't have success in F1, it doesn't make them a crap driver. F1 isn't the be all and end all of motorsport and people need to accept that.

shout out to charles leclerc who went to honor ferrari in the "24 hours of le mans" and stayed there for the *entire* race, slept in the guests' facilities so as not to miss any details, and said that he really wants to be able to participate in the race one day!!!
