So, first day of work was interesting, but not as crazy as I was worried it was going to be. Mostly today was just filling out paperwork and getting tours of the facilities. I can tell I’m going to love my coworkers, especially the office manager Pam (fake name). She’s this older lady who’s clearly been on the job for too long, and those are the absolute best coworkers. She cussed out one of the younger guys for hooking up with his ex because “If you don’t have the common sense to stay away from that bitch, don’t fucking whine about it to me.” 

I was also given keys to about a dozen different doors and padlocks and I have no idea how I’m going to keep them all straight. Apparently every time they try and standardize the locks half of them go missing or get broken, so they just stopped trying awhile back. 

Anyway, I’ll keep you updated as I get used to this new job, but I’m very excited after my first day.
