the death of Twitter has brought me peace tbh
#like I’ll be real with the 1k of you who followed me here#I was already debating for several months before everything went to shit#of just going scorched earth and deleting everything#social media was really making my mental health spiral bc it felt like despite the amount of people following me#there was no meaningful connections#and I suck at making connections because I’m stupidly autistic#and so I was spiraling a Lot behind the scenes even if it didn’t look like it#and now it feels like Twitter is dying a natural death and I don’t have to worry about abandoning everything bc it’s all dead anyways#and it’s brought me such relief to be able to just yeet everything and not feel bad about it#start over here where it’s quieter#also I understand the Twitter artists with like thousands of followers and 0 following these days#the biggest anxiety for me was Always the vibe of ‘I don’t know if my mutual likes only my art#or maybe we can be friends’#and then I was just staring at all my mutuals like 👁️ 👄 👁️#and giving myself even more anxiety#oh to follow no one and not have to worry about that
