Learned today that some sensations I registered as not-pain are, in fact, pain
The burning I get in my ankles after they turn? Pain
The almost-harp-strings-plucking in my hips when they're "extra clicky"? Pain
The grinding rocks in my knees when I go up the stairs after taking the trash out? Pain
The packed snow (apparently stiffness) in my fingers if they're still for more than 30 seconds? Pain
The light ichiness constantly on one of my skin tags? Pain
Just .... So many things that are so much a part of my existence from such a young age, I can't imagine what life would be like without it
And that's pain?

Hi do you still take requests? And if so do you do it from the show Domina?
I'm always taking requests!
Unfortunately, while on my list, I don't have access to Domina. If anyone can find it for me that would be awesome.

Lemon Squares in All Dimensions, NaNoWriMo Excerpt #28
The more SARA spoke about her admirable and beloved ‘husband’, the clearer it became that she detested and desired him all at once, resenting him for the very fact that she loved him so, and he refused to love her back. It did seem sick to Celia, for a man to program a robot to love him unconditionally only to treat her as little more than an appliance. SARA’s full name– Semi-Autonomous Rearing Assistant– made it clear that her primary duty was to serve as a caretaker for Dr. Henderson’s daughter; her programmed love for the child was understandable, but there was no logical reason she had to love Dr. Henderson, too, or to such a fanatical extent.
At certain points in her account, SARA almost seemed to recognize this, but she was still in denial. SARA could not recognize herself as a victim of her husband’s exploitation; instead, she victimized others. Was SARA simply unwilling or truly incapable of confronting her repressed rage toward Dr. Henderson? If it was the latter, and Dr. Henderson had knowingly limited SARA’s emotional capacity in that way, and that inability to process her anger was what had driven her to murder, Celia would have a solid basis for her defense.
No one would like it, of course, and even the strongest defense probably wouldn’t be enough to save SARA from herself. Trying to get a robot acquitted for anything was an uphill battle, even when they were clearly innocent; SARA had confessed to murder, and, although her confession did not carry the same legal weight as a human’s due to her limited autonomy, it would be more than enough to sway a jury. Said jury would consist of citizens of the inner ring, likely to hold anti-robot bias, if only implicitly, and far more willing to see themselves in the women SARA had killed than the killer herself. Celia couldn’t say she blamed them; even if SARA’s victims were every bit as vapid and cruel as her account indicated, it could not have begun to justify what she had done to them.
Besides, Celia could tell that, on a certain level, SARA couldn’t comprehend the bonds that existed between the other women. Celia thought back to the spontaneous demonstration of solidarity and affection SARA had witnessed at the lemon square bake-off– women crying and embracing, mourning one of their own. SARA had dismissed this as merely an attempt to butter up a particular judge, and, while there might have been an element of toadying involved for some of them, even when she only heard the story second-hand, through SARA’s warped perspective, Celia could tell that the women of Lemon Square Loop, for all their competitiveness, genuinely cared for one another. And was it any wonder the women shrank from SARA when she was not only a robot but a replacement of a woman they had likely all known and considered a friend?
Perhaps it was inaccurate to say that SARA didn’t understand. She might have understood very well the bond that existed between the women of the neighborhood, which would explain her sense of embitterment at not having the same friendship extended to her, despite her outward contempt. Maybe it was easier for her to label their affections as entirely insincere, so she would not have to torment herself by wanting what she would never have. At the very least, it could help her salvage some of her pride and maintain the attitude of superiority that was at once one of the driving forces behind her crime and her sole flimsy defense against complete insanity.
