#2) Ran will finally not be so helpless when she's with Shinichi (she never did but the wrong way they portray her kinda make it seem so)

Shinichi’s struggles in Movie 4
Looking back at movie 4, I noticed the lack of emphasis on what Shinichi has been through in movie 4 because granted, the movie is full of moments but in this post I want to focus on Shinichi’s struggles.
Ran’s Memories:
The person you love the most in this world lost their memory and they don’t remember you at all. I just can’t imagine how shocking and painful (1) it was to watch because 1- She has been through a great damage to reach that point and he is so protective of her, it wasn’t something he could be one bit happy about. 2- It means you don’t exist in her thoughts/heart and he wasn’t happy about that either except that he is good at hiding these thoughts so it might be easy to miss on them when you watch the movie but just look at his eyes, they’re the one telling the story but he won’t breakdown because he has to protect her.
Being Forgotten:
When Haibara implied that it would be better for her to forget about him he got super upset (2). Conan doesn’t easily get triggered when it’s not case-related damage and he doesn’t lose his cool easily. However, the mere idea of Ran forgetting him was a something he couldn’t bear that he almost lashed out at her. I personally believe that it’s easier for him if she hates, get mad or not talk to him than to be completely forgotten by her, which was out of the question.
Shinichi’s Absence:
This is divided into three, in the perspective of Shinichi himself, the people around them and Ran. It must have been so painful to be there all the time and everyone thinks you aren’t. That you don’t care enough to be there when this is the top of your priority. He must have felt helpless (3) and got reminded of how he ended up where he is now. If there was one person who wanted to be there for Ran all the time it would have been him and he WAS there all the time but who would know? (only two people but that won’t change anything) Then there is the fact that everyone thinks he doesn’t care about her to leave whatever is keeping him away to come and see her. Finally there is Ran who keeps hearing about this Kudo Shinichi, a guy whom she is supposedly close with but he is nowhere to be found. Does he really care as they claim? She really wants to see him but where is he? and Shinichi had to see all of that and do nothing, because he couldn’t.
Injured:
When he jumped in front of the train, we saw later on that they took care of Ran’s wounds but he was injured (4) as well. There was no indication that he took medical aid because he was wearing his clothes. Now I won’t be convinced that he got out of it injuries-free but knowing him, I wouldn’t be surprised if he claimed that he was alright not to make them worry. Later on he got shot and beaten by culprit but he claimed to be alright as he usually does but was he really?
At the end nobody will know, Kudos Shinichi wasn’t there and all the things he went through will be kept to himself. His pain, injuries and inner thoughts will be known by no one but him. But that doesn’t matter for him, because he loves her more than anything in the world and he will do that again and again even if she doesn’t know that he is by her side, protecting her and watching over her. Even if his confession wasn’t believed he will say it again because those are his true feelings He won’t let you be aware of his pain but he will make sure you never have one of yours even if it risks his life. That’s why I love Kudo Shinichi.. He is a giver and expects nothing in return he doesn’t want acknowledgment as long as the goal is fulfilled and even if Ran never get to know what he did for her, he will keep doing it and it doesn’t matter to him because all he cares about is keeping her safe and that’s what I call the purest love.
